How was the party, did you get a lot of LOOT? I heard the candy wasn't as good this year as in years past, and that they weren't giving as much out. Did you get a lot of chocolate? Or was it more of the lame candy like smarties and dum dums (not trying to be a hater on the smarties LOL) <---I will probably get a FE full of smarties now

FAMILY REUNION.......UUGGHHH, MOTHER.....BROTHER.....were the worst, My mother was never happy or content, she and my brother CONSTANTLY yelled at and scolded my neice somuch so that itook her under my wing as much as i could as to make her vacation better she is 7.
I made all the plans and noone was happy, but noone wanted tosit down and talk abotu plans either........ugh ugh ugh......I could go on,no need to LESSONS LEARNED....THINGS REMEMBERED.

MNSSHP was a blast......i will post pics of all of us from our photopass soon. Candy yeah not as much as last time, when going through hte lines and not as many stops as last year......BUT we left at the end of the night and they were dumping thier candy buckets out into our bags.

MY NIECE got to dance with CHIP or ws it DALE at one of the dance parties!!!

Did we decide what day we are going to do the ToT? I assume 10/31 so nobody has to dress up in costumes twice....I wish DCL announced their Halloween activity info earlier than just when we get on the ship so we could figure out what time to set up our ToT. I was sneaking around on this years' Halloween cruise thread and I could be wrong but I don't think they are doing a Dis ToT..maybe one of you lucky ducks on that cruise can confirm/deny.
I'm thinking when it comes to that we will have to make an educated guess as to what time to hold it, probably mid afternoon. The only potential issue I can think of offhand (aside from conflicting with the official DCL ToT or events) is that it is a port day for us...Key West. So maybe the time between dinners/shows (the 7:00 hour) will be better, although don't they run a dance party or something up on deck at that time? Oh well, food for thought...

Well, we did not do our TOT on Halloween, We did it on a day that was a sea day, so that noone was rushing to get somewhere.

We made sure it was not on the Disney Cruise Halloween day fer sure.

We also did not dress up, this way we were more in stealth mode for the "other" children not participating. That why we had the stickers.

I believe we started at 10am. there abouts.

Let me just say we are almosrt 365 days away from our HALLOWEEN Cruise 2010 ! Sounds like it is so far but as we all know- one year goes real fast!
Seventh Cruise- Can't wait for the new gifts... missed them this year by ONE Cruise..such the shaft..

Just found out about the disboards 3 months before my last cruise in september 09~ Love it!

I have been on a disney Halloween Cruise two years ago and the part is at night on the top deck- Goofy Pool
If I remeber correctly.. we got special chocolates on our pillow that night and all of the characters we in costumes- We bought a lot of those pictures! They do encourage you to dress in coutume for the dinner. Most of all the adults were dressed up!

It was a great time!

Although maybe not cause our PArty was late afternoon before Dinner and then we dressed up for dinner.

The Pirate PArty was at night.

I went over to the Halloween cruise tolook around and saw Knewton as in charge of the meet and greet......

as you mayb able to tell froma ll my posting.......I dont really feel like doing much today.

I worked almost with no sleep for 2 days after vacation.....And this is my day off........and i just dont have it in me to do anything.

I did clean out my purse and cleaned out the fridge.

I may go plant some flower and saya prayer and sprinkle pixie dust that it isnt too late for them.

I bought them before we left and left them sit in pots.....they look pretty sick.

I just booked this cruise on Saturday and was coming to post my info on this thread. When I saw Welcome aboard Jane and family, I thought it was for me (since my name is Jane). It will be me, my DH, and my 2 sons- Ben age 12 and Josh age 7. We also took a 4 day Wonder at the end of last month. We booked a 7 day for October 2011 while on board but when we got home we decided we couldn't wait 2 years, so we switched to this cruise. We also are waitlisted for early dining. Is it hard for the waitlist to come through? We are already really excited.

I inherited the name. There has been a Jane in every generation in my family stretching all the way back to our routes in Ireland. I never had a chance. I'm used to it though. Could do without the Tarzan jokes, however.

I picked October 30th because I knew DD would have off from school the following Tuesday for Election Day and so would only miss 4 days of school. I chose October 8th for a similar reason, except the school holiday would be Columbus Day.

Okay, Jane, now you are really scaring me. My ancesters are from Ireland also and it is also a family name. And I choose this week because my kids are off 1-1/2 days and the week in October because they get 2 days off for Fall break. You are going to have to buy me a beer if this doesn't stop soon!
