Congrats to everyone with their room assignments. So many of us being on one deck is sure going to make delivery of the FE's quicker than I thought it was going to be!

Yes -- I've got Allison and Michael on my list! The names I posted were the ones that I didn't have either a name or a stateroom for. The kids on our cruise will have tons of fun with all the different activities. It will be fun for all of us to watch them enjoy the magic of Disney!!!!

I call them lava flows because that's what they were called when we went to Hawaii; pina colada with strawberry puree-love them!

This will be what I anticipate to be the first of a couple of quote heavy messages as I still have a couple of pages to read!!

Need some other ideas for our trip. Monies are tight, but we will be celebrating our 10 yr. anniversary onboard-what are some ideas for our week on the Magic to doin leiu of shore tours/expensive ship things throughout the week (Most concerned with Cozumel & Grand Cayman; Key West is so brief and Castaway Key is a $7 tube and a couple non-alcoholic beverages) We're ADD/ADHD and don't know how to relax and like to be busy all the time. I don't want a huge bill! Thanks for the fresh ideas, I have total faith you guys will think of things I haven't!

I have one idea you might like, Margaritaville in Grand Cayman has a rooftop pool with slide and hot tub. It is really nice, and of course free for customers. So you could pop in the shop and buy a souvie or just head upstairs for a couple of drinks and have fun! Its a great way to kill a few hours in a fun atmosphere for a great price (Ok their drink prices are high but it is way cheaper than an excursion!!!)

In Cozumel there is M-ville there too but no pool. I think it is Senor Frogs Lite has a cool looking slide into the ocean right by the pier. Another place you could go to kill some time, have some fun and what could be a reasonable cost- depending on what you consume! Ha ha!

Is anyone going to MSSHP on 10/28? We are.

I'm still holding out hope we can pull it off but it looks slim at this point, since its an extra nearly $400. I saw the map yesterday and looks like so much fun! I'm not giving up til the fat lady sings so....as long as it is not sold out, there is still a chance.

We got the doc for the 10/23/10 cruise this past Monday!!!! This Cruise can begin to look for the documents to arrive at any moment. It is begining to feel real.

Jen, my two will be bringing their own TOT bags. Nothing fancy, just the $1 minnie bags from the Disney store. Figured I'll pack some surprise onboard things for them when we first walk into our stateroom and then reuse them for the TOT.

My kids will be bringing their own bags, also. Our Disney Store just got the reusuable bags with the Halloween design and I couuldn't pass them up.

Beth, I don't know about my older two, well Brendan will have just turned 11, but as far as Savannah (9) I think it will depend on the girls she ends up hanging out with onboard. She has been chatting with a few her age and a few that are a little bit older so I'm not sure. She also might want to take Sarah around for the hunt. She has expressed interest but doesn't want to be torn away from her friends. LOL. I think when the time comes and she sees kids doing it she will not want to be left out. So if you could sign up Savannah (9) and Sarah (2), we are in 6132. Thanks!

We can deliver them whenever we want? Correct? I'm the type that likes to get mine gone ASAP So don't be surprised to find your FE filled minutes after putting it out (especially if you are on Deck 6!)

I just called, I don't have a credit. I paid a $150 surcharge when booked it was in 08 when the gas went super high. She said if the oil was below $70 a barrel for the quarter which was in August I would've gotten a credit.

Did anyone get a fuel credit?

Hmm. We did but it is confusing how they are handling the surcharge refunds. We had originally booked a different date (three different dates actually) so we did have the surcharge because we booked when dates opened in 10/08. We got the OBC(or maybe it was direct credit I'm not sure, Ron knows) when we changed our ressie about a year ago to this cruise. But we definitely did get it refunded in some fashion.

We are going to the MNSSHP the night before the cruise so we are packing Halloween bags since we will be ToT in WDW. Thanks for thinking of everybody.

TOT bags, Nope, we won't be bringing our own, unless I can find the extras I had from MNSSHP last year. I'll let you know later this afternoon. I have to find the box all that stuff is in, then dig through it, but I have to get into it anyway.

Thanks all for letting me know. I appreciate the responses: this has been enough I think to do a little math and gauge whether or not I can get one package of bags and put the rest of that money towards TREATS!

A thought that occured to me is that the children might enjoy this lasting more than one day. Perhaps if some want to do this early then maybe others could wait a day or two so that they get surprises in their FE for at least the first couple of days.

Just a thought...

We are definitely late FE deliverers. We were one of (if not the) last to make drops on our last cruise. (On Night 5). We did receive most all of the deliveries very early in the cruise that time. We didn't get anything days 6 or 7. But we will be delivering when the opportunity and urge strikes us and I can pretty much guarantee with all the ToT and lanyard stuff I will have to deal with straight away that it will NOT be in the first few days! LOL!

Hooray, we finally got our stateroom assigned... it is 7084! Although, this didn't happen without some hassles and a call to DCL! Here's what happened:

Last night, after logging onto the DCL website, I was very excited to see that we got assigned our stateroom only to be dissappointed to see that we had been given a Cat. 9 stateroom instead of the Cat. 7 or higher one we were promised -- we are traveling on a free voucher from purchasing an interest in DVC, which we then upgraded with $$ back in January. However, since it was later than 10pm EST, I had to wait until this morning to call DCL and sort it all out. After being put on hold twice while the CM on the phone researched our booking history, I'm happy to report that everything got squared away by the helpful CM and we got our upgrade. Our upgrade was for a GTY Cat. 7, and we got a Cat. 5 stateroom, so we are obviously very happy. Here's some info for folks out there who are thinking of an upgrade... the CM said that Cat. 6 & Cat. 7 are all sold out and assigned (thus our Cat. 5 assignement).

Oops, forgot to answer nenner1 (Jen)... we weren't thinking of bringing any ToT bags, but was just gonna make do with what we could find that day. We're ok with not getting one from the DIS ToT, thanks for being so thoughtful! Oh, that reminds me, I was at our local Costco the other day and saw they had miniature Disney playing cards that were very cute and relatively inexpensive... i think they were like a package of 30 for $8 or so. I know you mentioned not needing any contributions to the ToT treats, but i was wondering if you'd like me to contribute those for the ToT? I would be happy to, just let me know how many.

Yummmmmmmmm! That looks just like the Lava Flows I was introduced to in Maui during the trip we got engaged, back in 2000. Since then, I've had them in many places other than Hawaii, but somehow they never taste quite the same... I'll definitely give these a shot if they are served on the cruise though!!

Dizney-cruiser has almost completed the maps, and they have all the FE rooms/info listed in the MOST easy to read format, along with the ship map, I've ever seen! When she's done, she'll be sharing that with everyone. I've seen the draft and must say, IT'S AMAZING!!!!

I have been on a huge shopping spree the last few days. I have bought my FE gifts, my tie-dye supplies, my iron on transfers, Halloween costumes, more clothing, ToT stuff...man someone stop me!

As far as the ToT bags I think enough folks have expressed that they are bringing bags to allow me to only purchase one lot of 50 bags. So please do bring your personal ToT bags if you have them, that will save the other ones for those who do not have one.
