Hi guys! Sorry that I've been MIA lately. Been busy with trying to get the things ready for Anna Marie. Trying to see what we can fit into suitcases, what she will have to get when she is down there, all her paperwork that has to get done, etc... Not to mention trying to get things around here to be packed for us to go to Disney AND on top of that, getting the house back to "the normal" before we leave. I took the Christmas tree and the Christmas decorations down on Sat and Sun and then yesterday and today I took the boxes of decorations back downstairs for storage until next year. The kids started back to school yesterday. I think they were glad to go back and get away from mom! LOL!

Today I had a doctor's appointment. My right elbow has been bothering me since October, but I kept thinking it would get better on its own ( figured it was a pulled muscle or something)but needless to say, it didn't. I was gettting a burning pain in it, so I finally bite the bullet and went to the doctors. It wasn't broken thank goodness, but I have "tennis elbow" so to speak and had to get a shot of cortisone in it, PLUS I have to wear a brace on it for the next few months. If it doesn't help, I will have to get another shot in 3 months and if that doesn't help, possible surgery. Happy New Year to me! Tomorrow I go to the ENT since I have this sinus infection that won't go away. Everytime I swallow, my ears pop. I had a "Z pack" to try and take care of it,but that didn't help.

I will be making cupcakes or something for friday for Brooke's 6th Birthday so she can take them to school. Since we are going to Disney in about a week, there will be no birthday party right now for her. Maybe when we get back. Just too much to do and not enough time to do it in. We will have a little "party" for her (her favorite meal and presents from her brother and sisters and us) and a small cake on Friday. She knows that we are going to Disney next week and is fine with not having a birthday party right now.

I know that Heidi, Denine, and myself posted what we got for the exchange, but what did everyone else get? Or did I miss that?

Heidi, sorry to hear about your co worker's brother. Keep us posted on his condition.

Denine, thanks for the update on Kaleigh.

Sandy, so when do you guys leave again? I thought it was 8th. Have a great time!

Susan, been thinking about you and your family. glad to hear that our father is hanging in there. Let me know if you guys are still going down to WDW. You have my cell, right?

Barb, we had a pretty good snow yesterday! Sorry to hear you guys got swamped because of it. It's been snowing lightly all day here ( on and off). I wish we had this weather 2 weeks ago for Christmas. Oh well. We are suppose to get lake effect snow the rest of the week. ( we get snow off of Lake Erie, since it's not frozen over yet).

Well, gonna run. gotta go ice my elbow.

Be back later!

Julie: I figured you'd be busy trying to get things organized with Anna Marie, plus school and everything else. Sorry about your elbow. Hope it feels better soon.

PSR was cancelled for tonight. Kaleigh is bummed.

Taking Jazz to the vet tomorrow to see if they can do anything more for him.

Sandy: Kaleigh says it doesn't hurt.

Good morning.

Julie - Sorry about your elbow, I hope you don't have to have surgery done. Sounds like a really busy time for you right now. Hopefully the weather will warm up when you get to WDW, sounds like it is pretty cold there right now too.

Susan - Thinking of you.

Barb - Get ready for the storm today. It's not suppose to be much snow but they said it is going to be really cold due to the wind.

Denine - I hope the vet can help Jazzy out. Clapping sounds very painful, glad to hear she says that it doesn't hurt.

Mom - Guess who found me on facebook and sent me a friend request? Ryan Martinez. I was so excited to see the email this morning. I cannot wait to get on FB and accept and see how he is doing.

2 more days of work until vacation!!!! I cannot wait to get away from here for a little bit.

Good Morning!

Heidi-Please accept my apology about not posting what I received for the exchange. Since I didn't post during Christmas I totally forgot. :sad2:
I LOVED the 2 ornaments!! They fit perfectly on my tree. Took me a minute to figure out who my Secret Santa was since you didn't include your name I saw the post mark was from Littleton and remembered that Sandy send peanut brittle with her gift so that leaves you!.:lmao: again I am SOOO sorry.

I guess Chris forgot to put my name, sorry about that. He shipped off all the packages this year for Christmas and I told him what to put but I guess he forgot. :lmao:

A crummy morning weather-wise; freezing drizzle and wet snow. I have to drive to Strongsville for the vet, x-rays and my pay stub. Yuck! Jerry would rather I cancel the appointment, but Jazz really needs to be seen. The weather advisory goes until 10 AM and I have to leave at 10:30. We feel like we live in the south when they don't clean the roads. Only, we don't shut down even if they don't clean the roads.

We get a bit of a break from the snow tonight and tomorrow. Then tomorrow night more snow arrives, 3-5". Jerry said we have about a foot on the ground. My parents said they have almost 2 feet on the ground. Some places have almost 3 feet on the gound!

Starting back up with school today even though it will get chopped up with errands.

Denine, our weather is COLD. Our snow hasn't melted and has been around for probably 6 weeks. At least it isn't as high as yours.

Barb, you really DID have a secret Santa!! LOL

Julie, yuck. Sorry about your elbow. OUCH! Hope you don't need surgery. When do you leave for WDW? We leave for MX 12:45AM Saturday. So essentially it is the 8th since we have to be at the airport Friday PM. Susan has my name. She sent me a PM right before Christmas stating that she had the gift and just needed to get it in the mail. I told her no worries and not to rush. What kind of friend would I be that couldn't understand what she is going through!!!!!! I am a little worried if it comes when we are gone as Heidi is our house babysitter and is with us. LOL

I had a Dermatologist appt scheduled for today so I asked if I could have it done yesterday. Thankfully they got me in. It isn't scary to drive yet but I thought just in case.

Hugs to all.

Heidi, I forgot to respond to you. OMG, Ryan Martinez. I got the goosebumps when I read it. I'm just as excited as you. I can't wait to hear all about what's been going on with him. Keep me posted. I loved that guy!

Wanted to get back on and post real quick since I got cut off before. I am off the phones doing some follow up stuff so I squeezed posting in.

Denine-Hope you get good news on Jazzy and Kaleigh. Sounds like a hard process for a Mom to have to do. Poor baby has been through so much. NO MORE SICK!

Julie-Hope you dont need surgery. I get those shots in my knee and boy do they help!

Heidi-BOOOO STORM! It was really sunny this morning and boy did it move in quick. No snow yet but we are surrounded in clouds.

Went to water aerobics last night. I only have gone like 3 or 4 times since Sept because of vacations, holidays and sick. The heater in the pool was not working and man was it cold! I would have walked out but decided I better tuff it out. SOOO unlike me.

HAPPY ONE DAY EARLY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love You!

We are back from all our errands. At least the roads were mostly just wet since they upped the advisory to last until 4 PM.

Not good news for Jazzy. He has an ulcer on his tongue related to a virus. His breathing has been labored and the vet couldn't really hear his lungs. He gained a pound since his last visit, which wasn't because of eating. The vet did an ultrasound of his chest and tummy. Then she took 80 ml of bloody, cloudy fluid off his chest and more clear fluid from his tummy. The chest fluid may be like it is because of infection or cancer. She gave me Cipro for him and an opiate pain medicine. She seems to think he is in a lot of discomfort. I have seen Jazz in pain, and he has seemed pretty comfortable to me, except for the labored breathing. He seems to be breathing better, but don't know for how long. If these 2 things don't help him feel better than we will have to say good bye.

Denine - I am so sorry about Jazzy. I hope he isn't suffering and can recover.

I found out more about my coworker's brother. I guess he was jumped by a group of guys and then they laid him on the train tracks.

Heidi: Thanks, but I know Jazzy won't get better. I am only hoping to prolong his life a bit. He isn't suffering.

Scary about your co-worker's brother.

Denine, I wouldn't want Jazzy in pain either. It's so hard to do but bless his heart, he has been through A LOT!!

Barb, I don't know if you read my post when you put your pics on FB but you are sooooooo skinny! And then you keep up the exercise the best you can. You make me sick! LOL

Heidi, that is absolutely HORRIBLE. Now, if I remember, you said both of his legs were severed? I sure hope that he can wear prosthetics. How is he doing? Bless his heart, he is so young.

So much for a break in the weather. We have a new weather advisory starting a noon tomorrow that goes until 10Am Friday morning. 3"-5" expected. I knew about the snow, but I heard it wasn't supposed to be until tomorrow night.

At least Jazzy is breathing better with some of the fluid gone from his chest. I just hope the antibiotics can help some.

It's 8 degrees out and snowing. Wind chill is -11. Brrrrrr! Glad Jazzy might be reacting to the antibiotic!

Denine - I am sorry. It is so hard on you when you have to make that choice for your fur baby. Be careful with that weather, stay warm.

Mom - Yes, he did lose both legs. He is finally out of critical condition and has been moved and now they are just waiting to assess. No talk of prosthetics yet, but I am not sure if he even has insurance.

Barb - My mom is so right, you look amazing so the water aerobics definitely pays off.

Mom - You too are well on your way miss baggy jeans, you have done a great job on losing weight too!
