Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't posted in a while.

Dad is slowly declining. He has a lot of numbness in his face and the swelling just continues. His vision is really bad now. They say all of this is because of the lining of the brain is increasing in pressure and this will interfere with lots of nerves. I haven't been up to see him since Thursday. I have a cold (possibly bronchitis). I'm going to the doctor tomorrow.

Depending on how Dad is later this week, I still hope to go to Orlando Friday for Turner's hockey tournament. Should be some really good games.

Planning to take some Nyquil and hopefully get a little sleep tonight.

Hope everyone has a great week. (Wish I was in Mexico!)

Hey everyone!

Susan, sorry to hear about your dad, but just remember that we are here for you and your family. I know what you are going through. See my dad decline so rapidly and watching Garry's dad with his cancer, I completely COMPLETELY know what you are feeling.

I hope that you get a chance to come to Orlando and watch the games. Let me know either way. Give me a call or text me!

Had a nice day on Friday with the kids being home. It was Brooke's Birthday present!!!! OUR LITTLE PRINCESS IS NOW 6 YEARS OLD!!!! She is such a "big girl" now.

Well, gonna run! Have a super day!

Julie: It looks like the weather should warm up in WDW just in time. Have a great trip!

Susan: Sorry to hear about your dad. Rely on hospice for anything he may need to keep him confortable! Let us know if you need anything, even a shoulder to cry on. You have my cell#. Hope you feel better.

Snowy again today. It snowed like crazy a little while ago. Supposed to get a couple more inches.

Other than the ususal, nothing going on here.

Good Morning!

Today is my 12 year anniversary with Progressive. Can't believe I have been here that long. It is suppose to be 60 today. YAY! Loving the nice weather.

Sandy & Heidi- Have fun. Hope it warms up. Do you have any fun activities planned?

Susan-Hows your Dad? **HUGS** Did you decide if you are going to Orlando?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKE!
Seems like yesterday she was born.

Julie-I so excited for you going to Disney. :cheer2: Bet the kids are SUPER excited! Does Annamarie know what her job will be yet?

It is Tuesday, I think.

I thought we were going to have to say goodbye to Jazz yesterday. He was struggling so to breathe and just didn't look happy. I talked to the vet yesterday morning, and she doubled his morning lasix dose. I had Jerry call the vet last night to see what they said. The vet said to give it a couple more days to see if the increased lasix helps and then we will know if it is going to work or not. So, I will see how he is today and we may have to make a decision tomorrow. I was a basket case last night. Kaleigh was too. Jazz is the only cat she remembers and they have been best buddies since we got him. She was 2. Hera has been trying to warm up more and lets Kaleigh pet her once in a while but it isn't the same. No one is allowed to even try to pick her up and Jazz wants to be carried around like a baby.

It is still snowing, but it is a light snow. The plow just went down our street. We are finally supposed to get UP to freezing tomorrow. Hopefully Kaleigh can go out to play on Thursday when it is supposed to be 39.

Starting WW today. I hope we can do this with everything else going on. We are stress eaters.

Barb: Congrats on your 12 year anniversary!

Hope our vacationers are enjoying themselves and drinking pleny of margaritas for me!

I know Julie is busy getting ready for vacation.

As far as I know, Anna Marie finds out where she will be working when she gets down there. All I know is it is quick service food.

Thinking about you Susan.

It sure is lonely around here. Sandy and Heidi are gone, Julie will be gone...

I have decided that Jazz is still fighting and I am going to let him fight. Unless he gets worse, I will continue to do my best to nurse him back to health.

Supposed to get some sun today and be above freezing!

I started taking down Christmas decorations. There hasn't been the desire or the time.

Day 1 of WW went well.

Good Morning

Another beautiful day here. A little cooler then yesterday but still really nice.
Went to water aerobics last night. Ethan slammed into a wall head first in Villakids and has a goose egg bump on his head.

Hi! Can't stay on long but just wanted to pop in to say hi!

Busy packing the suitcases. I have all of the 3 kids packed and my stuff and most of Garry's. I will be done by 2pm with that stuff. Anna Marie isn't here and don't know if we will see her today or not. She just doesn't get this that she isn't going to WDW for a week or 2 thing! Oh well, not my problem!

House is pretty much clean too! Just have to straighten up a bit. Taking Miley (the puppy) to Milan Ohio tonight. she is gonna stay with my Aunt and Uncle while we are gone. My neighbor couldn't watch her this trip and with everyone working around here, she would have to stay in her cage all day and that's not fair to her. SO, we will be making the hour trip tonight to drop her off. SO, that is one MORE person/pet to pack!!! LOL!!!!

Well gotta run! Have a great day all!

Julie: Sounds like you have everything together! Let us know where Anna Marie will be working when you find out.

Barb: Poor Ethan!

Good Morning
Sorry had to cut it short yesterday got a call then never did get the chance to come back.

Julie-You sound very organized. Lucky you! Have a great time.

Denine-Looks like it is just you me and Susan for a while. If I remember right Susan was even talking about being gone. How is Jazzy?

Going to Villa tonight for water aerobics. Ethan's head is better swelling went down but he still has a bruise probably will for a long time. He really slammed into that wall. Not much else new with me.

will check back later

My day started with the lens falling out of my glasses. I had to call Jerry to see where the repair kit was kept and then I had to have Kaleigh search for it. I am blind without my glasses. I tried to fix them but I had no luck. So, now I am wearing my sunglasses. At least I have a separate prescription pair. At least it is sunny today since I an wearing them in the house.

Jazz seems to be doing a bit better with the breathing. I don't know how long he can stay on the double dose of lasix though. We don't want him to get dehydrated. He only has 1 more antibiotic left. I am going to have to call to see what we do now.

Kaleigh is going out to play today. It is supposed to be around 40, so I won't have to worry about her lungs. I am getting tired of doing the chest clapping twice a day. I just hope it is working.

I have bread in the bread machine and I am making soup for dinner.

Day 3 of WW.

Ethan has a story to tell. Kids love that!

Susan: Are you going to FLA for Turner's hockey?

Julie: Have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! We are here at the airport waiting to board!!! We made it with ONLY 4 Big bags!!!!! 2 are Anna Marie's!!!!!!!

It is so nice and sunny here right now. It's chilly but still nice!

Denine, you will have to give me your bread recipe for weight watchers! Garry has lost 37lbs so far and I have lost 12lbs! When you mentioned bread and soup for dinner, I thought I will have to get those recipes!! We have been doing really good with our points and exercising.

Hey Denine, did you see that Shula's is now on the Table in Wonderland discount!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1: We are taking Anna Marie there before we leave. I was soooo pumped!!!

Well gonna run! I have to put the laptop away. We will check in when we get down to Disney!!!

TTFN

Julie: WOW! Only 4 bags, that is amazing! Oh yeah! I saw about Shula's! You guys are doing really well on WW. Neither the soup nor the bread were WW, but the soup was from Fix it & Forget It Lightly. It was an escarole and bean soup. It was really good at 3 points per bowl. The bread was cracked wheat, which is made with whole wheat and white flour, cracked wheat and then I add wheat bran and wheat germ. It has 1 tbsp of butter for a 1-1/2 lb loaf and 1 tbsp of honey. High fiber plus whole grains.

I got my glasses fixed so I can see again, but wearing the sunglasses all day gave me a headache.

We are going to double Jazz's evening dose of lasix too. We will finish the antibiotic tomorrow and then he will be done with that.

I hear from Kaleigh's pulmologist today. Now he says it DOES NOT look like Right Middle Lobe Syndrom. So he is back to thinking pneumonia, but can't understand why she has had it for so long. So, he wants her to have another x-ray before her 2/26 appointment and then possibly another CAT scan. UGHHH!

I talked to my parents today and they had to call 911 twice in the past week. My dad fell in the bathroom and thought he broke some ribs; turns out it was just a really bad bruise thank goodness. Then he went to watercise and couldn't stand when he got home so he couldn't get in the house, so EMS had to get him in the house and into his chair. I don't think he can watercise anymore. It just takes too much out of him.

It is always something!

Kaleigh had a blast playing outside today!

Looks like I am talking to myself.

TGIF!!!!

Cloudy and drizzily today.

Hopefully nothing going on today.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi guys! Had a quick moment to stop in and say hi between parks. It's sunny and in the 80's today!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1: The rain was last night when everyone was in bed or getting ready for bed.

It has been so nice here, crowd-wise. Well gonna run. I hope our Mexican visit-ers come back soon and give us a trip report!

TTFN

We're home!!

Denine, sorry you had to talk to yourself a couple of days. How's Jazzy doing.

Julie, WOW, four bags!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad the weather warmed up for you. This is a great time of year to go for crowd control that is for sure. Can't wait to hear where Anna Marie will work.

Barb, we missed the great temps you all were having. How's Ethan's goose egg, poor guy?

Susan, so sorry about your dad. I can only chime in with what everyone else said. Take advantage of what all Hospice has to offer for YOU and your dad.

We had a great time. Soooooooooooooooo many laughs and great memories. Weather was cool and cloudy for a couple of days and bright sun the last couple of days. As you may recall we flew red eye expecting to relax on the beach when we got there. Well, it rained the whole day. They were very nice and gave us a hospitality room until our room was available. It had such a great view that we asked to keep it and it was granted. We found things to do that day so it still worked out ok. Chris got sick one day but he realized that it was because he was skipping on his med so once he started that up again he was fine.

Good Morning!

Here I sit at work while most everyone else is off for the holiday. Hopefully it will be a slower day on the phones. I had a shadower last week. (new hire sits and listens to my calls with me to get pointers on how to defuse escalated callers) when we were done she kept say. I WOULD NEVER WANT YOUR JOB!!:scared1: :lmao: Had a couple of pretty rough ones. Good calls for her to hear though.

Sandy & Heidi- Welcome back. Glad you had a relaxing safe trip. We did have some great weather. Hope it lasts.

Denine-Glad you got your glasses fixed. Hope you get some answers and good news with Kaleigh. How frustrating! How is school?

Julie-So glad you are getting good weather. Sounds like it was miserable a couple of weeks ago down there. You are amazing getting everyones stuff in 2 suitcases! :worship: I'm Super impressed! Love hearing the Disney updates!

Susan-How are things going? Been thinking about you.

I have been a little behind this year however I spent some time and got all my Christmas cards addressed for next year so I can get them out with a picture and letter the first week of December.

Melanie (step daughter) Mother in law was here over Christmas and New Years. They all came to the house for dinner. Patty is quite a character, really nice but has a bad drinking problem. Really did enjoy here last April while in Florida for the wedding and on Christmas. She OD'ed Saturday and passed away. It was quite a shock. She was there for the delivery of Melanies baby. We spent New Years Eve with them which was the last time I saw her. Derek is in Florida now. Melanie couldnt go because the baby is so small. Derek is a wreck right now. Not sure if it was intentional yet or not.

We are taking Jazzy this afternoon to be put to sleep. He is struggling so much to breathe. Nothing has helped. My heart is broken.

Anna Marie will be working at the Liberty Inn in Epcot, complete with dress and bonnet!

(That is at the American pavilion,to the left of the American Adventure building if you are looking straight at it)She is so excited! She had 5 other roommates (2 per bedroom, each bedroom has their own bath). Her friend from BG is working merchandising at the Grand Floridian, the other 4 roommates are working Animal Kingdom safari ride, Comptemporary Resort in merchandising, another is Pooh bear, and the last one is working the "light carts" before and after parades and at night..... 3 of the roommates are from Ohio ( Anna Marie, Katie and Molly) the other 3 are from Arizona and 2 from Louisiana.

We will get a chance to take the kids over this afternoon to see where she lives and then after that, she isn't allowed to have visitors at the condos.

Well, that's it for right now. I'll be back later to give more of an update! maybe with pictures!

Jazzy has gone to join Shannon, Ty and Ollie over the Rainbow Bridge. :littleangel::sad::cat:
