No, the casinos won't be near us, but I just don't like that we will have gambling in Ohio. I have never gambled and have no desire to. We don't even play the lottery! Can't see spending my heard earned money on a chance. The two things NE Ohio has a lot of are golf courses and bars. They are everywhere!

Julie: Glad to hear all the kids are doing so well in school. Congrats to Makenzie on being student of the week!

Make that 11 bodies for the sicko. He is in the city of Cleveland. They have identified 1 person so far. It is scary. I hope they lock him up and throw away the key!!!!!!!!!!

My sinuses are all clogged this morning. I hope I am not getting sick. No time for that!

Good Morning
Thought I would stop in for a minute before I get my shower. Have a doctors appointment today to see if I get released to go back to work. Other then the annoying cough I am feeling pretty good. Bob and I even hiked up a mountain while we were in New Hampshire. I was dying the entire time but I was determined to make it. It took a long time with all the stops I had to make but it was so steep.

We had fun in New Hampshire caught the tail end of the leaves then got to help rake the yard only to have it filled up again in an hour.

Have not read the board yet but will this afternoon. My Mom told me everyone is booked on the maiden voyage I am going to look into that maybe we can get on too. Dont know where it is going or any other information but I am going to check it out!

Hey Barb. Welcome back. Walked up a steep mtn? WOW, I can't even do that healthy! The ones going on the MV is Heidi, Jeanne, Joyce, Bonnie, Sandy. Denine and Julie can't. Not sure about Susan.

Denine, we have more banks than bars thankfully. LOL Golf is huge here too but it doesn't seem to be overwhelming.

When where and how long is the cruise

Barb: Welcome back! Glad you are feeling better. The MV is a 4-day and then a 3 day cruise. We looked into it, but it costs more than we are paying for our 7 day next October! It costs twice as much as a 4-day we were looking at in February. I am not keen on those short cruises anyway. It is in January 2011.

I read somewhere that NE Ohio has more golf courses than many other places in the US. Don't know why!?

Barb - My mom and I are doing back to back cruises. The first is the 4 day Maiden Voyage on 1/26/11 - 1/30/11 and that is the one where my mom, the Dudettes and I are going. Then my mom and I are staying on for the next cruise which is also a 4 day from 1/30/11 - 2/03/11. Both cruises only go to Nassau and Castaway Cay, but I am not going for the ports, I am treating it as the ship is the destination.

Me, too Heidi. Four days isn't enough to explore the ship and that is why we are staying on. I am pretty excited for the B2B.

One week ago today, Heidi and Chris came over to help me shovel. Today it is 75. What a difference a week can make!

We are giving the Wii to each other for Christmas, we don't really need or want anything but to lose weight and tone up and fit into clothes we already have.

Such a tragedy in Ft. Hood.

Today is Friday! Supposed to be a nice weekend to get out an finish putting outdoor stuff away.

Denine, you will like Wii. We LOVE ours. I could have had you come over and try our Wii fit first before you buy yours. I love the yoga! Some of the exercises are pretty funny and you can work up a sweat.

This weekend since it will be nice, we are going to get the Christmas decorations for outside out and maybe some up. The lights don't go "ON" until the day after Thanksgiving, but if I can get them up now without it being so cold out, will be a plus.

Nothing too exciting going on around here. The only thing we have this weekend is Makenzie has a soccer game at 7am Sunday morning, but that is it. The Big Guy has a cub scout outing to Playhouse square on Sat. but I don't have to take him and it's not going to be that long.

Well, gonna run! Have to get Brooke and her friend from school lunch before they head out to school!

We picked up our Wii! They had a tester at Best Buy and I felt like a fool! LOL! They had it on bowling. Kaleigh picks it up and starts bowling. I pick it up and can't get my person to release the ball! I will get the hang of it.

We got as many perks as we could with the purchase: fuel perks from the grocery store for buying the best buy gift cards, plus 2 $10 off coupons for same grocery store. We get upromise for buying it online and disney credit card points.

Looking forward to trying it. I think Jerry is fussing with it now.

Denine, check back in. I can't wait to hear about your experiences with the Wii. Bowling is the easiest for me. Julie is right, you can work up a sweat with the Fit.

Julie, we use to do the same thing. See a nice weekend and put up the lights. We didn't turn them on until Dec 1 though. I am excited to put up my tree this year since we didn't have one last year.

It is suppose to be in the 80's today. All the windows and doors are wide open.

Hi all! Just got back from the hospital.... My brother , yes my BROTHER who is 43 had a heart attack today. He had 100% of his right artery blocked. They did remove a pretty good blood clot from there and put in a stint. He is also on a temp. pace maker and a "balloon pump" (what they called it) to help with the blood pumping through the heart. He will be in the hospital for 3-5 days IF everything goes OK.

Gotta love it!

Oh my goodness Julie. I am in shock. How horrible. Gosh, he's young! I hope everything goes good for the poor guy. Good grief. You just start settling back into normal life and then this happens.
