I am emotionally spent after this morning. Kaleigh was so scared and then instead of an injection, they put in an IV. She cried and cried through the whole thing. I ended up taking out her IV at then end cause she wouldn't let anyone else touch her.
She has had too many needle pokes and unknown experiences lately. I hope the painful stuff is over. None of us can take anymore.

I just want test results that tell us what is going on and how we can treat it.

We did go to the fair, which was ok, but Kaleigh seemed so sad much of the time. She did get to watch a chicken hatch. That was pretty neat.

I am j ust trying to chill, Kaleigh is watching a movie before she gets a bath and Jerry went up to Trader Joe's to exchange a bottle of wine we bought last night. It was leaking.

But now, I can't get either Farm Town or Farmville to load.

Good Morning!

Guess I skipped posting yesterday. To many things to do right when I get here.

Denine-How your kitty? Poor baby I hope the pain end soon for him. How is Kaleigh? How scary for her. I hope she gets better quick. You guys have so many fun things to do out east, Corn Festival sounds Awesome!

Susan-Very encouraging news about your friends son. Hope he continues to heal quickly.

Julie-How is your Dad holding up? Tell Garry I hope his back gets better. I forget did he fall or is it something else?

Sandy-Wow sound like you guys are having so much fun! I bet you miss the kids. How is Tyler doing? Have not heard any update for a while.

Not to much new with me. Working, farming, cleaning, farming, sleeping farming :teeth: I am into Yoville now. LOVE IT!

Ethan is loving preschool. Everyday I ask him if he had fun he says YES! then I ask him what he did and he tells me "I don't know" :lmao:

Have a great day!

Barb: Sounds like when Kaleigh was first in Sunday school. She could never tell us what they did.

I think Sandy said they would be home lat tomorrow evening. Hope they are having good travel weather.

The pain medicine is wearing off for Jazzy. He is hobbling around a bit more today and won't attempt stairs at all. The vet is tomorrow.

Kaleigh is having fun at grandma's. I have the rest of the afternoon to myself. Lots of farming to do.

1 - My neighbor had her twins yesterday, Abigail and Gabriel. They are so cute. Mom and babies all doing fine. I got to hold Gabriel today but Abigail was sound asleep on mommy's chest. Nice to see some in the hospital for a good thing for a change.

2 - My dad's bone scan is Friday and a CT scan of his chest, abdomen and pelvic area on Tuesday.

3 - My friend's nephew has had some improvement. He can wave his hand and roll his eyes. He may get moved down from ICU Friday if he does not have a set back. Apparently with this kind of head injury they can have lucid moments and then be unresponsive. He's gone back and forth a couple of time. His jaw is wired shut and they have some kind of mechanical device on his leg.

4 - Stanley, our dog, somehow sprained his right rear "knee". The vet has him on pain meds and he should start improving. He doesn't think it is a torn ACL. If he gets worse we have to bring him back for xrays.

So, that's my news.

Denine - when do you get results from Kaleigh's tests? Hope all is good.

Julie - waiting on an update on Garry's back. Hope all is ok there too.

Barb - I have had to hire out most of my harvesting and plowing. Need them to allow me to hire to plant (LOL). Your famrs look amazing. I'm not even going to get started on Yoville. I just don't have the time.

Hope Sandy and Heidi will besafe traveling home. Can't wait for a trip report.

Love to all!!!

Good Morning

I am on hold while a rep talks to her customer so I have a few minutes. Humm trying to think of anything new but there really isnt anything to report.

Susan-How fun it is going to be to have twins living next door! Sounds like you friends son is still improving. Poor puppy!

Denine-How is Kaleigh? give her a  for me.

Susan: Glad to hear mommy and babies are doing well! Poor Stanley! Prayers for your dad. Good to hear about your friend's son.

Off to the vet with Jazzy this afternoon. He didn't do well yesterday. He had a nother episode of heart pain, 2 in 1 week, and last night he was having a hard time breathing. I gave him an extra lasix and that helped. He needs some actual heart medicine to help with the pumping action to clear the fluid out of his lungs. He got wore out eating his breakfast this morning.

I don't expect to hear any results from Kaleigh's tests until next week some time. Otherwise, she feels fine!

Kaleigh had fun at grandma's yesterday. She is down the street playing with her friends now.

I have laundry in the wash.

Tomorrow is the ending library program.

I can't take anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jazzy was doing quiet poorly today with the shortness of breath (SOB) and chest pain.

We made it to the vet, did x-rays and the vet thought he had cancer in his lungs which spread to the bones causing all his pain. She sent the xrays to the radiologist for confirmation. We already heard back and it isn't cancer, it is a large build-up of fluid. We are doubling his lasix dose and giving him tramadol for the pain. She isn't sure why he is having the pain in his hips.
We will see how he does over the weekend. He is zoning right now with the pain medicine.

Plus they called with Kaleigh's CAT scan results but we were not home, so I won't find that out till tomorrow morning.

Let me be the first to welcome home the "Happy Campers"!!! I can't wait to see pictures and get a trip report. Need some good news!!

Julie: I know you are going through a lot right now, but that does not give you the right to belittle what I have been going through.

Where is everyone?

We got the results of Kaleigh's CAT scan back and the pneumonia is resolving. She doesn't have to be on nay more meds but she has to go back for another chest x-ray in 3 months. So, some good news for a change. Now we wait for the blood work r/t the tonsils. Maybe they have something to do with the pneumonia still, I don't know.

Jazzy had an interesting night with his new pain med. He was off in his own magical world. :hippie: His pupils are completely dilated. He decided to run down the stairs last night, this when he hasn't been able to do them at all!

We will see how the weekend goes with the extra lasix and new pain meds.

Supposed to be nice and warm this weekend, but we will probably have to put the AC on for Jazz.

Kaleigh had her ending library program this morning. The entertainer was OK and the kids enjoyed her but I thought she was really annoying. Why do kids entertainers have to talk like they are speaking to preschoolers all the time?

Julie: When are they going to do your dads surgery or do they need to pump him full of antibiotics first?

Hello everyone!

Just a quickie. We got home yesterday, tired and needing showers. We have soooo much to do. We are at the campground right now dropping off the trailer at Stacey's. It was great seeing them. The kids truly missed us.

Will tell you more about the trip later.

Hope everyone is doing better since the last time I checked in.

Hugs to all.

My update:

My friend's nephew has been improving and they are moving him to a long term rehab hospital. He has a long, long road ahead but he is at least not in ICU at the hospital. That has got to be an improvement.

My neighbor and the new babies are home from the hospital. They have lots of company so I didn't go over today. I'm going to take dinner to them tomorrow. Need to get my hands on them.

Went shopping today and bought some things at Coldwater Creek. I just love their clothes. I also bought a new pair of shoes.

Stanley's knee is better so I guess we got lucky that it wasn't a torn ACL:woohoo:.

Heading to Florida Labor Day weekend for my niece's baby shower. Paul will be working in southern Georgia and northern Florida that week so Turner and I will fly into Melbourne. We'll all drive back on Monday. I hate going that close and not getting to go see Mickey or get on the boat!

Glad you guys are back safely from your trip. Glad you got to see the kids today. Can't wait to hear about the trip. We need to hear some good stuff around here.

Ta-Ta for now.

Happy Sunday!

GOt to get stuff done....Got to get stuff done....Got to get stuff done....

K I think posting counts as getting stuff done! Went to water aerobics yesterday. Meeting Jason & Michelle in Denver for dinner tonight. GOING TO GET SOME CLEANING DONE!!! Got some farming & Yoville one

Welcome Back Heidi & Sandy!! I missed you!

Denine-How is Jazzy? Poor kitty:hug: Hope the meds help soon. How is Kaleigh? Bet she is ready to start school! Can't wait to see you guys again!

Barb - you have really made my day. Thank you. I am so glad tp be back, even though you guys got me addicted to farming;).

:grouphug:to all

Oh wow, BARB POSTED ON A SUNDAY!!! You and your water aerobics make me feel terribly guilty especially after this vacation. I know I gained and gained some more even though we pretty much hiked a few miles each day. Hopefully, I can blame my thyroid. Ya, right.

Susan, you can't blame ME for your farming!

Just wanted to stop in for a quick Hi. Trying to catch up on everything and then we can get started on a trip report! I did upload pictures on facebook if anyone wants to see some pics. Back to work tomorrow. I already talked with a coworker and found out none of my work was done so it is going to be a crazy week to get caught back up.

Susan - I am glad your friend's nephew is doing a little better. What a scary and sad thing to go through. I hope this makes Turner realize how serious driving is. I will keep your dad in my prayers.

Denine - Poor Jazzy and Kaleigh. I hope they heal soon and I hope all your stress will end soon and be a happy ending.

Julie - your dad is in my prayers too. When does he go into surgery? Thanks for the voicemail, I got it after we left Canada!

Barb - I hope your friend is doing better and how sad for your coworker and her family. Any news on how the mom is doing? How was dinner? Where did you go to eat? Happy Belated Birthday to Bob. How is Ethan liking school? How is Jaymee doing? Tiffany start back to school yet? How is the adorable Kara?

Back to work again! Everyone at work has swarmed me and I can't even begin to get caught up because they all want to talk! lol
