I know Heidi. I would be crying, too. I honestly think that I would be considering the alternative unfortunately.

I'm here. Had to go get a few more supplies for Turner after his first day of school yesterday. I also had to buy a new router and set it up. I didn't get on til late and I posted a quick message but it looks like I lost it and it didn't post.:confused3

I didn't get to bed til 11:00 last night and had to get up at 5:30. So, I guess I won't be on very long today either. I did get some farming done.:thumbsup2

I'll be checking back in tomorrow and over the weekend.

Later - LYMI

Bet you're tired!

TGIF!!!!!! Yay, we made it to Friday! Tonight I am taking my friend out for her birthday and Chris is picking up the girls. Not sure what we will be doing this weekend. Once the girls figure out that their friends are down at the campground, I am sure they will want to go down there.

Emily is doing Volleyball at school now, her first practice is tonight. She is also in student leadership and she said she is scared because they have to put on an assembly. To get on student leadership, you have to be nominated by a teacher. Amanda is taking dance. I am glad she got in because that is a very popular elective at their school and she loves to dance. Emily and Amanda have all their core classes together and their lockers are right next to each other, Emily does not like that! I am surprised since the schools did everything in their power not to put Stacey and I in the same classes. At least Homework will be easier as they can help each other!

Heidi, Hailey and Brooke pulled out last Sunday. OH,OH,OH, I forgot. Oatie's 80th birthday party is Saturday 2-5 at the campground. Sounds good for the girls.

I got an email from Sally. They are headed to the Panama Canal with Patti the end of Sept. Good for them! Dick is doing about the same. And Sally????? You guys know Sally. Cleaning, gardening and scrapbooking!

I've got a slight headache today. Yuck.

Mom - Wow, you mean tomorrow is Oatie's Birthday party? When and how did you find this out? Guess we will be down there now. Talk about quick notice! Stacey said that Dean is coming back in on Friday. So, see you tomorrow. lol Who is throwing the party? The kids and grandkids?

I am sorry Heidi. I have known for awhile that the family was plannning one on a certain date. I was told at a bonfire when Tyler was doing horribly. One of the worst days for him this summer. Anyway, I didn't absorb what Donnelle had said. Yesterday, I asked Stacey what the plans were and voila, now we both know.

Glad I know now, I would have felt terrible if I would have missed it. I just called and told Chris I know what our plans for tomorrow are!

TGIF!

Jazzy seems more social today and actually made it up the steps!

Only supposed to be 70 this weekend. YUCK! I guess summer is over. It was nice while it lasted, even though it was painfully short.

I did a lot of cooking yesterday afternoon. I was beat afterward.

Panama Canal sounds nice!

First week of school is over. We are going to do our best to get 5 days in a week instead of 4 and sometimes 5. Kaleigh had a substitute teacher today! :goodvibes

Probably going for a walk soon.

:confused3This is crazy Denine, but I got an email that you posted and what it said but it isn't showing up here.:confused3

Wow, you have to explain the substitute teacher thing for me. I don't get it. Our neighbor is now home schooling for the reason that they can now travel and she won't have to drive him to school. He is in 7th or 8th. That is totally crazy. We have a bus right here in the neighborhood. Oh and she said that the school is too crowded. All for the wrong reasons. I could clobber that woman. Good grief. Poor Josh needs socialization. He is extremely shy and awkward. They are from Romania and he lives with mom and dad and "ill" grandparents. When he was young, he demanded that they talk to him in English. I admired him for that. Glad that Jazzy is getting better. Hot here for the weekend. 90's. We haven't seen very many 90 degree days this summer and I am loving every minute of it. LOVING IT! Now this winter if the trend keeps going, I might have something else to say!:rotfl2:

Heidi, I sent off for the blanket and it isn't yours. It is like the girls. I will give your dad the option to keep or return.

Getting ready to leave. Adios!

Hi everyone. I spent most of yesterday either shopping or at the ice rink for the season kick off. Turner had to be there from 4:00-10:00!!

I didn't buy a lot but I did get some new lingerie and a few shirts. I really need work clothes but that is for another time I guess. I also bought some more cute things for the twins next door. I just can't resist.:goodvibes

Turner has been at Hailey's most of the day. I need to go get him soon since it is a school night.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Later!

Hi Susan, sure wish you were my neighbor when the girls were born!!! WOW, that's a long time for Turner to be at the ice rink but I bet he didn't care. Does he live and breathe hockey like my nephew and baseball?

It's HOT.

Had a good weekend. Friday night was Happy Hour with my friend and then we went and saw the Ugly Truth which was pretty funny. Saturday we went to my Grandma Oatie's 80th Birthday party, and then on Sunday we took the girls to see Shorts and then I helped Emily practice volleyball. OMG, I am such a wimp...my body aches today from an afternoon of volleyball! Of course the girls would alternate with breaks and I didn't get any! I am not use to running and diving that much, lol. It's about time summer showed up in CO, this weekend was Hot!

Susan - wow, that is a long time at the ice rink! If I were Turner, I wouldn't be able to walk the next day, lol.

Sorry I didn't post this weekend. Nothing was going on and it was sooo crummy out that I was in a grumpy mood anyway. The sun fianlly came out this morning.

Jerry was Kaleigh's teacher on Friday since I was working. We said she had a substitute. Sandy, you are right, those are the wrong reasons for homeschooling. Traveling when you want is a perk, not a reason, neither is not having to drive someone to school. Doing this takes a lot of dedication, espeically on days when neither of you feel like doing it. I know Julie does a lot with the schools for her kids and that takes dedication too. You just have to know what is right for you and do it for the right reasons.

Heidi: I would be stiff and sore too.

Susan: I am guessing Turner loved being at the rink all that time!

Ah gee Denine. Sorry you were in a grumpy mood. You could have had our 98 degree day!! Happy you posted today. I was afraid that I stepped on your toes about home schooling. Glad that you see her home schooling is for the wrong reasons. Jerry as a substitute, I get it now. HOW CUTE!
