Julie, sorry about Garry's back. It just seems that once you get an injury it is so easy to do it again. Then G-Dog. Good grief. Mono, strep, both NOT fun! Bless his heart. He is suppose to be having fun in the summer. Sorry about your dad! And then there's you trying to keep everyone going. Hang in there.

Denine, Julie really has a point about that dust getting kicked up whether she is playing or not. You might just have to be big and strong and tell her that her health is more important at this point. Never easy!

Julie: The dust may be causing more coughing, but her tonsils are still so swollen. We only have to get through 1 more game. Hope the 2 Garry's get to feeling better. Sorry to hear about your dad. Sending pixie dust your way for everyone. :wizard:

My foot is finally feeling better. Only hurts a little now.

Sandy: Glad to hear your foot is doing better.

Oh and we have a ton of honey bees in the yard, but they are mostly on the flowers. I must have found the one in the yard. So not my fault!

Stanley is a little better today and he got to have "some" food. He really wants more than I can give him. If all goes well tonight he can have full meal tomorrow.

Pixie Dust and hugs to so many of my friends here. I hate to hear about all the sickness and injuries. Everyone get well soon. :wizard: :grouphug:

Did a little farming. I have to admit it - I got Turner hooked now and he also did some farming for me while I was at work today. I guess addictions do tend to run in families;).

Barb, need an update about the movie. Hope you had a great time. Funny - you and Heidi texting while you were in line:rotfl:.

Heading to bed.

Goodnight!:flower3:

I think Barb must have slept through the day, I wonder how her farm is doing! lol

We went and saw the Proposal last night. It was a cute movie. Today is my Friday, so glad I can sleep in tomorrow! Chris feels a little better today so that is good.

Julie: HOw do you do it, live in constant chaos and survive?

Now I have to worry about Jazzy again. He and Hera were running around playing last night and he started crying. He was also panting and breathing hard. Classic heart signs. Gotta do some research to see what we can do for him.

Susan: Glad to hear Stanley is doing a bit better.

Kaleigh's last game is tonight. She is not happy, but what can you do?

I work tomorrow.

We have an Indian's game on Sunday. It is the baseball boosters day at the ballpark. Only going to be a whopping 73 degrees.

I am so glad for global warming. If we didn't have it, it might be snowing!

Heidi: ENjoy your weekend.

We would love to go to dinner and a movie, but not until Kaleigh is well again. I don't want to saddle a babysitter with the responsibility.

Hi guys! Well back from the eye doctor and G dog does need glasses. We ordered them and they should be here next week.

Well, plans changed today. I was suppose to take my dad to his foot dr. appointment this afternoon and then had a meeting with the skilled nursing facility about his progress BUT he is now going to be admitted into the hospital this afternoon. His leg is the worst it's been in a long time and they need heavy duty meds and continuous watch of it. We pretty much know what's coming:sad2:. NICE! Tomorrow I had to take him to the endocrinologist appointment ( they found a small growth on his thyroid when they did a CAT scan, they didn't think it was anything, just playing it safe) BUT now that is off but I still have Makenzie's teeth cleaning tomorrow at 4pm. SO our life around here isn't letting up at all! Garry is still miserable but he is trying to work some of the day through the pain. He doesn't want to take meds while he's at work (for obvious reasons) but he is paying for it! We have a wedding on Saturday to go to. It's our friend's. who retired from the station, daughter who is getting married. We are trying to get Anna Marie for at least Saturday so we can go to the wedding, otherwise I don't think we can go because we don't have any babysitters around here, and my mom isn't 100% yet to watch them.

Susan, got your email with your itinerary. I will get in touch with you so maybe we can still meet. I will have to play it by ear right now.

Heidi, how nice today is your friday! What was wrong with Chris? Did I miss a post?

Sandy, what's with this on facebook about Jeanne moving to Australia?

Barb, I want to know about the movie!!! Details!

Denine, Kaleigh, Jazz, a baseball tonight, work tomorrow, and baseball on sunday... busy busy busy! I know what you mean....Dinner and a movie... what's that? LOL!!!!!!!

Well, gonna try and vacuum the house and pick it up before we have to go to the hospital.

Julie - Oh no, I was hoping things would get better for you. Chris has been sick for the last 2 days. Yesterday he diagnosed himself as having Swine Flu due to the research he did on the internet but today he is about 80% better. He called and sounds much better, I just hope he doesn't overdo it. Jeanne is moving to Australia? That is a new one for me, I thought she bought a house in Florida that she is going to retire at.

Heidi: That's what I thought, but her post said she is moving to Australia and nothing else!

Julie: I am so sorry about your dad. If Kaleigh was feeling better, we could babysit for you, but she isn't going to be well enough yet. Let me know if you need anything or just want to talk.

Got an appointment for 3 pm for Jazz. Then home, quick dinner and then ball game. Sounds like he has a common form of heart disease, treatable, but not curable. Our cat Shannon had it and we bought her a year with meds until her kidneys failed. Unfortunately it is not our regular vet. Can't see her until next Wednesday. Hope this one will prescribe meds without tests, cause we can't afford tests.

Well I've got news.......Ted and I traded the Suburban in and got a 2009 Toyota Hybrid Highlander. :cool1::banana::dance3:I'm loving it!

Julie, I hope everything works out for your dad. He will be in my thoughts and prayers, I promise. Do you ever sleep???? I sure can understand Garry not taking anything while at work but OMG that man must be hurting.

Denine, poor, poor Jazzy. When it rains it pours!

Susan, I think it is so cool that you now have Turner to be a foreman on your farm. LOL Too cute. Addictions run in the family.....:lmao:

It was a great movie last night. And then to sit around on a restaurant patio afterwards was so relaxing.

I picked up a message from the doctor that my thyroid TSH levels have gone up higher since being on meds so they are upping it. She didn't say anything about my liver. I am anxious to get the level on that.

Barb must be exhausted.

Back from the vet. She put Jazzy on lasix. She wanted to run $400 worth of tests, but we just can't afford it. She wants to see him in a week and then maybe we can do 1 or 2 of the tests. Will pick up the lasix tomorrow afternoon at Target.

Sandy: A new car, cool! Sure wish we could do that with Jerry's car.

Leaving soon for the ballgame.

Be back tomorrow afternoon, maybe.

We might go to Cedar Point tomorrow evening depending on how Kaleigh is.

Looks like I need to get the lasix at the vet tomorrow, target doesn't have that dose. It is more expensive at the vet of course.

Kaleigh was soo quiet all the way to and from the vet and at the vet. That is just not like her. She still has no appetite.

Where is everyone?

Bad news: Kaleigh has pneumonia according to the chest x-ray.
Good news: With the new atb, her tonsil is slightly smaller.

more good news: Kaleigh was playing pitcher position last night, the kid hit the ball and she caught it for an out and almost turned it into a double play! In the 7 games Kaleigh got to play, no one on either team has ever caught the ball for an out until last night. :cool1::cool1::banana::banana:

Kaleigh has to go back for a repeat x-ray in 14 days.

No Cedar Point tonight, crummy weather anyway. I think we are going to Amish tomorrow. Only gonna be 69 so this will be good. Very low key activity plus I need a ton of stuff from there. I get flour and spices and stuff like that there.

Got Jazzy started on his lasix. A whole 3 mg! I am used to giving 40 mg. I have one guy who takes 80mg and another 80mg if his weight is more than 2 lbs over his base weight.

OMG Denine. Pneumonia? I hate hearing that. I sure hope that the 69 degree day doesn't make it worse for the poor thing. I can't imagine how in the world she was able to play tball with it. Bless her little heart!

Julie, sending prayers and pixie dust to your dad and your family. I can't even imagine what he is going through.

Susan, yippee, glad that Stanley is doing better.

We are at the campground. Halloween weekend as I said earlier. Richard always makes a haunted house and I mean it is soooo professional. Awesome job! Trick or treating and hayride tomorrow. First weekend of the summer that we haven't gotten rain. Seems strange to be outside this weekend. LOL

Hugs to all.

Sandy: Enjoy your weekend.

We decided not to go to Amish since we are going to be gone all day tomorrow with the Indian's game. We really want to go on a weekday anyway.

I don't know how Kaleigh played through the pneumonia except through pure determination. She doesn't act like someone with pneumonia although she just hasn't been herself. Must be walking pneumonia.

I feel so bad for Kaleigh. She must be pushing herself and that can't be good for her. I would think over doing it could make for a very long recovery.

Trick or treat day. Yippee!

Our internet has been in and out for the last couple of days. I couldn't get on to post when I was home. EVen an entire farm of crops went to waste:headache:.

Still sending lots of pixie dust to all my friends and their family - yes I mean all of you!!

We are having some of the best weather today and tomorrow - low 80s and low humidity. That just doesn't happen in mid July around here! Tonight they are calling for a record low of 59, the old record was 61.

Doing my cleaning and :laundy:!!!

Hopefully, I'll be back on a little later.

Everyone go rest, relax and get everyone better!!! That's an order!!!
:grouphug:

Sitting around doing nothing. Man, this is heaven. Ted and Heidi are working the haunted house and Stacey is going to go through it soon and then I will watch the kids.

Wow, Susan. Nice weather for YOU! It is even "cool" here. We ran to Taco Bell at 11:00am and it was only 68. Sorry about your crops. What happens when they dry out?

Denine, how's Kaleigh doing today? I think you made a wise choice to stay home. Gives her a day of rest.

Chris is doing better now.

Tyler is having it rough since the carmel corn. Stacey is fasting him today. Last time that pulled him out pretty good.

Oops, think they are here now. Bye

Sandy - Wasted crops means replowing and replanting and the lost coins for the first seeds. Like you really care!!!:rotfl2:If you go look at your own farm you will see what wasted crops look like.

All the laundry is done. Didn't I just say that a few days ago?

The haunted house sounds like fun.

Denine - Sorry Amish didn't work out. Hope Kaleigh is resting today (and you too).

Still missing Barb. Where are you, Barb?

Yesterday was the perfect weather for painting outside. So, we painted all 18 shutters, the front door and the part around the door and above the 4 bottom windows. The area around the garage door needs to be done still, but everything looks AMAZING!

Kaleigh mostly hung around us. She was upset cause she couldn't go play with her friends.

We are off to the ball game today.

Enjoy everyone!

Nice relaxing day today. It is just beautiful outside.

I've been reading on the deck most of the day. Come in for a little farming and back out I go.

Hope everyone's having a great day!

No Susan, you have it backwards.....you go OUTSIDE to farm. Silly girl!

Denine, I am soooo jealous. We need to paint the garage door, front door and downspouts to match the vinyl siding. Maybe it's aluminum, can't remember.

Stacey is checking into getting an epilepsy dog for Tyler but he might have to be 10 before he qualifies.

I'll have to send Heidi some trick or treat pictures from this weekend for her to post.
