Susan: Glad your dad had a good night. Yeah, those TED hose are a pain to get on.

I thought the Lauter's were coming home today too.

We went to the Garden Show. It was nice to get out and smell some spring flowers, but there weren't nearly enough gardens. It was mostly vendors. I picked up a bunch of brochures to dream over.

It is a miserable day with rain and dark clouds.

I miss Jasper.

Jerry and Kaleigh had a nice time at the dance. Kaleigh was thinking is was going to be fancy like a ball during Williamsburg times. She got a rude awakening! Jerry said there was a ton of food. Kaleigh did get to be with her friend Amara, so she was happy. She was exhausted when they got home. I need Jerry to post pictures. I enjoyed my time alone last night!

Hey, Denine. Just us today. I can't wait to see the dance pictures.

Dinner was great. Not much going on here. Just watching the football game.

Back to work tomorrow. In the afternoon I will go to my Dad's when the hospice nurse comes out.

Miss you guys.

:grouphug:

Gee, where is everyone?

Another gloomy day; rain changing to snow.

Just doing school and then grocery shopping after dinner.

No football watching in our house.

We did work on getting pictures into albums last night. We had pictures going back to Christmas '08.

Susan - Glad one of the tough decisions is over with and that your dad was able to make it instead of you. Good news that he slept good for one night. Hang in there. We are thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers. Sorry about the Vikings game. It was a really good game.

Denine - I love the Garden Show that comes here but we have noticed that it is now more booths than actual gardens so we stopped going. I use to love going to that show. Sorry about your weather, thankfully CO has a lot of sunny days in the winter.

Julie - How exciting that Anna Marie was welcomed the way she was in Epcot. How special for her and for you guys. I hope she really enjoys her job and that her and her roomate continue to get a long great.

Barb - How was your weekend?

My weekend was a good one. Friday we got together with my parents and had dinner and looked at all the pictures we took in Mexico, had many good laughs again. Saturday I spent it all day with my best friend and we had a lot of fun. Then on Sunday I spent the day doing laundry, budget and reading my book. Usually I am not a big reader but I started reading the Twilight saga while on vacation. In 2 weeks I have read 3 of the 4 books. That is not me, usually I get bored after halfway through the book. I am just so addicted to this series.

Morning guys,

I think I am having a heart attack. I just saw that Susan posted three times in one day. LOL

I'm headed to the doctor today. My right arm and shoulder has been hurting since before our trip. I decided that enough is enough. It doesn't seem to get any better. I wonder if it has anything to do with this laptop and me sitting on the couch using it the last couple of years.

Memo to self.....never go to a doctor in pain. You come back ten times more in pain. I just want to cry I hurt so bad. He gave me pain killers and muscle relaxers. If I'm not better by the end of the week then we will do something else. I might not get on here as much this week since using the computer seems to aggravate it.

Heidi, our surprise from Bonnie is here. Also, I was reading a magazine at the doctor's office and came upon a suggested website for Photo shop tutorial. It is: Lynda.com.

Didn't mean to give Sandy a heart attack. But, here I am again!!!

Heidi - I loved the Twilight series. I never thought I would have liked those books that much. I did not like the Twilight movie and haven't see New Moon. Movies are never as good as the books.

Sandy - have you considered a chiropractor. I just started going to one last year and I just LOVE Dr. Chad. I am a true believer now. Turner and I both go about once a month. Sometimes he goes more if the hockey schedule has been rough on him.

Denine - We went through some pictures at my Dad's this weekend. He has so many and they are just in boxes - never made it to an album.

They started my dad on lasix today. The swelling is worse and they hear a little rattle in his lungs. He is still in a good mood.

Enough from me. Everyone have a great evening.

Love you all.

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Susan - I loved the movies, but then again I watched them before I read the books. Now that I am reading the books I can totally tell why you would not like the movies, the books ARE so much better. But then again the movie is already almost 3 hours and to add all the details it would be way to long of a movie!

Mom - How are you feeling today? Are you still sore? See you tonight after I let Sable out. I also have to go to Kings Soopers to pick up some 2 Liter of pops for our birthday celebration at work tomorrow.

Sandy: Sorry to hear you are in pain. I hope the meds help. If nothing else, you may feel a little loopy! :lmao:

Susan: I hope the lasix helps.

The sun is actually in and out this morning. I really need the sun.

Jerry is making the rest of our ressies for October today. Can't wait to get on the Magic!

Dinner is chicken pasta primavera. It is supposed to be shrimp but I am the only one that will eat shrimp in my house. 8 points.

We went to Heinen's last night (our fancy grocery store) since they had a bunch of stuff 10 for $10. They also have a very nice wine section. Anyway, when we walked in the door, they were advertising wine that is normally $130 a bottle for $20 each!!!! The lady explained that they were able to buy from the maker for pennies on the dollar. We don't normally buy $20 wine to drink on an everyday basis, but we bought 2 bottles. I will have one for Valentine's Day. She said they have gone through 80 cases so far. People taste it and then come back to buy a case! We won't be doing that, but it is a great bargain!

Denine, great buy on that wine! We still can't buy liquor in our grocery stores and I'm fine with it.

Susan, WOW, you love giving me those heart attacks. Some friend you are.....LOL I like your idea of a chiropractor. The drugs seem to be helping. Driving is a different story though. It hurts just to sit. If I'm not better by Friday I will bring that up with my doctor. Thanks!

Heidi, Sable is welcome here. If it is too much for you for tonight, we CAN put it off. No problems!!! I'm sure that Itunes will keep it around for awhile. I was just in a panic when I wrote you that email. Justin Timberlake and ?? sang a beautiful version of Hallelujah. I just loved it. I have calmed down now. LOL

Where's Barb and Julie?

Denine - What a great deal. If I liked wine, I probably would have bought a case too!

It is suppose to snow today, 1-3 inches and then another 2 inches tomorrow. I hope it snows a foot up in the mountains because we are going skiing on Friday!

The sun us shining! I don't know for how long, but at least it is out.

Sandy: You can't buy hard liquor in the gorcery store, but you can buy wine.

Looking foward to next weekend. We are going to Wright Patterson Air Force Base for the weekend to see the museum and some Imax movies and swim. It is in Dayton, so about 3 hours from here?

Where are Barb and Julie?

Susan:

Good Morning!

Sorry I have not posted in a few days. Went home Monday with the FLU! can you believe it. AGAIN. Grrrrr Good thing is I was better by Tuesday and was able to go to water aerobics last night.

Going to a funeral today for a good friend of mines Dad. Feel so bad for her. :sad1:

Nice and sunny here today too. May get some snow tonight and tomorrow though BOO! Bob and I actually been talking about different places to move. Before he would not even consider it but now he is thinking about it too.

Better get back to work just wanted to post before I leave. More later

Hi guys! We did come home on Sunday, but we had a late flight (we left at 7:20PM) So we did go over to EPCOT before the flight so we got to see Anna Marie working. We didn't leave for the airport til about 5:40-5:45pm. It's nice to fly continental because 1. it was a non stop flight 2.you can check in for your flight at the resorts PLUS 3.they check your luggage and take it to the airport for you, SO we had our boarding passes and no luggage, so it was pretty easy. Going through security wasn't too bad, they had a huge line but it went pretty fast and we made it before the first boarding call. Plus we thought, what's the worst thing... etting stuck in Florida for another evening... LOL! I always panic on travel day, but Garry always tell me to chill and everything will work out, and it always does.

Garry and posted some pictures on Facebook with Anna Marie in her costume so I hope you guys can see them.

Denine, are you going to Dayton THIS weekend (Jan 30) or NEXT week, the first week in Feb?

Sandy, some grocery stores still sell some liquor, but it has to be under a certain proof... I know they sell Kahlua, cream de mint, and stuff like that, but usually the stores like to "brag" about their wine selection.

Well, the kids are all back at school and Garry went back to work, it's like we never left. The kids get their report cards this friday. Makenzie is graduating from D.A.R.E. program on Friday too. ( that is our Drug program through the schools... it is REALLY good!!) The kids didn't miss a beat when it came to school work. All the teachers gave the kids their work and said if you do some you do, if not don't worry about it and we can do it when you come back. BUT all the kids had their work done ( Brooke before we left Ohio.. LOL) and the other two did theirs when we had down time in the evenings before they went to bed.

Susan, hugs to you! Been thinking about you!

Heidi, have a great time skiing.

Barb, Hi! Where would you move to?

Well gotta run. I have make sure Brooke has everything for school.

Be Back Later!

Julie: We are going the first weekend in Feb. (Friday through Sunday) I will have to scrounge up those pictures of Anna Marie!

Kaleigh was finally able to go down the street to play with her friends. I get a little peace and quiet.

Barb - Oh my gosh, the flu again. You poor thing. I hope you are feeling better. I love CO so I will never move even though I always say I am moving to FL!

Denine - Sounds like a fun weekend trip.

Julie - Can't wait to get on to FB so I can see the pictures Gary posted. We had D.A.R.E. in either 5th or 6th grade, but I don't think they do that anymore. I still remember the song they taught us for the graduation! Chris is just like you when traveling, he gets so anxious and panicks until we get to the gate and then he chills out.

Second time typing this up.

Julie, what an awesome final day at WDW. So nice that you didn't have to worry about luggage!:thumbsup2

Barb, I was worried about you. Sorry you were sick. Move? Are you crazy?:rotfl:

Denine, I remember the hour or so of silence when the girls would play across the street. It was always a nice break. Sounds bad though:rolleyes1. Sorry Heidi!:rotfl2:

Headed to get my hair cut. I am keeping it long. It is nice to be able to pull it back and not worry about curls and frizz in MX and cruises. I also don't have to worry about others unwanted and unsolicited comments. :lmao: You know this guy....:scared1:......I look like him when his hair is standing up but I look like that the entire vacation.:sad2:

Julie: We are going the first weekend in Feb. (Friday through Sunday)

I was hoping you were gonna say this weekend.:guilty: We are having G Dog's Birthday party that Saturday the 6th.:sad1: Since his birthday is on that Friday, we figured we could have it the next day and it would be ok for everyone. We were thinking about having a mini super bowl party on that Sunday, but I know you guys don't like football plus you would be coming home from a weekend trip and no one likes to have to go somewhere right after a vacation (no matter how short it is!). Oh well, we might get to see you later on in the month.:sad2: On another note.... any girl scout cookies this year?

I think if you just go to photos under Garry or my name, you can see the pictures. There are more, we just put a few on facebook.

Well gonna run! We have the Cub Scout's Pine wood derby tonight! Let go G Dog!!!!!!!

Have a great evening everyone!

TTFN

Good morning. We only got a dusting of snow, hoping the mountains got more than us! This has been such a weird winter weatherwise. Chris's niece said it got cold in South Florida again.
