Denine- I am sooo sorry. I know how much Jazzy meant to you. I wish I could be there to give you a hug in person. :sad1:

:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:

Denine, I am sooooooooo sorry. I know your heart is broken but Jazzy is in a better place. Jazzy was a real trooper the last few months.

Julie, how interesting about Anna Marie and the others. I want pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barb, how sad about Melanie's mother in law.

Spent most of the day with Stacey. It was fun. Finished up on my Lemoncello. Mmmmmm. I think it's pretty good if I say so myself.

Denine, sorry to hear about Jazzy, but he is in a better place now. Plus, look at it this way, he gave you an extra year because it was this time last year when the vet told you he didn't have much time.

Well, Anna Marie is all moved in and is getting along great with her roommates. She had to dye her hair because it wasn't Disney approved!:lmao: She had more then 1 color (so they said) in her hair and that her "highlights" were not natural, so she and 1 of the other roommies had to dye their hair. We will see what her hair looks like tomorrow. Her roommie who had to dye her hair did it when we went to dinner. It looked pretty good. Anna Marie was going to do her's tonight. She also had to have her nails measured to make sure they weren't any longer the 1/4 of an inch. BOY do they mean business! BUT we were VERY impressed with the security at her condo. They don't let anyone on OR off the property without showing their cast member ID. There were about 5 security guards at the guard house. Even though I had a 1 day parking pass, they stopped me everytime I came in or out of the complex. Anna Marie had to show her ID everytime too. EVEN if she was walking! Very Very cool!

Well gonna go. I'll be back later!

Good Morning!

Julie-WOW I had no idea that Disney was that strict!

Denine-How you doing? How is Kaleigh?

Not much to say today. Not much new. Villa tonight. Will check in later

Good morning! Back to work. It was rough getting up this morning as I was just getting use to sleeping in!

Denine -   I am so so sorry about Jazzy. I hope the pain is replaced by happy memories soon. Thankfully he is not suffering any more.:hug::hug:

Susan - Did you make it to Florida? Are you feeling better? Thinking about you.

Barb - Oh my goodness, poor Ethan! Was he playing around when he smacked into the wall? Poor guy. How is his bruise doing? How is he liking school? That is so sad about Melanie's MIL. Have they found out if it was officially an overdose? My prayers with the family, that would be so hard to deal with.

Julie - Wow, high security...that is great news they are so thorough. That is a lot of girls in one condo, hopefully they continue to get a long. How long is she staying there for? Did you take any pictures that you could share with us? I knew Disney was pretty strict, but I found it kinda crazy that they measured her finger nails!!!! I had no idea they had to be below a certain length. Did her hair have to be above a certain length too? What color did she have to dye her hair? Glad the weather is good for you!!! I am so impressed that you packed your family up in 2 suitcases, you must be a pro!!!! For Mexico we had 2 suitcases for the 2 of us!

Our vacation was great and counting down the days before we can go again!!! Next year will be the cruise on the Dream, so hopefully the year after we can go back!!!! I will do a trip report with pictures when I get a chance. Probably will be more pictures than anything!

Thank you everyone. It means a lot to me. Our pets are part of our family and are like our children. I know we got the extra year with him and we are very greatful for that. None of us slept well last night. Kaleigh woke up in the night with a tummy ache. Jerry is working from home today. He didn't feel like going in plus we had some freezing drizzle so everything was icy. I know that what we did was the fright thing but it was sooo hard.

Julie: That is amazing security!!! At least you and Garry will feel better about her safety down there. They measure her fingenails?!?!? You will have to post pictures.

Barb: That is so sad about Melanie's MIL.

Sandy/Heidi: Sounds like you had a great time even though the first day was rained out. Limoncello and I don't get along.

It is another cloudy, yucky day. They said on the radio that yesterday was the most depressing day of the year, how fitting!

Susan: How are you?

Denine - I can so relate. Our animals are a big part of the family too. I can't even go with Chris to drop off Sable at my uncle's house before vacation because it makes me so sad to leave her for a week. I cry when I have to drop her off.

Hi everyone,

Susan, thinking of you today. Hope all is good. Hugs!

Barb, it's cloudy and a tad cooler here today. How is it down there? I washed my car but that was probably a dumb thing since I may have to drive down tomorrow night to Monument. I think it's suppose to snow a little tonight.

Julie, I love the security for Anna Marie. It is so important for you to experience first hand so when you go home you are comfortable with it. I'm not surprised about the hair, the nails or any of it. I know it was like that even at the Disney Stores. Crazy but true.

Denine, are you getting along a bit better today? I agree so much with you. A pet IS a part of a family. Anyone that thinks different doesn't have a heart!

Heidi, I have your rings now so whenever you are ready for them just come on over. Lemoncello is waiting, too.

Mom - Thanks for protecting my rings and the Lemoncello. Taura cancelled on me yesterday so I had the house all to myself last night, it was kind of nice!

I have a 3 hour meeting today. Of course it is during lunch and working with the Fed Govt, they don't provide lunch so I will be starving today!

Good Morning!

Not much new again. Guess I live a kind of boring life.:confused3 Snowed here yesterday for about an hour. Thank goodness it didn't stick to the streets. I worked until 7:30 last night, overtime. Miss going to Villa but am going to go tonight to make up. The mobile news van is parked outside of Compassion. Their building is right accross from ours. So sad about the earthquake and they got hit again today. :sad1:

Denine-I agree about the pets being a part of the family. Thats how I feel about mine too. I can't watch a movie or read a news story where an animal was hurt.

Julie-How is Disney? When does Annamarie start working?

Heidi-Cracked up when I read that you cry when you drop of Sable. I can SO relate. So much guilt when we leave the dogs behind. :rotfl:

Sandy-How is the WW coming along? I have never really cooked that way before. I think I will go get the Biggest Loser cook book.

Barb - I just read that they had another earthquake. How heartbreaking.

Hi everyone. Jerry went back to work today so it was really weird. I didn't know what to do this morning. I had such a routine with Jazz and all his medicines and now that is gone. Hera isn't even coming down in the morning like she used to. I have to go find her to pet her. I know she lost her best friend. Otherwise we are managing. We made it through the first day. We kept looking for Jazz in his spot though and it was VERY empty. If the sun was out, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. I don't remember when we last saw the sun; a week ago?

In other news; I lost 1.3 pounds when I weighed in on Saturday. We hadn't weighed ourselves since before New Years and I was afraid I had gained it all back. Jerry lost 0.2 lbs. The last couple of days were diet busters; we had pizza.

We got Jerry's mom a kitty on Sunday. It was her birthday/Christmas present. We took her to the shelter and she picked out the one she wanted. His name is Whitey and he is 8 years old. He is white with 1 blue eye and 1 green eye. He is sweet but not the most outgoing. She has never had a cat before but she just can't manage a dog anymore. They are too much work.

We won't even consider getting another kitty until we get back from Homeschool days in Williamsburg. We all need time to adjust.

Jerry talked to Julie yesterday. They are all enjoying themselves. Anna Marie has a seminar to attend today and she starts work on Sunday.

Hi guys! Just a quick stop by before we head back out to the parks! It is in the 70's today and sunny. We aren't suppose to get rain for the rest of the week except for maybe a shower tomorrow.

Anna Marie has adjusted great so far. She has dyed her hair (actually she had to do her hair again because she has so much of it and it's thick). It looks nice. We stopped by Liberty Inn yesterday so she could look around, and the workers there were SOOOOOOOOOOO nice to her! They gave her the "quick" run down as to where to get her shoes and things like that. The workers there are on the "older"side, and I think that Anna Marie will fit in just fine. They are all so nice.

Anna Marie first day of work is ACTUALLY today. They have to go to "traditions" today which is about 4 hours long and then she is free for the rest of the day. Then she begins work at EPCOT on Thursday and then she works again on Saturday. She won't be working in her costume until Sunday at the earliest. The first couple of work days she has to dress in business attire and is a lot of this is where you get dropped off, this is where you punch in, this is this and that is that.... But what we were saying is that since she has worked at McDonald's, she has the "fast food" experience so they will throw her in to working ASAP!

Her mom's husband made the stupidest comment on Facebook today about Anna Marie having to dye her hair. He said " you went all the way to Disney and they want you to be Amish?'" All I can say is he is just a complete idiot WILL NEVER get Disney! And this from a man who suppose to be a "business man". His facebook picture is him surrounded by about 10 late teens/ early 20's girls holding a beer. Nice! What a way to portray yourself... Garry said he would never put a picture like that up on facebook, what kind of message are you sending your wife? Idiot! Anyways, Anna Marie did agree yesterday that her hair was probably a little too un-natural and that Disney did her a favor because when she does go for interviews, she won't put her future employer's off with her hair highlights.

Well, gonna run! Will check back in later today!

Julie, I found your post so informative. I never realized that Anna Marie has fast food experience. That will certainly be helpful that is for sure. I can't believe her step father and his comment about Amish AND the picture he has on facebook. Sounds like he needs to get a life! You are having awesome weather for WDW. I'd rather it be on the cooler side than the opposite. Do you remember my friend "Faith"? She works in Epcot and I think in some sort of a management position. I will have to ask her if she has anything to do with Anna Marie's restaurant.

Denine, Hera will have a few days of loneliness but will pull out of it, too. Whitey has one blue and one green eye? Must be pretty.

Congrats to Denine, Jerry, Julie and Garry for your weight loss. Awesome job. I am too afraid to weigh myself after vacation. I will go back to WW next Tuesday.

Barb, you got snow? We didn't even see one snowflake. I've looked at the Biggest Loser cookbook and some recipes look great. I am finding that when I was losing so good before vacation I was cooking my normal recipes and just using portion control. I am soooooo tired of a piece of meat and a green vegetable!!!! I was cooking casseroles and eating a cup of it, a veggie and milk. I do know that I cannot stay true to a diet if I can't have casseroles!!!

Heidi, you are very welcome. Anytime.

Julie: I thought Jerry told me her first day was Sunday. No biggie. I am happy for Anna Marie. We all know her step-dad is a bit off.

We got Jazzy's paw print in the mail today along with the Rainbow Bridge poem. Kaleigh and I cried all over again. I have 2 other paw prints on my dresser and I cherish them. We didn't get one when Ty died.

I have a lot of WW cookbooks and light cookbooks. We just had a YUMMY soup for dinner. It was turkey-vegetable. It was 3 points per bowl. Kaleigh even ate her whole bowl. I also made bread to go with it. I choose the whole grain, high fiber breads to make. I have a fat-free bread cookbook too. I am NOT a casserole person. Tomorrow is roasted pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and green beans.

Denine, I am not a meat person. I hate meat and always have. I don't mind plain, fried ground beef or ground turkey though. I remember getting a sympathy card from our vet and of course the crying would begin all over again. I am like Barb and Heidi. I cried every time when leaving our pets for vacation.

Mom - I think Faith does a lot with the Kim Possible thing. She always posts stuff about Kim Possible on Facebook.

Denine - the managers bought us Pizza for lunch so I had pizza too!! It tasted so good even though I wanted to be good but I caved!

Julie - It is so interesting to read everything that Anna Marie is going through. Thanks for keeping us updated. That is awesome you are having such good weather.

I sent Faith a PM on facebook. I see her post that she is closing Norway etc so that is why I wonder if she is in some sort of managerial position. I know she was at MK.

Hey guys! Let me know where Faith is and maybe we can stop by and say hi! I didn't realize that today is actually Anna Marie's first day until she told us yesterday. She gets paid for today, so today is it. LOL!!!

I'm with Barb, Heidi and Sandy when it comes to leaving our animals. I cried all the way up to Milan when I dropped off the puppy. I have called several times to check up on her and my mom about our other dog and kitty we left at home. The other 2 are use to us leaving and someone coming over, but the puppy is still to young to be left alone for long periods of time.

Well, gonna run. We are eating in Germany tonight. Just stopped home for a freshen up. I'll be back later! I will hopefully have a report from Anna Marie about her first day.
