Good Morning!

Stayed up way to late last night. Not sure what is going on with me. I use to be able to get along fine on 4 hours of sleep but the last 3 weeks I am dragging.

Had Ethan's end of the season t-ball party last night at "Pump it up" Bob and Ethan played on all the stuff I played with Kara. I was bouncing her on the arm of a blow up slide. She was laughing. It was so fun.

Toiletries too? Wow what a life style change for them. I hope Tyler is doing better today.

Julie-Saw you on my farm last night. I talked to you but you must have already left.

Denine-Check out my farm today. I made my Mickey head bigger. I was so proud. Took hours to get my fields rearranged. I proudly showed Missy and Tiffany both thought my Mickey head was a swimming pool. How is Kaleigh doing?

Susan-No body understands us. We just have to stick together.

I didn't see any of the MJ memorial yesterday. I hear his daughter is a cutie. I had totally forgotten he had kids. Hope we see more of them now.

Susan -It's okay to admit that you check your farm first and when you can't get on you come here. I will protect you from my mom.

Barb - I HAVE to go see your farm, I didn't realize you had a mickey head...how cool! Pump it up looks like a lot of fun. Seems those inflatable places are popping up everywhere! Stacey wants to open one in Monument since there is nothing to do there for kids!

Today Chris's niece comes. She bought her tickets off of Cheap tickets and then something went wrong and now she is on standby. Hoping she gets on the flight she purchased, not sure how things went wrong.

I finally made it here.

Kaleigh woke up this morning with a sore throat. I looked at it and it was so swollen that you could barely see the opening. I did get her into the doctor this morning (old office). I told her everything that was going on and she said it sounds like asthma. Her little lungs were all wheezy. We are starting Kaleigh on Singulair and she has to go back in a month. She did a strep test which came back negative, but she put her on ATB's since Kaleigh obviously has something. Amox for 10 days. Then in the MD office, Kaleigh tells me her throat has been hurting for a couple of days. Well, that explains why she hasn't had much appetite and why her cough suddenly got worse. I hope the singulair helps.

Kaleigh did go to her game, there was no way she was going to miss it! She had a great hit. It was just soooo cold. We were all freezing.

Just got back from Target getting the ATB and gave the first dose. She gets it 3 times a day, so she will get another before bed.

I admit, I did go to my farm earlier, but I didn't want my crops to go to waste!

Need to go out to dinner since I didn't have time to make anything.

Heidi, I can't believe what poor Brittany is going through, bless her heart. Is she at the airport alone or is Karen there with her? Sheez poor kid.

Sandy: Poor Tyler. How is he doing? Someone knock Rich upside the head!

We went to Cici's for dinner. Cheap and decent. I just gave Kaleigh a treatment.

Gotta do the exercise bike today since we can't go for a walk. I just needed to let dinner settle first.

Still need to give Kaleigh a bath, plus she wants me to read to her.

Heidi: Did Chris's niece arrive?

Denine, you are sooooo rude!!! I haven't had Cici's for so long and just this weekend Heidi and I were talking about how hungry we were for it. Hope you ate enough for 3!

Just talked to Stacey. Tyler's seizures have stopped, thankfully!!

Heidi, glad that Brittany got on the flight. I misunderstood. I thought she was having to wait for another flight.

Glad Tyler's seizures have stopped.

Kaleigh is awful tonight. She coughed for more than 45 minutes straight. It is worse when she lies down. I am afraid I may end up in the ER before the evening is over. I can't give her any more albuterol yet. Poor thing was crying cause she couldn't stop coughing. I feel so helpless.

I am on looking for asthma info.

Oh Denine, I feel so bad for all of you. Bless her heart. I know it's rough trying to decide if she needs to be taken in. I know Stacey always had terrible coughs with colds but never did asthma enter into it so you have to have it twice as bad. Hugs to all of you. Keep us posted.

Good Morning!

Well t-ball is over. Ethan had his last game last night. The kids were dragging. Guess they all over did it at Pump it up the night before. The coach called the game after 2 innings.

I SAW SANTA ON THE WAY TO WORK!!! I caught up this this red VW bug and the license plate said "Ho Ho 1" When I was passing him I looked over and there was Santa! Red stocking cap, glasses resting on his nose, long beard. Funny thing was I was thinking about Christmas at the time!!

Water aerobics tonight.

Denine - Poor Kaleigh. Lots of hugs to you, I would hate to have to watch her struggle and cry because of this. I hope you don't have to take her to the ER.

Mom - You were right, she was on standby so she might have had to take a later flight, thank goodness she got on her original flight.

I talked to my sister last night on the way to the airport and she was telling me she spends $700 a month on medication for Tyler. I just about passed out when I heard that. Then on top of that, yesterday, she had to buy a cream for his dry skin that was $160.

Julie - how are your parents doing?

Barb/Susan - I got my farm working again on FB, so it is back to normal again and filled with potatoes, hopefully I will harvest them tonight so they won't die again. lol

Luckily we didn't have to take Kaleigh to the ER. She was able to fall asleep, probably from pure exhaustion. The cough is no better this morning. Our goal is to get her to her game tonight. She would be devastated if she couldn't play. When is that Singulair going to kick in? I have knots in my stomach from worry and I couldn't eat this morning.

Heidi: Meds are sooo expensive. I feel for Stacey. I have no idea how much the singulair is going to cost. Right now I have enough samples to make it to the next appointment.

Sandy: I came here first.

I have pineapple sourcream nut bread in the oven.

I don't want to leave anyone out, so Hi!

I am just all consumed with Kaleigh right now.

Hi guys! Just popping in for a few minutes. My parents are doing pretty good. My mom is doing awesome, my dad on the other hand.... is doing ok I guess. I will be taking him to his dr. appointment today.

Brooke has been in Safety Town this week and last week. Tomorrow is her last day. She has really enjoyed it.

Sandy, sorry to hear about Tyler. I hope that he won't have anymore problems.

Heidi, glad to hear that she made it safe and sound. I hope you guys have a nice visit.

Barb and Susan, your farms look really good. I have checked in late at night, but haven't stayed on long.

Denine, sorry to hear about Kaleigh. but speaking from experience (my brother had/has it, and so does Paige) the worst thing for her to do is go play baseball tonight. Running around in the cool air just causes more problems. Until you can get this cough under control, I would recommend she not do too much running around or outside activities for the next week or so. My brother had to sleep in an almost "sitting up" position when he got it really bad. My mother just kept putting pillows behind him. He didn't like it very much, but it helped him at night. I remembered the one time he did go play baseball (he did that when he was younger) that shortly after the game, my mother ended up taking him to the ER. His pediatrician gave my mom his private phone number and had her call him whenever he had a bad attack. I remember them being in the ER several times. I know she won't be happy not going to the game, BUT I think her health is more important then a t-ball game right now. Asthma is not something to take lightly. Singulair will take awhile to kick in. Unfortunately, asthma is tricky. The littlest thing can trigger an attack.

Well, gonna go. I have more things to do. Garry has been extremely busy at work. They are interviewing people for an open position among other c*** at the station. Makenzie is going camping this weekend with her girl scout troop so we have to get all her things together, plus soccer sign up is tonight. Run Run Run...what else is new?

Julie: Thanks for the advice. We are going to take Kaleigh to the game and see how it goes. If I have to make her sit on the bench I will. At least Jerry is one of the coaches, so he can keep a close eye on her.

I gave Kaleigh some codeine cough medicine out of desperation. The codeine works on the cough center and so far her cough is better. Keep your fingers crossed.

Julie: Glad to hear your mom is doing great. Your dad won't be happy until he is back home.

Well I feel honored Denine. You posted first. Looks like you are getting your priorities straight right now. I agree with Julie. Kaleigh won't like it but her health is first over the game. Bless her heart, she will be disappointed but breathing is more important.

Barb, how hilarious that you saw Santa. I presume he was headed to the North Pole I love that the game was called at 2 innings. How funny.

I ran around town again today looking for a certain blender for Tyler. Of course, I couldn't find one.

Julie, you don't sound as frazzled as I thought you would be. Hang in there. I bet you like the farm as a way to wind down.

Heidi, the cream was totally overpriced and on top of it, it expires in October. Good grief! How's things going with Brittany?

Good morning! TGIF. I think we are going to play tourist this weekend and head down to CO Springs. We are going to take Chris's niece and the girls to Cave of the Winds, 7 Falls, and hoping to go to the Royal Gorge or Pikes Peak on the cog rail. We will probably stay somewhere down there Saturday night and then come back Sunday afternoon for my cousin's family birthday party (which my aunt still hasn't told us what time!)

Denine - how did Kaleigh do at her game?

Barb - I showed Brittany your farm because she was making fun of me doing it and she said, "wow, it looks like a resort"!

Julie - thanks for your work yesterday!

Mom - Brittany is doing good. Yesterday they went down to Chris's campus and walked around and then they went Downtown and ate on the 16th Street Mall. Last night we watched the Knowing. It was a pretty good movie but I HATED the ending (yes this means I did not get to watch Big Brother, but I have it on DVR). Today they are going to go to the CU Boulder campus and then pick up the girls.
