Yep, definitely Heidi's fault but it was a good error. Loved Smashburger, got to Fountain in time to look through RV's before buying the new mattress for the 5th wheel. Then it was time for dinner. No cooking for me, we went to Cracker Barrel. Yummy! I almost did call you Barb to come rescue us. LOL

We are having someone over tonight for long term insurance. We can get a discount through Ted's old pension plan. Not sure if it is wise to buy something like that, though. Just a lookie and no signing on a dotted line. Denine, do you ever hear anything about it at work? Probably not as I am sure you don't get into the financial end of things.

Hi all. I tried to post before but it just wasn't coming up so I gave up and went and played on my farm.

I haven't made strawberry bread in years, not since the last time we went picking. I will have to post the recipe.

Making chocolate chip banana bread today.

Talked to Julie briefly on my farm and her mom is doing good. She said she would post later.

It was my birthday present that Chris bought for me. It was suppose to be used before we went on our cruise, but with my mom's bad foot there is no way she would have enjoyed it so we have to use it when her ankle heals.

Last few weeks we complained about rain. Today the heat is killing me.

Julie helped me on my farm yesterday! First time I tried to hire her and I ended up accidentally hiring one of her friends then Julie and her friend hired me to harvest their crops. Yay, first job!!!! lol Julie said her mom is doing good but her dad is depressed. Poor guy.

Today is my Friday!!! Yay!

Got my homeschool notification ready to send to the school board.

Heidi: I have never had a pedicure and the last time I had a manicure was in highschool. I paid $10.

I am sure Julie's dad is depressed, but her mom just can't take care of him for a while. I am sure she will visit him as soon as she can.

Denine, rainy day is better than our 95 degrees......as far as I'm concerned! I'd happily swap with you.

Today I get my crown put on. That's about it. Thinking about baking some sweets for the weekend. I honestly don't want them around but I am kind of responsible for a couple that are in their 80's and you know how they love sweets and desserts. I just can't decide to take care of myself OR them.

I have chocolate peanut butter brownies in the oven. They are for the party we are going to tomorrow across the street. We were supposed to go to another party on Saturday, but it was cancelled. We were supposed to see our friends John and Judy at that one.

I work tomorrow.

Good Morning!

YAY its my Friday!!! I am ready for the weekend. Going to see Transformers again but this time in the IMAX. Tomorrow we were suppose to go to a baseball game but the tickets are all sold out. Saturday we are going hang out at the pool at Villa they are having a buffet and some fun activites. They have a really nice outdoor pool. Last weekend Tiffany and I took Ethan. I lathered Ethan all up with sun screen although it really didn't seem that hot. I put some on myself because I don't want the bad rays on me. Tiffany is as white as a ghost I asked her if she put some on but she said no because she needed some color. Which is true. We got home that night and she is as red as a lobster. She has been complaining all week because she is so sunburned. She should have listened to her mother! I think Saturday night we are going to Palmer lake to watch the fireworks. Maybe Sunday will be either the zoo or Santa's workshop.

Denine- I've seen you on my farm a few times but when I talk you have already left. I will have some harvesting later today if you want it. When I am just standing there "Zoning" as you call it Means I am on a call. Hang in there I will be right back.

Heidi-Ok to post that pictures. Kara is so cute. Missy really gets some cute pictures of her.

Barb - Have fun at Palmer Lake if you go. That is where we use to go and I loved it. Getting out after the fireworks is a nightmare, but too me the firework show is worth it! Good memories there! Now we just sit at the campground and watch them from there. You don't get the great effects, but at least I still get to see them.

We love Palmer Lake's fireworks. It is so cool sitting around the lake. Don't worry if the train comes by. It seems to always do that but is gone in time for the fireworks. Get there early if you don't want to walk forever.

I told Barb that the last picture of Kara should be blown up in an 8X10. It is soooooooooo beautiful. Her gorgeous eyes just shine.

Denine, chocolate peanut butter brownies, huh? Man, Iwould gobble those up. I was going to make a blueberry crisp but realized I don't have all the ingredients. I am going to go through some cookbooks now.

I am sure I will be back on but just in case, HAPPY FOURTH EVERYONE! It might be stormy so I am not sure if Stacey's wireless will work all that great. Plus, when the campground is as full as it is, the connection is slow. Slower than anyone could imagine!

HAppy 4th everyone!

Work was pretty quiet yesterday, a big contrast from Monday.

We had a nice time at the party, but Jerry and I were both tired and not really into it. Still, we didn't get home until almost midnight. All my brownies went and they were a bit on the dry side. It was the first time I made that recipe. Next time I will bake less than stated time.

We have sparklers and poppers for Kaleigh for tonight. We are just gonna hang around the house and do yard work today. I will make hamburgers later.

Barb: That little girl is adorable! I figured you were on a call when you were zoning. I usually try to leave you a message if I have been there.

Going to my parents tomorrow. Haven't seen them since Mother's Day.

HAPPY FOURTH! It is a cold and rainy afternoon. Not sure if Barb will be able to see the fireworks. We are babysitting Tyler and Joey and Stacey just came home to change into jeans, it's that cold. My brother and his family came down for the morning. Loved it. Internet is slow so I am going to post just a little, enough to say howdy.
