Well, the deed is done. Cuddles is finally at peace. It was so sad watching her try to walk around outside.

It is hard to believe, but I am not jealous of Julie going to WDW. I am just happy to be home and getting some things done for a change. Ask me in another month though!

Yeah I know Denine, I guess I would feel that way too if I just got back from my 2nd trip within 3 months of each other. If we would have gone on back to back trips like you, I would be TOTALLY LOST with all the things that would have gotten backed up, I wouldn't know where to start. With the 3 kids and Garry's schedule, not to mention all the things going on with my parents and all the school activities.... That's why this trip will be a warm welcome. And then after the trip all the c**** begins again!

There is still time to come for a quick visit!!! Pack up the car with all the stuff from the frig, and drive down. All you cost would be is the gas, you could stop by Judy's again on the way down and back so you wouldn't have to pay for a hotel room, and the room down in Florida would be DVC so the only thing would be food and you have to go grocery shopping up here.... SO it comes out even!!!! Come on Jiko's is calling all of us adults!!!!!!!! Let Jerry do all the planning Denine, he's the sensible one!!!! You are out of the decision making.... OH Jerry........

Well, just finished with a load of laudry. got another and I THINK that will be it for the clothes we are taking for the trip. It is getting easier and easier to pack with each trip! I really think that all I have to pack is clothes! At least that is what is on my list!! Everything else is in the Owner's Locker.

Long time! Welcome back Julie. How was your trip? (I have not read any of the back pages but I will)

Heidi-Missing you!! can't wait to hear how it went!!

Ethan started t-ball last week. Being the proud grandparents we escorted him to his first practice. I was cracking up watching the 4 & 5 year olds putting their gloves on their heads thinking they were all that and a bag of chips, rolling the balls when they were suppose to be holding on to them, throwing the ball and running after it before another kid could get it. I was rolling watching them most fun I have had in a while. I feel for the coach trying to control them:. I have done so many different things with kids where I was in his shoes I was really enjoying not being the one in charge!

Sandy, I saw on our news that you guys are getting pounded by rain! Hang in! It will go away soon, we hope!

Have you heard from Heidi and the family?

We have been getting showers on and off around here for the past few days, but we haven't had a all day down pour. We did have a pretty good storm last night, but they said that the rain will be done and the sun will come out by this afternoon! Then more rain later tonight. Makenzie has soccer practice tonight, and they will have it as long as it's not storming.

Oh man, where were you yesterday? You could have guided me through that painful time.

Don't you just love watching those little ones attempting sports for the first time?! We got the biggest kick out of watching my niece and nephew.

Julie, haven't heard from Heidi since they left Key West. She sent a picture of the sunset. Amanda called me to tell me that she is walking better. We are getting a lot of rain but it isn't bothering me. At least it isn't HOT!!!

I forgot to add that the epilepsy walk is this Sunday. We are thinking about taking my grandma's wheelchair for me or the kids or for whoever needs a break. I can't walk the full 3 miles with my foot that is for sure and I don't want to NOT go!

Stacey is taking Tyler to a doctor today. He is full of bruises and that is a sign of too many drugs from what she was told. It could be because he is a boy as well. Better to be safe than sorry!

I need a great deal on the Orlando Airport Hyatt. I am sitting here waiting for hotwire to bring it up. There is a great thread about it on the DISboards. I just think we will take it easy this cruise. No formal, Topsiders instead. No pirate gear. No snorkel gear. My plane flight went up so I am waiting for it to go back down. Maybe I will set my alarm tonight. Wednesday am (around midnight) is supposedly where the deals are. I want to pay for it using my American Express points. The flight would be free for both of us. I find it so funny that we need 112,000 points for the flight and 37,000 for just one night at the Hyatt. I think I will pay for that one night. Too many points. We may just get a dayroom at the Hyatt after the cruise. No renting a car and rushing to DTD.

I booked this cruise close to 2 years ago and just wasn't sure we would take it but didn't want to let it go just in case. With us just getting back from Costa Rica, our 2 week vacation to Yellowstone and Canada this August, it didn't make sense to cruise as well. Ted was really the one that talked ME into it. We are taking a 7 day Magic cruise Sept 12-19 going to Tortola and St Thomas. We only owe 1400.00 on it. With the prices for cruising these days we decided to keep it. Who knows when we can go for that little. We still have the Christmas 2010 cruise booked but we will just transfer that one for hopefully a maiden voyage cruise for one of the new ones.

Heard from Heidi. Here is what she had to say:

Just leaving Grand Cayman. Had fun with the jet skiis, carried Emily on my back the entire time on sting ray city. Those things are huge and scary. If they think you have food, they will climb up your back from the water, it is so creepy. They are very slimy. Amanda didn't even get off the jet ski she sat there crying and was too scared! That's about it for here, girls didn't want to do much shopping. Tonight is Lumier's. Managed to fry my shoulders and back in Key West and now it just plain hurts since Emily spent most of the day on my back! Tomorrow is Cozumel and we will be going horseback riding. What is the name of the Tequilla that Chris liked so well and what is the name of the ones we liked? WE are tired, had to wake up at 6:00am today to make the excursion. LOVE my waterproof camera, wish I could have spent more time getting pictures of the stingrays, but I couldn't keep Emily down off me enough to get pictures from down in the water!


Have only ate in the dining room once this trip, this will be our second time! Not much new on the ship. Love the new TV's.

Sandy-How is Tyler? I think about him often. Are the kids loving school? How is Stacey holding up through all of this? Sounds like she is very strong. Give her a hug for me next time you see her.

Another raining day. We have not seen the sun since Saturday morning. I don't mind. I love the rain and it is going to be sooo green around here. YAY! Got some of my gardens done before it started.

Sandy-I know what you mean about that maiden voyage. I think I will stay home from work to get it booked. I really want to go on it. Wouldn't that be fun if we did a reunion cruise on it?

Julie-How is your summer going now that you are settling back into the routine? Are the kids in sports this summer? I did see your post about the owners locker. I was so set on getting one but wonder if it is worth it if we only stay at DVC once a year?? What do you think??

Another rainy day.

Kaleigh's game was rained out due to wet fields yesterday which was a real bummer because the sun finally came out last night. She is supposed to have a game tonight, but who knows?

Sandy: Glad to hear Heidi is having a good time. Hope you get a good deal on the hotel.

The fridge guy is supposed to be here before noon. Will he make it?

Barb, thanks for asking about Tyler. He had to come to our house last night. Joey had a night with daddy. Tyler was seen by his pediatrician for bruising. He felt it was normal kid bruising. Her neurologist called when they were here and wanted them to come back this morning to get bloodwork. They think it is too much of one of his meds, depakote. It's a waiting game. He is talking sooooo much better now. Not like a four year old but talking! I could see a difference since Sunday! I will definitely give Stacey a hug from you. I know what she will do......tear up. But that's ok. She needs to know that people think about her as well. The kids are out of school for the summer. How's precious Kara and Ethan? I AM proud of Heidi as a step mom. She is a perfect one. You wouldn't know that they are STEP daughters. Her parenting skills are unbelievable.

Denine, no deal yet. It's the waiting game. I am soooooo upset that I initially let both the airline and hotel slip through my fingers. With that much rain, even with the sun coming out, I know they need to let the field dry so that there isn't any damage done. I sure hope the fridge get fixed this time. I can't imagine putting up with what you have!!!
