Hi guys. Good to catch up with you all. Took me awhile to read!
The kids saw Finding Nemo today with friends. Very cute movie. The drive-in sounds like fun Denine.
Lightning strikes going on here. Very close. Like Flash/BOOM close. Guess I should turn off the computer but I just had to get caught up with you all.

Just checking in before hitting the sheets. Just put the Big Guy back to bed. He had a bad dream and wouldn't go back to sleep. He even had something to eat before I could get him to bed. Looks like we have another night owl on our hands when he gets older. Garry had stopped home for coffee and was called on the radio 3 minutes after he was home. The only have 3 guys working tonight in a city of over 23,000 people in it! NICE! They will be running their butts off!

Susan, thanks for the welcome back! It's good to be posting under my own name!

Lori, we are suppose to get storms here too tonight and tomorrow! This has been on one of the wettest springs here in awhile. We have only had 1 day in the 80's and that was back on April 15th.

Bonnie, Makenzie took my picture of you and Jeanne that I had sitting by my computer and took it over to Garry and told him that she loves you! She pointed to you in the picture and said I love her daddy. Boy did you make an impression on her!

THe rain is back and the barometric pressure must have changed dramatically because I have a headache beyond belief!!!! Oh well...hump day Yea...make it through today and then only 2 days until Chicago, actually I should say Glenn!!!!!

Haircut tonight...if the headache continues though I will have to postpone it.

Great chatting with you last night Julie!!!! We really have to take the time to do it a little more often. Give M a big hug and a kiss for me!!! Tell her I miss her. And of course the big guy.

Good Morning!!

Well I am almost half way through this week.

Picked up Tiffany yesterday. The high school group from our church went to Keystone Resort for camp, stayed in a hotel and ate hotel food. Now that is what I call camping! She had a wonderful time. She always comes home so excited. I love picking her up. She talks talks talks.

That is a cute story about Mackenzie. Bonnie really did make an impression on her. Sounds like Bonnie has another Granddaughter!

I am loving the weather right now. It is sunny and warm during the day and late afternoon we have about an hour worth of rain then it clears up just in time for a long evening walk.

I am doing a program at work called 10K a day. I am suppose to walk 10,000 steps a day. I managed to get 9,000 yesterday. It is really challenging when you have a sit on your butt all day job!!

Good morning. Another cloudy day with rain on the way. We may try to do Nemo tonight.

Nothing going on here.

I am trying to find an appropriate baby book for Kaleigh. Tapestry Books has a couple to choose from. I still need to look at one more when they finish updating their website. They specialize in adoption books. Most (99%) of baby books include pages for ultrasound pictures, when you 1st found out you were pregnant and who you told and the whole birth experince. All pages that would be left blank. I don't want Kaleigh to feel bad when she gets older by seeing all those blank pages. The adoption ones are nice and even contain pages for info about the birth parents, plus all the traditional baby book stuff. They also have a ton of other books. I may order a couple of them.

If you don't get the Disney Magazine and want the Palo chocolate souffle recipe, I can give it to you once I type it into my recipe program. Just let me know.

Hello to all. Another nice day here in Colorado. Susan, you are so right. It was nice in the morning and then clouded over. That is a typical day in CO but haven't had it for a few years. Seems like we might be back to the same ole weather pattern. I really don't mind it as it just gives the grass that much more water.

Lori, I was stuck in a HUGE traffic jam yesterday on C470 between Wadsworth and Santa Fe. It took me
ONE HOUR to go the distance. After that it was clear sailing. Normally it would take, what, two or three minutes. An unbelieveable mess. I had to pick up Noah at Bible School and was a half hour late. His mom sent out a search team looking for us so Stacey got stuck in the traffic also. What a mess.

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't posted since last night!

I gained 1/2 lb. this week. But, I am not discouraged. I had deep water aerobics again this evening and then I've been housecleaning. Paul's parents and brother and his family are coming in tomorrow for Paul's niece's high school graduation. It is tomorrow evening so I won't be on tomorrow. I also have to meet my Dad early in the morning for his camera endoscopy so that takes care of my morning.

I'll be thinking about you guys and I'll be back on Friday. Maybe a wine chat this weekend?????

Bonnie, my cell phone was right where it should have been......sitting on my dining room table. Can you believe that?? I took off and realized I had left it but thought oh well, I'm not going far. I sure beat myself up over that one. I never get upset when my hairdresser cuts my hair a little too short as mine grows fast. I always carry the thought that it will always grow back. And.....so shall yours!

Susan, don't be upset about your little gain as you are exercising and a gain certainly isn't unusual then. I learned years ago especially when you are swimming.

I am going camping tonight and won't be back until Sunday or late Monday night. Just depends on what site we get. Will check back in with everyone here when I get back. Hope to have lots to read when I get back.

Good Morning!!

Here is my effort to keep our board alive!

Not much happening with me. The girls and I went shopping along with my neice last night. Had a fun time. It is always hard to shop in that mall now that they have taken out the Disney store. I still walk by the space Disney use to occupy with longing eyes.

The weather here is beautiful again. We may get more rain later. I am not complaining. The only problem with the rain is my car is dirty. I spent about 2 hours on Sunday shining it up then it rained on Monday and it is all spotty again. But the grass looks great!

Bonnie: I think it is Mountie time again. What are we gonna do when Garry & Julie leave for WDW next week?

Went to see Nemo last night. Cute movie. Gave Kaleigh her bath with lavender baby wash, gave her her bottle and went for a 1/2 ride to the drive-in. She slept the whole time. Got home about 11:30 PM and put her in bed. She talked for a while, but went back to sleep. It was nice to see a movie again. Will have to do this more often. I just wish they didn't have to start so late.

Rain all day today. When is summer going to arrive???????

Don't have anything exciting to say.....same old thing everyday.....we go to Curves (lost another pound this week but I did cheat a couple days....learned my lesson...no more cheating) then we usually shop, eat out once in awhile and scrapbook everyday. Have taken a few scrapbook classes and going to a night crop tomorrow.

The weather has been really nice with some rain in the afternoon or evening....good for the water rationing....

Other than that not much else is happening...just enjoying Linda's visit....her daughter flies into Denver tomorrow from a two week church camp. We will have a week before the other company starts arriving.....

Denine I would love to see a picture of Kaleigh....she sounds adorable......

The "Mountie" is kind of cute though....

Alright, Alright! No more mounties Bonnie! I checked the boards several times today but haven't had time to post. Went and picked up Anna Marie today so that took up some time. I also went and got a video player for the car for the trip down. The kids should be entertained by disney movies so some of the trip. I promise that I will post before leaving on Monday. I sure hope there is a lot of pages to read when we get back! Don't let the thread die!

Barb, loved your posts tday. They cracked me up. It was nice to see someone else chatting away all by themselves. I have done it several times and I am glad to see that there is someone else crazy enough to do it too!

Susan, I hope graduation went well. If it would have been up here, you would have gotten soaked! It rained like it was time to send out the ark! I'm still collecting two animals of each kind. This has been a horrible spring here. They do report that it will get nicer up here when we leave to go to Florida.
