Oct.19, 02 Cruisers AGAIN

Hello all!

Worked this morning (this is getting really old). Work again tomorrow morning.

We did manage to donate blood last night. The place was packed and it took about 2 hours from the time we got there until we were finished. We were running into nap time, evening bottle and bath time. Kaleigh was not a happy camper at the end. We never expected so many people. At least they won't bug us for a while.

Jerry is out making hay in the front lawn. It has been a week since the grass was cut and has done nothing but rain. It is pretty long.

Favorite character: Cinderella. Because Jerry is my Prince Charming (aahhhh). Jerry's is Mickey Mouse.

Hoping for the zoo tomorrow after work.

Bonnie: Have a great time!

Julie: Just drop the animals off at my house. I'll keep them or put them on the ark while you guys are gone. Have fun packing! (Don't forget me!)

Got an early start & took the Cape May-Lewes Ferry over to the Rehobeth Outlets & did some shopping. There is a Disney Catalog Outlet there that sent me a coupon for 40% off so I couldn't resist! The sun was out ALL DAY!
It just this minute started raining.

The house is empty except for myself & Dodger dog. Teddy went to West Virginia, Summer is with her girlfriends & Derek is in Bellmawr. The silence is deafening!

Hope all the father's have a "Happy Father's Day" & all the mother's who are both the father & mother have a happy day.

Didn't post last night. I had a horrible headache from early afternoon on and just went to bed early.

Paul is leaving around 1:00 and won't be home until Thurs. or Fri. Turner and I may go to the pool for shiloe this afternon and then he is going wth me to the office. I have a little work I need to get done and won't get to it tomorrow becasue I am conducting interviews all day.

Dad had his camera endoscopy Thursday but we don't have the results yet. He has an appointment Thursday with the GI so maybe they will have results then. He's been taking the Procrit for 5 weeks now and his hemoglobin is only up to 10.2. This week they increased the dosage by 50%. They also have doubled his prescription iron. I'll keep you all posted.

Finally a beautiful day. The sun is shining , the humidity is down. It is just a beautiful day!

I finally had the opportunity to spray paint the headboard in the one bedroom I am "making over" but I still have a chest, bureau & mirror frame along with a desk to finish.

Back from the pool. Cleaning up and heading in to the office for a little bit. Glad New Jersey got the same beautiful day we had in North Carolina.

This was our first BEAUTIFUL weekend since we were on the cruise in October !!

It was far too nice out to be sitting at the computer. I spent yesterday working in the yard and then we had John's parents over for steaks on the grill for Father's Day Eve. Today, we spent more time outside enjoying the gorgeous day!! The we took my mom out for pizza tonight for Father's Day. This was the first one since my dad died, and since pizza was his absolute favorite. we thought that it would be appropriate to take my mom and sister out.

Tomorrow it is back to work....

Just back from the office. It's amazing how much you can get done when no one else is in the office!

Laurie, sounds like you guys had a nice weekend and beautiful weather too. We did have a few thuderstorms roll through in the last couple of hours but I think it has ended for a while.

Turner starts day camp tomorrow at the Y. He'll get to see a lot of his friends from last year. Our Y also has an outside water park so he'll get to swim and soak up some sun. He'll be tired by the time I get him picked up in the afternoon.

I think I got a little too much sun today at the pool. Not too bad but there's a little stinging on my nose and shoulders.

I can't believe it! Another beautiful day & I am off work! It is supposed to be beautiful all week.

Dodger needs to go to the park & I need to have my eyes examined (not my head) this morning. He won't examine my eyes until I have my visual fields study completed since I have some kind of loss of peripheral vision.

Good Morning!!

It Monday morning. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Hey Mom didn't see you at church yesterday.

Gotta shampoo carpet today. I am going to the Y right after work then home to shampoo carpet. I really do not like cleaning the carpet!!

It's amazing I am not tired after such a productive weekend. Hey I even got a page done for Jaymee's scrap book yesterday.

Good morning.....

Well Susan I think it is probably go in a store and shop.....kind of reminds me of what I do at home only more fun.

We ate out twice yesterday for Father's Day........ the girls and I went to Walmart grocery shopping inbetween times. I also worked in the yard.......

Last night we watched a movie.....love to watch movies at home since we got the big screen tv....almost as good as going to a movie.

Today back to the routine of going to Curves.....the one I go to has over 650 members just in that location.

We have a scrapbook class Wed evening and then Sat we are going to an all day Disney class where we make a lot of pages....that one should be a lot of fun.

Probably next weekend we will go to the Zoo. Had way to many things to accomplish this weekend. We renewed out membership with the Zoo for another year so we planned on going a lot this summer.

I washed my car yesterday and it is shinning which means it is going to rain good today. I just don't know what I would do without the little dirty spots all over my car!

Good sunny Monday morning. I can honestly say that yesterday was absolutely gorgeous (which means my mom was complaining about the heat). It was mid-seventies and sunny, all day. We went to the zoo after work and it was packed. I guess that's what happens when you finally have a nice weekend day and it turns out to be Father's day and dad's get in free. It was a really nice day. We came home and cooked out, then we went back out for another walk. We didn't want to waste the day.

It is supposed to be nice again today, believe it or not. I can't remember the last time we had 2 nice days in a row. Maybe the cycle is finally breaking.

Bought some baby gates Saturday night. Kaleigh is putting her hands in front of her and rocking when she sits. One of these times she is going to start moving.

Sounds like everyone had nice weather this weekend.

Julie didn't take me with her , but as long as the weather is decent I can handle it here. We have a ton of stuff to do if the weather holds.
