Your welcome. I went over today after the rain (There is a method to my madness. My sons bday is at the end of the month and Im trying to get him a wand.) and there was a 6 hour line to get into Harry land. Needless to say I went to the gym after stopping at gs. Needed to take my frustration with US out on something. So lead worked just fine.If you ever ask gs for a phone number double check it first. I had an issue with my soon to be daughters ap, and needed to call flexpay. The number gs gave went to a physcic hotline. After calling back to ask for the correct number, they tried to tell me it was the right one. After I hung up, and they swore to get to the bottom of the issue, I figured it out on my own.The gs agent told me it was 800........ I had taken my sons ap out of my pocket when I got in my truck, and happened to look and realized the the number was 866........not 800.And US phone gs had no clue as to where the problem was.
When you get in the term, its 1 big open box.On the right at the top of the escalator/elevator are the restrooms. On the same side is several bench type cushioned seats with videos showing to keep the kids occupied, and past that is the room for concierge, and just past that is a little gift shop and snack bar.The gift shop has several items from the sailaway collection, like plush char, hydration packs, banners etc.
On your left as you come off the escalator, is 1 long counter, that has the separate lines to check in. When we were there in August, they were just starting to add pics to the kttw cards, so I am not sure where the pic machine is now.
In the center of the room, is the ships model, and several characters will come out while you wait.
A suggestion for a meet would be the bench seats at the back of the terminal, on the right, before the castaway room. Its closest to the Mickey Funnel to board, and also close enough to see the characters comeout. For those of us that need to schedule kids clubs, that is close by as well.
That makes 2 of us.
