Oct 13, 2012 Fantasy who's going

At this point I would say that is a good defense lawyer. All they need is reasonable doubt to set her free. All I want to know - if it is accidental why didn't they call someone?

I get that. I would love to think we would get the whole complete truthful story and that the little girl's life and death would be told. I don't think that we will and even if we do, we will not know what storyline that is. Very sad.

After working in a maximum security prison with convicted felons very few of them will admit guilt. A few will and do it proudly. I probably would never have made it to that jury because of being a prison guard. Besides, I might have been a little prejudiced on her. However, on a minor case it's possible to be picked. Sometimes the lawyer wants someone with my background.

It is now 4 hours since I posted the above. I just read some of what happened at trial today. At this point if I were a juror I would think she was guilty. How can you party days after the child is missing. So many have the same testimony on her demeanor.

I'm on the other end with both personal and professional views on abuse behavior so I am still on the other side as well as a few years working at a mental hospital. LOL I would never have been permitted onto the jury because I am not open to the death penalty. Perhaps if we represent the jury makeup, this will be an interesting trial.

On a side note, I once wanted to be a prison guard to which all my friends laugh as they do not think I am tough enough. :confused3

Now that's funny. You can work in a mental hospital and not be tough enough for a prison.
We had a unit that was strictly "Special Needs".

I would rather work in a unit with 132 normal convicts with only one other officer than there. Sometimes when my partner went on break I was by meyself. And I did it.

A couple of times I had to work those special units or escort the nurse to give them their meds. NO THANK YOU  And I would be uneasy working in those units 'cause you don't know what they are going to do.

Working with max inmates is easier than minimum because they have to go in their cell after mess- shower- school- passes- whatever. Treat them like people and be firm fair and consistent.

Anyway, saw Pirates yesterday in 3D. Very good. Was advised to stay after the credits. Cute. pirate:

It's getting soo hot here in Fl that I switched my walking exercise from 8 pm to this morning. I'll take the heat over what other parts of the country are getting.

Susan, it's a shame you are not going on our cruise. You are cool to talk to. :surfweb::thumbsup2

A lot of people that are looking for something the kids will enjoy staying at is either All Star or Pop Century. There is bus transportation to the parks, also. Going to park before or after a cruise can be fun. It would certainly depend on how much time you have.

If you are doing the parks before the cruise and you are flying a Magical Express bus can be used to travel from the airline to the hotel. Or mears can be used. Also, going to Port Canavaral Disney Cruise Line bus can be used. Or you can rent a car.

If you havn't been to the parks much - it would probably take a whole day in each park. There is so much to see and do. Magic Kingdom would be the most diverse park for family and children. Animal Kingdom is fascinating but the animal part closes early. Disney studios has a lot for all in the family. When going to Epcot kids should do the Kim possible to spark their interest.

Port Canavaral is about 70 miles and takes about a hour and a half. The question is are you driving or flying.

Hope this helps some. Any more questions please feel free to ask.

This is from one of the stops we made on the Western cruise. At that time it seems that in that country the VW was a very popular car.
