Birthdays and Fish Extenders - sounds like everyone will be having a great cruise. If you happen to go to the park and everyone gets a birthday pin to wear that could top it off. When you wear the pin all of the castmembers go out of their way to say happy birthday.

Another beautiful morning. We are supposed to go up to 94 today with a 98 - 103 feel. I love it when they talk about a cold front here in Fl. That temp is in the 80's. After living in the north I personally do not call that a cold front. The pic of the day is the quiet version of Castaway Cay

Does anyone here watch Idol? - It seems to be the talk of the week. That and Casey Anthony.The main thing that they are saying is the ones that go now usually get better contracts than the winner, amazing. With Casey I believe I wouldn't be picked.

Me, I watch shows like Bones and NCIS, Mythbusters. This week was end of season shows, couldn't wait to watch them. Especially knowing that someone would be eliminated.

Then on to the old shows that are still on. Adam 12, Dragnet, Matlock, Murder She Wrote, In The Heat Of The Night and Mash.

Gee, that kinda follows the kind of career I had. 21 years military and 20 years prison guard.

We thought it was real cool that we got to sit there. We were actually just 3 families. Myself and my 2 DD, my best friend from where I used to work and her 2 DD, and another family of 3 my DD knew and they wanted to sit with us. There was supposed to be another family but they changed their dining time. We figured since there were 9 - 12 of us that had to be the reason we were placed there.

In fact a Disney podcaster (Lou Mongello) that arranged at least 700 participants to cruise at that time was sitting right next to us. We were thinking if anybody should have had that table it would have been him.

Coming from CA - we like taking the 7 night cruises so we will probably never make it on to the Dream so I'm loving the pictures!

Can't wait to see how the Fantasy will be "decorated" and who will be the Mascot, Fairy Godmother AND Captain!!!

I am so glad you are enjoying the pics. It makes it worthwhile to post them. I like the 7 night cruises also. I've been on the 7 day and the 4 day and there is no comparison. On the 4 day you just get started and it's over. One of our 7 day turned into a 10 day and that was even better.

I agree it will be exciting to see how the Fantasy will be decorated. Any clues?

No clues that I can find. I did "hear" a rumor that Captain Tom was back in Germany overseeing the construction of the Fantasy - but I do not know if it is true or not.

Are you talking about this Captain Tom? He was supposed to be on the last cruise - but he was on vacation.

Sorry - I was offline yesterday. Yep - this is Captain Tom. He was the first Captain for Disney Cruiseline and my understanding is that all of the of the ships have sailed "under his watch" one time or another.

BTW - speaking of rain, it's abount 5:30 AM here in Central CA and it's raining so hard - it woke me up!! Craziest weather that I've ever seen!

Cpt Tom is a great and friendly guy. Always welcomed having his picture taken.

It rained most of yesterday with thunder and lightening up until 7 am this morning. Now it is sunny and warm again. But, not as warm as it has been.

BTW - good morning everyone Back to beautiful days in Fl. Thurs is usually my Disney day. Didn't get to go last week cause of possible thunder storms. Probably go this Thursday. Havn't made up my mind which one to go to. Star tours had it's soft opening. I may listen to Ricky Brigante's podcast cause he went to it. His podcast is called Inside The Magic.

Me (42) and DH (47) are booked on this one too! It will be either our 6th or
7th cruise, depending on what the schedule is for Summer 2012.

We are doing B2B with the Eastern on October 6th. Our 10th anniversary is October 12th, so we are celebrating for 2 weeks!

Can't wait to get to know everyone over the next several months.

Good morning all - Been enjoying all of the final season shows this week. Sure are some cliffhangers (except Mythbusters) NCIS & NCIS LA and tognight Bones. I'm sure there are Idol fans out there that are glued and Dancing with the stars. And of course Casey Anthony. Star Tours opening, Pirates Of The Carribbean, Universal Studios new ride. Whew, a lot going on.
