I am obsessed with these boards!! I am looking into buying a very small contract to put my foot in the door and I am having no luck. You guys are making me so want to become a DVC member I'm on the boards all the time!

I just wanted to say Hello my name is Amy and I am obsessed with the DIS DVC boards.

Hi, Amy, from a fellow DIS addict! You will find great comfort here. Don't give up on getting that small contract. Put your name on the list with resale agents and eventually you will be an owner, hearing us Welcome you Home. Caution: a foot in the door will most certainly end up as a whole body jammed in there!

Hi Amy,
Don't give up, but beware it can be fun but you will end up with add-on itis. We started out with a small contract last June and have bought 2 more since then. Just closed on a 50 point last week. Contact the re-salers and let them know what you are looking for and it will happen.

My DW and I bought 160 pts in 2001, financing some of it (but not much). As soon as we paid that loan off, we bought 50 more points through DVC financing (2 years ago). When we pay that off, more points to come...

It is an addiction, as is this site. I hope I haven't been posting too much since finding and joining this site in early Feb., but I'm a loud mouth and it's just so hard for me to be shy.
