We've been able to book back 2 back cruises with the onboard booking discount and stateroom credit in the past.... Looking to do that when we sail next month, but wondering if it's still allowed?

Unfortunately no. I tried to book a back-to-back for the October 2017 4-night and 3-night Baja cruises on Disney Wonder while we were on the 12-night British Isles cruise on Disney Magic in June, but they would only give the OBB discount and credit on the more expensive cruise and book the other at the normal fare with no credit. Per Leslie, the onboard booker helping out from the main office, it went away about 6-7 months ago.

It was even earlier than that, I tried to reshop a B2B onboard end of July last year and it had already been discontinued, the news just hadn't reached the internet. We ended up reshopping the more expensive of the two.

I think the only way to work around it is if you have people in your party with different addresses. Then each person can use their booking for one leg. Even that loophole may have been closed at this point though.

We were able to book back to back cruises with OBB benefits this February for cruises next March. Not sure why the discrepancy with the above posters experiences. Perhaps because were on back to back cruises at the time? Or that we had two cabins so maybe each cabin received the benefit once?

Each room can book up to two rooms on one future cruise per household address. That, and the fact that you were on a B2B. Each leg of the cruise the same thing applies.

Agree with PrincessShmoo. I rebooked my B2B cruises for next summer while I was onboard last week, but I was only able to do it b/c I was on B2B at the time. I was told I could only rebook one per cruise. I rebooked one of them on the first leg and had to go back to rebook the 2nd one on the 2nd leg.

We took advantage of our B2B this year to book 4 placeholders (2 on each cruise) that we turned into a single cruise next summer when we plan a family trip for our 40th anniversary. Actually booked 5 placeholders, but the last one only got the stateroom credit, no discount or reduced deposit. There will be 16 of us doing that cruise.
