Upon completion of my next cruise, I will be hitting Gold. I will be making a few placeholder reservations while still on the ship - i.e., before the cruise is completed, thus before I officially become Gold.

So, I will book the placeholders as a Silver but will redeem the placeholders as a Gold. Am I correct in assuming that I will get the Gold perks on the cruises I book - namely, Gold's 105-day advance booking window for activities vs. Silver's 90-day window?

The computer will track your status. It will recognize your Gold status once you complete the 5th cruise.
