Were the other 30 to 40 million illegals told by a judge to leave the country? Maybe they haven't had that visit to court yet. If you're told to go...go! At this point, anyone who has been told to leave and is still here should have a personal escort to the boat. And the escorts remain there until the boat has left.

I'm sure not all of them were told by a judge to leave, but do you really think the ones that were, went? I agree, they need to be escorted out, because I highly doubt that many illegal aliens are packing up and leaving just because a judge told them to.

Not excusing it, of course, just pointing out that Obama's aunt is no different from any other illegal that politicians complain about, but ignore.

According to Merriam-Webster, that's only the second definition, "a group of persons of common ancestry: clan". The first is "a group of individuals living under one roof and usually under one head : household". I am only blood related to one other member of my household, but my husband and adoptive dd are definitely part of my family.

People become estranged from blood relatives all the time. I wouldn't call them family after that.

I just want to say I hope all McCain voter's get out and vote. I have my whole family heading off to the polls. I'm praying he can win this election. I don't want this country to get any worse than it is. I'm worried about the economy as well as our security. The guy is just scary. I took my blinders off along time ago!

Tax cuts are not sharing the wealth. Graduated taxes are not a new thing. We've had them for many many years. It's not a novel concept.

Tax cuts are not welfare...we have programs in this country that are designed to help those in need.

Tax cuts are designed to put more money in the pockets of the people. It's not sharing the wealth...it's government policy.

Those who make less money pay less in taxes...it's just the way it is.

People keep spinning and spinning and spinning the argument...and it's really ridiculous at this point.

People can see through the spin and to the truth.

It's not ironic at all.

I don't know what my family members do...and I'm not responsible for their actions. I'm not going to step up to the plate with my family members if they have made illegal choices.

Until he started running for higher office he gave a pittance to charity. Really. Less than 1%. Biden gave less than $1000 last year, on a Senator's salary.

I know I'm not the only one here on the DIS, but I am, literally, my brother's keeper. He's been totally disabled by mental illness for over 30 years. I guess it would be easier to follow Obama's lead and just say "let the government take care of him", but I feel I have a responsibility to take care of him.

More families used to think this way, but a lot has changed, in the last 50 years. I don't think we're better off for it.

I'm aware because I make it my responsibility to be aware. Believe me, there are days when I'm ready to pull my hair out and wash my hands of him completely. And I could do that. He'd end up in a homeless shelter and on government support.
