It is so sad that Bill and Hillary apparently have no concept of the "high road" and never pass up an opportunity to prove the Republicans had them correctly pegged from the beginning.

I would bet good money that a campaign between Obama and McCain will go down as one of the cleanest issue-oriented campaigns in modern history.

I agree. Based solely on that clip, I can see why so many of the resident righties hate McCain like poison! How dare he step on their precious talking points!! Who does he think he is? The new leader of the GOP?!?!

I just heard on my local news that Bill is now saying Hillary wins because she has won all the primary states, the caucus states don't count. They come up with a new way to count everyday. I guess we can disenfranchise the caucus voters because they didn't really vote.

I really don't care if FL and MI votes get counted. This is the first primary that I actually got to vote in before the nominee was chosen. I never screamed I've been disenfranchised. Rules are rules, get over it.

The real problem to me is the electorial college. I live in AL, it will go Republican, my vote won't count in the general election, you know the one that actually picks the POTUS. I will still vote, and I will vote for Obama!

Sure he could've. He could've come up with all sorts of convoluted explanations between "endorsing" and "one's pastor", etc., et., etc.

...which is also part of the reason she essentially torpedoed John Kerry in 2004, IMHO. Or, at least, the reason her support was tepid at best.

She's a political opportunist of the absolute worst sort, and I'm no longer even convinced that she would be a better option than McCain, despite the fact that I said I wouldn't vote for her. Before, I just wouldn't be giving her my vote. I'm getting more and more towards saying I'd rather see him in there than her.

Thanks for the heads up on the link. That read is an important one. People need to really understand how the Clintons think. This is scorched earth, exhibit A.
She's about out of money, and she probably realizes she may not be able to force the super delegates to vote her into the nominee slot, so...the next best thing it to make sure McCain wins.
Then, she can hop right back into the race in 2012.
It's not about loyalty, or honesty, or decency...it's about what's politically expedient for the Clintons.

That would be truly Machiavellian and I don't think she's that smart. I have never seen a helluva lot of intelligence in her. Arrogance and self-importance, yes. But not intelligence. And she the political instincts of a box of rocks.

I believe she's just making it up as she goes along. She has no plan, she's running out of money, and the SD's are dropping like flies on her.
