Sometimes in history, people get reputation for being intelligent or superb tacticians when the fact is they're lucky.
Bill Clinton wasn't smart enough to keep his pants zippered when he knew the rightwing was after him. He wasn't smart enough to understand that he did have sex with that woman and it would affect Paula Jone's suit against him.
However, he was lucky. Some people are lucky in their friends. Bill Clinton was lucky in his enemies. Clinton's enemies, like Gingrich, were even scummier than he was.
Thus he's gleefully endorsing Obama! In fact he wants to know if there's like a blow up Obama sign we can put in the front yard & he's dead serious! That's what he wants to put in our front yard if Obama is the nominee... He says if there is no such thing, he's going to put his engineering skills to work and create it LOL....
Between that and Casey's endorsement yesterday, Obama capped off a great week. And the narrative in the media is finally about how slim Hillary's chances are.
