This would make a funny SNL commercial - :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Be careful what you wish for....

Now can anyone explain to me why somebody on the liberal thread posted that Clinton said that Obama is too liberal??

What is she a conservative now? With her 300 million dollars in earmarks last year?? If she's a conservative, she just proposed spending one third more than Obama on the Mortgage mess, that doesn't make her conservative last time I checked...

Like being liberal is a bad thing, I thought we were at least on the same planet

I'm afraid she's embarking on a scorched earth, Tonya H. path. The first hint of this was when she vetted McCain and herself for commander in chief. I wish she had limits, I really do. It looks like if she can't win, she wants to make sure he won't win. Sad doesn't even begin to describe this.:sad2:

David Gregory's panel was commenting on this last night. More than a few of the guest's commented they felt that what was going on, with her vetting McCain was that he was a one term president and she will run in four years..

I'm sorry, I just read that ABC piece, we now ACTUALLY can comment that we are going to "break his back" does she mean that figuratively or literally?

You know what, John McCain will be the better President than she would any day. That's it, I've heard enough and read enough, I've given her the benefit of all doubt's, but that's enough...

It's the sense of entitlement that I find distasteful. A spirited race is one thing, downright nastiness is another. Maybe this is the stuff that made Dean and Reid have a chat. They can see things going down the drain.
I'm probably going to call it a night- time to get a little rest. Take care! :goodvibes

Good night :goodvibes I tried to go to bed but couldn't sleep, story of my life!

At this point (imo, of course) she looks so desperate (pastor remarks today) and full of bologna (Bosnia, Northern ireland, etc) I'd say "Stick a fork in her, she's done." But the 'scorched earth', Tonya Harding thing seems to mean she WANTS to take Obama down with her.

Sad. Really sad. I hope there's someone powerful enough - or enough someones- left in the party to stop this.

She needs to drop out.

She is pathetic.

She will never drop out are you kidding? A Clinton never quits the race and all that crap... the feeling of entitlement one must have... I've made up my mind, she will get no more good will from me, nor will she get my vote.

"Goonies never say die" :lmao:

I hope Harry Reid and Dean are working behind the scenes like they say - she is acting so absurd.

She's practically campaigning for McCain over Obama. Is this what she really wants for the party and country she professes to love so much?

Unfortunately, it appears that way. Fact of the matter is, her policies are extremely close to Obama's. Is she so egocentric to honestly think that she is the only person who could pull them off?
I think in the past that we've all always been big Clinton fans, sticking with his presidency through thick and thin, defending him against all Con arguments to the contrary, and this is what she wants to do with that loyalty? She going to hand this election to the Republicans if she doesn't at some point soon, see that, as of now, it's impossible for her pull ahead in states won, pledged delegates, and (now that MI and FL revotes are out) the popular vote. I'm hoping she get some semblance of reality and drop out after NC...but you never know...

Not all of us - I've been on to Clinton's duplicity since the days when he supported Faubus - the awful past segregationist governor of Arkansas because it was politically expedient.

She's really stepped in it, ya know? Hillary has no basic understanding of the military. While she was inventing her "I'm a brave hero" story, she made the military appear as if they would risk the safety of a first lady. What goes around, comes around, Hill....
(These guys are either retired or not in an active job so their comments are perfectly appropriate)
From the article:
"Believe me, heads would have rolled all over" if the military put the then-first lady at "unacceptable risk," added Stewart, who is supporting Barack Obama.

Air Force Lt. Gen. Buster Glosson, a John McCain supporter who ran the air attack in the first Gulf War, said, "It bothers me any time anyone running for the highest office in the land fabricates a story.

"That should bother any American, whether you're military or nonmilitary."

Another source, a former Army analyst who was stationed abroad when dignitaries visited, said, "You know, we have soldiers overseas now who are getting shot at by real bullets from real enemies who really want to kill them.

"Getting shot at by snipers is not something you forget - or make light of," he added.

"If getting shot at by sniper fire qualifies you to be president, then there are thousands of guys in the military right now who are way more qualified than Hillary Clinton to be our next president."

Hillary's "misstatement" was extremely stupid of her. Falls under the "What were you THINKING?!" category, no doubt. :headache:

Watching the news this morning, they played about 15 seconds of her attempt to reignite the Wright issue, followed by a 4-5 minutes of why she would do it, bringing up the sniper lie and her loss in states won, her impossible task of winning in pledged delegates, and now that MI and FL are officially out, her inability to catch Obama in the popular vote. Noone's buying into the Clinton sitcom anymore, and the party's tiring of talk of her going nuclear and tanking Barack's chances so she can run again come 2012. She's got to see the writing on the wall her sooner or later, doesn't she?
