I posted as I was told :yay:

In regards to dress - I really fretted over that for the Med cruise last year, but this year - I am like - ok have a nice pair of dress crepe black pants and a couple of nice tops - one sweater with lace and the other is lace over something - that with my sandles and I am just going to wing it

Kara on the other hand - she doesn't have much in the line of 'dress up clothes' she might end up with her dress band concert pants and a nice top
She was thinking about the homecoming dress she wore 2 years ago - and it don't fit anymore - thanks to all that butterfly swimming she has done since :rotfl:

I am under packing. I don't want the stress of the suitcases again this year. remind me of that when you see me amidst all my luggage :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I might wear the red top and black skirt from the Xmas cruise, it was and is the most comfortable outfit.:thumbsup2

ok, ok, here I am. I had to post to let you all know that you have been dooped by the Artman...he isn't really that funny. And he's using up all his best material here on the boards and will probably not say much the whole cruise:confused3 Nahh, he is pretty funny. I laugh at him a lot. You sometimes just can't help yourself.

I am getting a little nervous about the clothing issue for all the dress up nights. I don't think I will be able to pack enough stuff in my suitcase to get me through the trip to Disney and the cruise. I plan on dressing sort of nice for our dinners and I have a dress and shoes for formal night but not New Years (don't tell Artie, he thinks I have all the clothes I need). I think he is wearing a grey suit and Owen most likely will were a jacket and dress pants. I don't have a suit for him and I don't think I will get one just for the cruise. Are many of you putting your men in tuxes? Will Artie be underdressed in a suit? I like the shorts, t-shirt and cumber bun idea;)

As for shopping on the trip...well, I might like that just a little. But ladies, I need your help. Can you get me away from Artie long enough to spend his (oops, I mean SOME) money.:rolleyes1 I really want to get some sandles on Key West (for me and my mom) and I'd LOVE to find a beautiful ring and a nice pair of pearl earrings. Other than that the vanilla and key lime juice sounds good and Artie wants a t-shirt from Cast Away. Then there is always impulse shopping:woohoo: ...but I digress.

I can't wait for the trip. Let me know what night you will all be joining us in our cabin for a sleep over. For all the smack Artie talks about having a bunch of women stay with us, I'd love to see the look on his face if a bunch of you showed up in your jammies. :scared1:

:tink:

Claudia.no worries....you will have OHHHH SOOOO MANY opps to shop....you are definitely invited to shop with Chel & I on Grand cayman...Rus & Ryan are to go diving there...so it's a girls shopping trip ...can't wait to read the PM's Aisling is sending.:woohoo:

PS....i'm going to get Ryan a tux i think so there IS more room in his suitcase for some of my stuff

Waah - I don't have a red outfit

Doubling up piece usage would help ::yes::

My Palo dress was my formal without the jacket. Bottoms can be matched with multiple shirts to lighten the load and I find rolling my clothes instead of folding honestly makes for more room in the case *and* keeps away the wrinkles~

John will go the suit route - I put him in a tux once and he was Mi-ser-a-ble!

She'll need a new one for this year's homecoming right? Shop now and get one that she could use for both~Brittany used her prom dress, I think Stef's was too. (Stef is the one in purple.)

we booked ours back in Feb & pd $332 from Monterey to SFO & SFO to MCO....I would SO MUCH rather fly out of MRY then SFO - the security line & the drive there is painless!!!!

Nobody left Mom off the memo...that was completely her own doing ;)

I am still trying to figure out how to get gold into John's outfit :scratchin

Hey Artman, can you get more than one Gold Lame suit? ;)

Haven't even thought of homecoming as of yet eekkkkkk - though we do have her prom dress already - but it is too much for homecoming

I looked at airfare and it looks like they are around 500-600, not great.

I'm asking mom tomorrow during dinner (Lee & I are taking her out to celebrate dad's bday tomorrow night) if she wants to cruise.

So I'll have a for sure plan in the next few days either way...

As 'puffy' as it is - it would pretty much take up a whole suitcase - though we will give it a thought

:)

Mythbusters were trying to prove (or not) that you can suffocate by having your body covered in gold paint.

I guess since Artman's not wearing his I'll hafta find something else for John.

;)

I'm going over to the PA mall in Oxford today to get my Disney Store fix in, I'll hafta check the men's dept at Penny's, Macy's & Lord & Taylor and see what I can find that'll be "holiday worthy."

I got my Jammies ready for the sleepover, I need to put it in my itinerary tho - which night are we doing this on?

I think it's the same night I'll be sleeping on a deck chair.

The answer to woman problems is never more women.

I knew that - I just thought it would be cute :flower3:

Trust me, there would be nothing cute about it. I'm speaking for myself, John can make his own call.

Mel just threw a monkey wrench in my tux plan.
He said if Formal Night were to be on NYE, he'd be happy to wear a tux.
And he'd rather just wear a suit/jacket/tie on the "regular" Formal Night.

I was asked why I put the poll on the regular cruise board (someone who asked not to be mentioned felt that people not on our cruise may answer the poll). Well, I thought if I put it on the Meets board, it would have been moved by the mods. And I don't think I can put a poll into a thread I didn't start, which is this one.

Anyway, TGIF everyone!
