NYE Western Cruise 2008 - New Thread

i spend (spent) SOOOOO much on board - i didn't need to buy much onland...but did buy some cute shirts etc. in cozumel...some cool stuff in KW from Margaritaville & another t-shirt shop - nothing in GC (which is why Chel & I are shopping GC).....
the stuff on board was for me...the land purchases were gifts.....

The ports that we stop in this cruise have better items for sale than the Eastern. Not as many jewelers at these ports.

Shopping - right now thinking if open will stop at the sandle store at Key West

On board - Kara so far has requested a beach towel - which will get used - and I am sure t shirt or two for us

other stops - no clue maybe a bottle of real vanilla if I can find it

I'm pretty sure i remember seeing some right at the port stop in Cozumel....Mexican Vanilla is fabulous!

My souvies have been getting smaller and smaller as the years go by. Pins have been my thing for a few years now. We've done the towels and tshirts and shoulder bags and beach bags. I don't wear jewelry that often but could totally use some silver earrings from Mexico~

In Key West I plan on picking up some key lime stuff.

ok, ok, here I am. I had to post to let you all know that you have been dooped by the Artman...he isn't really that funny. And he's using up all his best material here on the boards and will probably not say much the whole cruise Nahh, he is pretty funny. I laugh at him a lot. You sometimes just can't help yourself.

I am getting a little nervous about the clothing issue for all the dress up nights. I don't think I will be able to pack enough stuff in my suitcase to get me through the trip to Disney and the cruise. I plan on dressing sort of nice for our dinners and I have a dress and shoes for formal night but not New Years (don't tell Artie, he thinks I have all the clothes I need). I think he is wearing a grey suit and Owen most likely will were a jacket and dress pants. I don't have a suit for him and I don't think I will get one just for the cruise. Are many of you putting your men in tuxes? Will Artie be underdressed in a suit? I like the shorts, t-shirt and cumber bun idea

As for shopping on the trip...well, I might like that just a little. But ladies, I need your help. Can you get me away from Artie long enough to spend his (oops, I mean SOME) money. I really want to get some sandles on Key West (for me and my mom) and I'd LOVE to find a beautiful ring and a nice pair of pearl earrings. Other than that the vanilla and key lime juice sounds good and Artie wants a t-shirt from Cast Away. Then there is always impulse shopping ...but I digress.

I can't wait for the trip. Let me know what night you will all be joining us in our cabin for a sleep over. For all the smack Artie talks about having a bunch of women stay with us, I'd love to see the look on his face if a bunch of you showed up in your jammies.
