Mom did Xcaret, I tried to call - sorry no answer~

Niece and sis did too, they seem to be at a cheerleading thing tonight.

Waiting for John. Brittany and I are getting dolled up for dinner.

I looked more into it and it seems to be a good chunk of time in terms of getting there and getting back and I'm not sure I want to do that with two small children. I started looking at more stuff and have now found what might fit us - Passion Island - looks interesting and more relaxing and the tour I found is about 5 hours. My big thing is I don't want to get back to the ship so late we won't have time to nap, etc. as that will be New Years Eve.

This is what I found so far about it:

I looked at what my old passporter has, there's not alot offered for folks with little kids. I did read that the Xcaret has 1.5 hour drive each way tho~

Thanks for looking - I still need to dig mine out but I can't get over how much clutter we have (and yes I swear it started after we had kids).....

Tigg - I'm sorry if I didn't get back to you on the prints for the t-shirts. Was wanting to get 4 total full size ones (2 adult ones and 2 child sized ones) - is that ok?

Ok - got the website updated with the new dinner page - I just took what Aisling had already graciously gathered and posted that in there. I also moved the dining rotation over to that page as well so it didn't clutter the first page you see.

To get to the dinner info page just click on the link at the top of any of the pages.

Aisling - I updated Chad and Louise for the fish extenders.

disneykelly73 - I updated the excursions page to show you guys joining us in Grand Cayman.

EVERYONE - let me know if I missed anything or you want something to add. I know we are getting closer so folks will have more excursions planned, etc. (www.themcmurphys.com/2008_NewYearsEve_Disneycruise.html)

BTW - for those that were wondering the REAS package was 359 for the two of us. I just added it on this month so I wouldn't forget before the 105 day mark. On that day I hope to make our palo dinner and get Sean into flounders for the 10 hours we can prebook.

Anjelica, I had you down as wanted four full size blue logos for the back of 2 adult and 2 child's tees. I also noted you wanted a small logo for the front of each.

I can do it either way...

do you want front and back or just the one full size for each?

Judy, our local Walgreens had button forms. They were 2 for $3. I think I can get a better price at the craft store. Did you say you already had the pin forms or needed to get some? I can resize the logo to fit these very easily.

Who all is interested in Pins if I make them?

I have Brenda, Anjelica, Aisling and Deb on the list for tshirt transfers~

Anybody else gonna need logos to make tshirts?

Great job on the website btw!!!

Your pictures on the side are a very nice touch~

:thumbsup2

Thanks!!!!

Yes - lets go with the four full size logos - 2 adult and 2 child - for the back of the t-shirt only - nothing for the front. Thanks again!!!

After much research we decided to do an excursion, on Cozumel, to Passion Island. Trip Advisor had it as it's #2 things to do (out of 117) in Cozumel. I also found a company to book with that does NOT do the ship tours (all private) so you can stay on the island more than the 3 hours that the ship tours allow. You do have to pay all up front but it is 100% refundable if the ship does not port that day.

http://www.tourcozumel.net/tc_beach_adv.html (80 per adult and 60 per child - children under 3 are free). It also includes a full buffet and open bar ("premium" alcohol is still charged), transportation. I read great reviews of this company on cruise critic.

I provided all the above information in case others are still wondering what they want to do so they have all the info

Hey guys...stopping in for a quick update and prayer request.

Mom's house is in escrow supposed to close this Friday (fingers crossed)

I'm still on the fence about taking the trip or not. Some days it's yes other days it's no. Just hard to decide which is the right choice. We are taking mom out to dinner tonight and I'm going to tell her about the house and maybe talk with her about the trip and see if she is interested.

The other request I have is for my dear friend Kaylee, who I met on the repo cruise. She has just been diagnosed with MS. She like me is a mom of 2 (girls) with a great DH, Scott. We banned together with their family and another and had wonderful times on our trip. Please send prayers for Kaylee, for strenght and wellness and for courage for her family in dealing with this terrible news.

I'm reading all you write here, just haven't been able to join in the chatter, but I'm loving it.

Know my thougths are with all of you,

Nan

Oh Nan, I'm so sorry about your friend. MS is cruel, especially when you have young kids. She's definitely in my prayers, and I'll tell my priest friends to keep her name in God's ears. Bombarding heaven with prayers is what they call it.

About the cruise, take it one step at a time. You still have the ressie, get the house sold, speak to Mom, and see what happens. Let everything fall into place the way it's meant to be. I do hope to see you and to meet Mom on the cruise, but you know we're friends forever, and will meet up one way or another.
(You, too, Grim and Dede!)

I go for my first workout with my personal trainer tonight. He promised to whip me into shape by December, so we'll see.

The Tom Jones concert was OMG fantastic! That man is HOT, even at his age. (Impure thoughts be gone! LOL). Women were flinging panties onto the stage, and screaming like schoolgirls...I hope I didn't deafen anyone! Even my kids enjoyed it.

So now I'm going to buy an ipod as per Nicko's orders to use during cardio.

Tig, the animal pics are beautiful, except for the BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nan, I agree with Aisling 100% on your account...take the time you have to decide. Noone is rushing you and we all wish you the BEST no matter which way you gotta go.

I believe like Aisling, if it's meant to happen, it will.

Aisling my dear. They are no less dangerous than those lions were. I think all animals have the sweetest faces. My favorites are when they seem to be looking me straight in the eyes~

Nan, I interview with a chiropractor who swears that MS can be helped thru adjustments. It's a nerve problem and he thinks realigning the nerves helps make people with MS function better. Anything's worth a try in my opinion. MS can be so ugly if untreated~

I'm sending Kaylee and your Mom lots of Pixie Dust that all their dreams are good ones~

That's just scary to me, especially gorillas, when they look right at you. I don't know, maybe I was mauled by an animal in a past life!

Thanks for the kind words for both Kaylee and for me and the trip.

Kaylee is a doctor herself, and works in the field of Naturopathic medicine. I think she will be searching high and low for all that works on her behalf. I'm both calmed and sadden for her due to her profession. I know she will be a good researcher, but I also know that she knows what to expect on the down side.

I'll be in touch with news on either topic.

Keep bombarding with those prayers

Nan, you are strong I know you will be good for her. :thumbsup2

Off to AK :wizard:

Goruphug :grouphug:

Can't spell - but I like the way it sounds (hee hee)

Yes, Mom said AK!

She's in FL now. Took 10th in Nationals, only the top 8 moved on to finals. She seems fine with her placing 10th and was *very* happy to be on her way to Disney after being eliminated~

Have a Great Day Mom!!!

Wow Jill's in WDW! Who wishes they were in WDW right now, raise your hand!

Hi everyone! I will be leaving for California this Saturday and heading out on the PC repo August 17 . . . when we get back in September I will be in full-time planning mode for this cruise and will be much more active here!:goodvibes
