Hi everyone! I will be leaving for California this Saturday and heading out on the PC repo August 17 . . . when we get back in September I will be in full-time planning mode for this cruise and will be much more active here!

Hello all....did ya think i went for a walk and forgot to come back??? nooooo - just busy for some darn reason...uggghhh...had a crop event sat - bd party for niece yesterday - and an absolute CRAZY day at work...so just got caught up....

Chad - i need to check out your photos of FL....i did see your Italy photos & they were awesome!!!! i posted some of ours on my 'myspace' page....you can get to it via Colleen's or direct at myspace.com/bstsuda (& just where is Aisling's page???)

Nan....i am so very sorry to hear of kaylee's diagnosis....i have 2 stepsisters with MS - one who was diagnosed MANY MANY years ago...it's taken a toll but she is surviving pretty well - has a great husband who really helps with all of that...her older sister was diagnosed 2.5 yrs ago...she's doing well but left her unsupportive husband & is doing okay without him....she exercises to help her strong...walking / light weights etc. P&PD to Kaylee as well~and for you

angelica - going over to check out the website...it's been awhile since i've been there too

Aisling, I am raising my hand... I would LOVE to be in Disney right now.

Now promise not to laugh.
I went to the Adventurers club the first night I was here. Right after I unpacked & had dinner.

The majority of the characters that have played the rolls are still there.

I have always looked at all of the artifacts; however, this time I studied them closer.

On one of the podcasts I was listening to they said there was a rumor that in a couple of years there was going to be a new nighttime area opening up.
I asked the bartender about this & he hasn't heard anything like that.

I also asked what was going to happen to all of things. He said there was one particular person that had donated most of them & he was going to come and collect them back.

I will be going back there tomorrow night & taking oodles of pics. I don't have to worry about movies because on several of the podcasts they have taken movies & I have definitely saved them.

The general comments of the other guests ("Adventurer Club Members") are they cannot believe the club is closing & why is Disney doing this?

Sounds like you had a FANTASTIC time. Yes.. I was astounded that all the regulars were there!!! lol.. We enjoyed our last time there a lot. I just wish that they would keep this one establishment open. There truly is NOTHING else like it.

Too tired and busy to try to catch up. Band camp last week was very tiring--and all I did was babysit and feed them. We had a few pass out. I actually kind of miss it though. It was really neat to see them start from nothing and end up with a show. This was the first year I was there everyday.

Made Brian's appointment for his driving test for this Friday!

Continental changed our flight home from 1:45 to 3:30. They also changed all our seats and we weren't together. I had to call and they fixed them.

Off to order Kelly's senior pictures. We've narrowed our choices down to 8 from 40. Now we need to narrow it down to 1 main photo, and I'll just have to buy the extra proofs $$$!

Just a little note about the performers. Last year I happened to see one of them in the sir Lancelot show in EPCOT. Knowing they don't come out of character, I said there was someone in EPCOT that looked just like him. He laughed & said that was his twin brother.

The point - I guess they will find other parts suited for them & we will see them again. Well, off to the Magic Kingdom.

Hey Magic Mateys,
have you read the thread on the main cruise board that if you have linked dinner reservations, they get linked in such a way that when it's time to book excursions/spa/Palo online, only one party can do it at a time?

A few people are really annoyed by this change in policy by DCL. Well, I just want to assure my dinnermates that my group won't be a hindrance to you when it's time to book online...if any of you plan on going online at midnight when the bookings open, I'll just wait until later. There's nothing I'm dying to get, so I can wait until you all have booked. Maybe DCL will change back to the old way by then, but just in case they don't, I'll put myself at the end of the line trying to get on, no problem.

DS has his senior portraits taken next month....choosing the photos can be SOOOO hard....& then yeah - really pricey too.....he is having studio shots (required by HS) so all the kids look the same....& then we're going to the beach where his older sister had hers taken so we can have similar shots done...he can have up to 8 outfits for the beach shots....uhhh yeah right...that's a girl thing...i'll be lucky if he has one change of clothes

haven't read that at all....but seems kind of weird to have that policy....but since we are linked & if we want to have a big group at Palo, can that be done by you? I know in the past, since i'm the only one in my group that can make a palo reserv - i've only been able to make it for 2 persons....uggghhh....but was easy to change once on board....

Hi Aisling, I too read that gem.. I am at the 105 days.. so.. I think just Brenda and I are at that point. I was planning on staying at my mom's on the 11th til midnight.. jumping on and reserving my palo dinner and brunch and the tulum ruins.. then hopping off and going home.

Brenda what are your plans? I dont really think we have much to worry about at the 105 day.

Oh.. and yes.. you caught me.. I am an Adventurer's Club FANATIC!!! lol

Hi Aisling, I too read that gem.. I am at the 105 days.. so.. I think just Brenda and I are at that point.

Yeah, I think Brenda was concerned about that I would have to book everyone else's Palo for them, since we're linked through my ressie. But that's not it. Supposedly, if we all attempt to book at the same time, it'll be first come first served in our group, since our ressies are all on the same "page".

Are you at 105 because of REAS? When is the Castaway Club opening date?
