Kaz and Scooby, yes she spotted my Pirate Mickey antenna topper, and flagged me down! We had a hurried, but fun day together, meeting up with Brenda and Ryan at the airport. Jesse came, too, so he and Ryan have a headstart on their friendship for the cruise.

Claudia, enjoy the rest of your birthday!

Judy, how are you? You've been a bit quiet!

I am home...got home around 745. Sorry for not checking in right away Aisling - John and I went out for Sushi as soon as I walked in the door~

We are HOME after an incredible time thru the beautiful Italy from Rome to Venice. it didn't work out to meet up with Aisling's son Chad which made me sad, but we did get to meet Aisling, Colleen & Jesse at JFK yesterday for lunch. THANK YOU for making the trip to see us....It was SOOOOO great to see you both again & to meet Jesse. He & Ryan are just alike...they will be great friends by the time the cruise ends for sure!!!! Uploading photos now from both cameras - so will post a few later & need to get caught up with all the chats & the news. I did see it was Claudia's BD a day or so ago. Sorry I missed that...HAPPY BELATED BD Claudia!!!

Hi everyone,

Just got back from a week at Hilton Head Island. Had great weather all week. We did nothing but sit by the pool and beach--very relaxing. Have unpacking and laundry to do. I'll catch up later.

Judy

Sounds like my kinda beach vacation :beach:

Welcome Home~

How do you go? Did you drive or fly out?

I got all today's photos edited and posted to myspace...John's so into going to see Wall.E he wants to go at 930 tomorrow morning...:hyper: I'm in!

Finding Aisling was easy once I got my bearings, the pirate helped! We had done this same pick up once before...except, not only did I miss my train, I came up on the wrong street. Doh!

I met Mom and got to see Jesse and meet Mel. Aisling and I got to chat...alot! She drove me everywhere! incl. Ground zero and Coney Island. Seeing Brenda and meeting Ryan was fah-bu-lous! Lunch was even tasty~

Hi again,

I like everyone's pictures. That's neat that you guys got together to meet each other.

We drove to Hilton Head. We usually leave at 3 am. This time we did it in two days. I'm too old and tired to get up that early and sit in the car for 12 hours!! We left for home at 6 am which was a little better, and drove straight through till we got home around 6 pm. I was still dizzy and nauseated all day though.

Who do I give my info to so I am on the first page as an official cruiser?

I still check (even though I already purchased my flights) everyday, and the price of my flight is now $939!!! (per person round trip) If things don't change, I'll be driving down for future cruises.

My "baby" turns 16 on Friday the 4th of July!!

We actually met last Sept while i was in NYC celebrating bds with my HS friend. Aisling met us at the airport & took us in to Manhattan & then she, Colleen & another friend came back on Sat & we all shopped at the Disney Store & had lunch together. So this was great to see them again!!! it was the 1st time the boys had met though~

Gooooooooooooood morning, Cruisers!

I'm back from upstate NY, took my mom to my sister's house in the Catskills, and slept all day yesterday. Just got out of church, and I'm ready to start my day. Mel's on vacation, but he went in anyway, the freak!!! (Said lovingly, LOL). Jesse's friend from Florida came up to stay with us for 2 weeks, so all the kids are here catching up on old times. I'm going to have a house full of teenage boys for the next 2 weeks!!

Tig, did you get a mad thunderstorm last night? It was so loud, the car alarms went off! It sounded like the end of the world! Sunny and HOT today.

Judy, glad you had a good time at Hilton Head. It's on my "future vacation destination" list! Are you doing anything special for your baby's 16th birthday? We need a separate official list of the teens on our cruise. Ryan was asking about that, how many teens will be on the cruise. Anyone want to volunteer to make up a list?

Catching up

Happy Birthday to everyone who had a b day

our stateroom number is 7624

Yes to fish exchange

Pre WDW stay - AKL 12/26 - no post stay

Kara is 17

Was it decided on fish exchange - one per stateroom or what?

Let me know if I missed updating anything

No decisions on excursions - though thinking for Key West - just exploring - might want to start with the sandle shop everyone talks about - Kara wants Pirate museum - thinking about Hemmingway's house - have to 'sneak' in some history etc

Also looking at a Maya ruins tour - isn't there a all day one?

Kara is looking at the teen thing at Castaway - me - not sure I would last all day on the beach - as Kara said - " if you do - we can slap some butter on ya and stick a fork in ya - because you will be burnt to a crisp" - I am a very fair red head

Hi Everyone! Just doing some catching up. Aisling usually keeps us posted but i figured i log on and check it out for myself. BBL

:goodvibes

Wanted to confirm and get it posted on the website regarding the group boat on Grand Cayman as the following people:
My family = 4 people
Deb family = 2 people
Aisling family = 6 people
and Tiggerwannabe = 2 people +1 (Trinijbill)

Deb, Aisling, Tiggerwannabe and Trinijbill - let me know if that's correct and if you want me to put down the names of those going in your group with us.

I know I booked it for 15 people so now I am just making sure I accounted for all 15.

That's right. Two for us.

Hi everybody.
Tigg, I'm so glad that you and John are going.
Jill, you look awesome in your costume. Congrats on your win.
Aisling, good for you for getting on the tredmill.

I'm going to call tonight for the Candlelight Processional on Dec. 26th. I'm hoping to get the 6:45 show so that we can get to Aisling's open door get together at a reasonable hour.

We may be bringing Aaron after all. Things are better with him and he has gotten a B average on his last two report cards. He's on a Carnival cruise right now, with his mother, and I'm sure he'll come home and tell us he would like to go with us. I'm not sure how we'll afford for him to go, but we'll work it out.

Hi everyone, just checking in. We are enjoying our extra long Canada Day weekend.

We have changed our pre cruise stay to Port Orlean's Riverside, to save a little money. We were able to add the dining package and still come in over $1000 less.

We are in the middle of closing on a cottage property on the river near our home, so we have to cut back the spending a little bit.

Here are some pics of the property if anyone is interested. It is about 1 mile up river from the Atlantic Ocean and right next door to the LaHave River Yacht Club. It is out on a point with a direct view east and west, so you can see sunrise and set. It is our dream come true.

Yay! I'm assuming you're planning for him to stay onboard the ship during the Cayman excursion?? Please let us know if you're able to get the date/time you want for the CP.

Happy Canada Day, Artman and Claudia! And many congratulations on your dream come true. It's gorgeous, what amazing views. Definitely worth skipping the BC for POR!!

Yes, unless there is an excursion that he can do on his own or with someone else in our group. We'll see! He's going to have to show me that he really wants to go on the cruise and that he will appreciate it. He didn't get excited about the cruise he's on now till 3 days before. And since he was so bratty, about not going if he couldn't bring his girlfriend, I would like him to ask us If we would still consider taking him.

I loved the picture of you, Colleen and Brenda.

Belated Happy Birthday Claudia.
