Anyone planning on hitting Howard's goodbye show and concert with Sheryl Crow and Stained tomorrow morning before he heads over to Sirius? It's taking place on 56th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues from 8am to 10am and should be a blast. The weather looks to warm up quite a bit tomorrow and hopefully, this storm blows through tonight. I'm thinking about resetting my early morning appointments and checking the fun out...you know that it'll be crazy!

My BIL is going up to NYC around 2 am tonight to start partying!

I would love to see Staind but if there are no trains - I am going to miss it!

Let him know that they aren't allowing people to sleep out overnight...they're going to pass out wristbands at 6am to get your position in line, although you know the area's going to be swamped!

I actually have the day off tomorrow as does the BF. He wants to go but I don't know if I want to wake up that early on a day off!

I've been listening to Stern for close to 20 years. I feel like I'm losing my morning (sick!) friends.
I may have to break down and get sirius.....

did you catch KC yesterday and Jackie today?

it was really great to hear them on the show...like old times...

F Jackie!!!

Do it! It's worth it!

One of my co-workers is going to the party tomorrow.

Didn't hear KC, but listened to Jackie this morning. I was dying laughing, especially when they were talking about the time when Jackie read Robin's autobiography aloud on the air!! I wish Howard would hook him up with his own show on Sirius. If Jackie's at the concert tomorrow, the crowd's going to go nuts!

I wish I could go. I am just a little far away though. :(

We are ready to join him on the other side, as we have our Sirius!!!! :Pinkbounc

I wish I could go, but I have work. I listen to him in the mornings on the way into work...man I'm going to miss his show. Does anyone know if they are going to play old shows until David Lee Roth starts? If not, I wander what they are going to play in between shows?

I have felt really sad all day today. Listening to Robin's last newscast was really weird. I've been a loyal listener for 20 years now, and have grown to hate all those horrible "zoo" programs and imitators. I got Sirius, but I doubt my boss will allow me to listen while I'm working.

I'll always be greatful to Howard for making every morning drive to work enjoyable. F Jackie, and F the FCC!!

On K-Rock in NYC, I think that they're moving The Booker Show (ugh!) to mornings until Dave comes on. The rest of the country is getting "Best Of Howard" I think. I'm glad that I got my Sirius, I can tell you that!!

He really messed up by leaving. He knows it. Hey,maybe he'll join them again

Here they are merging another station with the one Howard was on. The show replacing him with has always been a Stern clone so it will be an acceptable trasition for most.

I just remeber that Yahoo has set up a webcast of the entire farewell show so you can check it out at home if you like!

I thought they were doing Best of until Jan 3rd. moving Booker to 6 or 7 at night. I have it on now, and I think he mentioned something about him going on vacation until the 3rd. Sounds like the whole station will be off until Roth starts.

I could have sworn that I heard a promo for Booker in the mornings, but you might be right. I only pay attention to the music during the Booker Show...all the goofy chatter in between the songs kind of blends together.
