NWA charges for Exit Row seats

I've never been interested in pursuing really high status with any airline;
Me either, though I generally only book NW, because I'm in a hub city, and they are almost always the only direct routing. I can't imagine why anyone would bother with mileage/segment runs---at my hourly rate, there's just no way in Hades to justify the time lost!

Im with you on this one Brian! Also, NW is usually the cheapest (sometimes even cheaper then SW, Spirit Airtran or any other low fare carrier). Not to mention, they have a great amount of flight options....

So, for me at least, I will still fly NW even if i have to pay $15 for an aisle seat and $5 for each carry on...

I fly out of DTW more times than I'd rather count. While I prefer NWA because most of it's flights are non-stop to the destinations I need to get to, I really like the new terminal a lot better. However, that doesn't preclude me from flying SWA on a cheapo flight or signing up for the new SPIRIT frequent flyer program.

I am flying on a RR ticket on SWA on Good Friday to MCO and snagged a dang cheap flight in June on SPIRIT. For a trip to San Antonio this summer. NWA was coming in cheaper and as a non stop.

I am more than willing to have a carry on fee. Maybe some of the pax that insist on flying with all their worldly belongings in the overhead will reconsider. I also wish there would be a $5 for oversized bags brought onboard that need to be gate checked!!!

Actually, I think such passengers should have the option of paying $100, or making a public apology to the rest of the plane for holding it up. ;)

AMEN!!!

I can't even begin to count how many flights I have been on that have been delayed pushing back because some pax insists that their luggage will fit into that overhead! How about a $100 fine AND a public apology???
