Yes, it was the same architect for GC, WL and AKL. I love those styles! I think I'll feel like I'm going "home".

I haven't spent much time at AKV other than dinner at Jiko one night but I love GC and VWL. I still think if an addon came along for there, we would bite. Just love that resort. I think that is why we love HHI. The rooms remind me somewhat of the same style as VWL. But I know that getting to VWL every year is not realistic and HHI is our favorite desination. Does that make sense?

I'll be excited to hear what you think of VGC. I guess I have high expectations for that resort based on VWL and GC.

I noticed that same feeling about HHI when I looked at the pictures of the different DVC resorts. It made me really want to try and get there sometime. There's a 50 pt VWL contract at The Timeshare Store that hadn't been snatched up yet! A little banking, a little borrowing and you'd be right there for Xmas.

I've never thought it would be that bad to have a different UY - and yours would be so close that I'd think it might even be easier. For my add-ons (listen to me - multiple add on's!) I'd actually prefer a different UY (if it's different than my home resort). It seems like the biggest problem people mention (other than just having a different banking deadline to remember) might be having just a small amt of pts and not having them be enough for a nights reservation. To me that seems managable as well......but then, I'm a bad influence!!!

I'm up to speed. First of all, in case any has noticed it's now mid-May football season is only a few months away so I become distracted from my beloved Disney stuff. As I have posted in the past I am a football Coach. I recently told the guy that I have been coaching with that I would not be returning to his staff. I did this in a way that would make a truck driver blush. I was the offensive coordinator and he is the head coach at a local high school. Anyway, I wont get into why I left but believe me you would take my side, especially where you would only hear my side. Well, I put in for, basically my dream job or at least one of only a few jobs that I would consider my dream job and tonight I got it! I know a lot of you could probably care less where it's not Disney related but after close to twenty years of coaching to finally end up with this, unreal. This past week I have been putting together presentations and playbooks for the interviews so I haven't been on here as much as normal but that is the reason why. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight. Strange part is I belong to a football forum for coaches that coach my style of offense and I haven't even posted on there yet my dis-board friends know before football friends. Priorities.

Second of all I'm in to good a mood to bash Aunt Edna or anyone else but I will say, Grandbuddy, that's awesome !!!!!! Tammy, I didn't see any post from you on that thread, I'm assuming they were pulled, are you in Dis-trouble??? I hope not.

Congratulations Ed! How awesome to get your dream job!!!! I also think that is better than Disney. And now you have both! My only dream job has been working at Disney. The closest I came was working at another theme park so I figure I actually have some qualifications....but they'll have to move the parks out of Florida - I can't take the humidity for that long of time. I wonder if they'd do that for me?

Susan, I think for those kind of plans, 2 UY won't be any trouble at all. Kris' new contract is a different UY and she isn't very concerned.

I talked to my DH all day about adding AKV. He said he didn't care, but he wasn't terribly proactive either. I think I will add, I just need him to really not care. I told Bernard I'd call him on Monday.

I'm looking at an II trade. I'd love to go to Curacao next year...just have to figure out the logistics..

Thanks everyone. Like I said before I know it's not "Disney" but I still felt like I had to tell all of you what was happening. It's about 6:30 on a Saturday morning I've been up for an hour and a half I got no sleep last night, I'm worked up. I have absolutely no reason to be up at this hour. As for the Details that GB and Bob were asking for yes it is another O.C. job to be honest that is what I want, people always ask me why I don't want the head coaching jobs but to be honest, I love offense, that is what I love doing. If I moved on to be the head coach somewhere, to be successful you have to be involved with everything, including school administrators, parents (present company excluded) and reporters which I'd rather not have to deal with. For my fellow Massachusetts people if your wondering where I'm at it's Peabody High School.
Laxmom, it's funny I was thinking about you last night, I went down to the school to meet with the Head Coach again and we met outside the school at the lacrosse field while there was a game going on. Lacrosse is such a fun game to watch, I wish they had it at my school when I was growing up.

Laxmom, it's funny I was thinking about you last night, I went down to the school to meet with the Head Coach again and we met outside the school at the lacrosse field while there was a game going on. Lacrosse is such a fun game to watch, I wish they had it at my school when I was growing up.

A lot of people say that!! Laxlad had practice last night with the Varsity. Only 10 showed up and of that, he was the only JV that was asked to play that went, out of 4 or 5.

There is great NCAA lacrosse on ESPNU this weekend if anyone wants to get a taste of this game. It is the quarterfinals with 2 games today and 2 tomorrow. Maryland/Va at noon, Hopkins/Navy at 2:30. Tomorrow OSU/Duke at noon, Notre Dame/Syracuse at 2:30.

I am so excited for you, HR. I don't care if it isn't Disney! It's freakin awesome!!! Yep, I said freakin!! Can you say freakin? We'll see. You're gonna need your DVC vacations to recover from football, huh. You won't be alone on those sidelines. Your Disbuds will be there too! It's gonna be a crowded sideline!

Tammy, I only saw the one post, did they remove one or edit that one? I would like to go to Curacao or Bon Aire, also. We have been to Aruba and loved it. I would love to check out the other islands in that chain. When we snorkeled there, we were swarmed by the biggest blue Parrot fish I have every seen! I am thinking of trying to find a digital, waterproof camera for DH for Dad's day and his birthday which are this summer.

Yea, well I was really tempted by the VWL points and DH said he didn't care. I am still thinking but.....it would actually cost me more to purchase those points than add on at HHI. I am still thinking but am leaning toward waiting. I don't think that contract with be there long. Yep, already gone. When the right one comes, I will know it but I think I want more HHI points first.

It is interesting that parents somehow, sometimes manage to mess things up for their kids by acting childish.
