Number to call for merchandise??

Does anyone have the number that you can call to order merchandise from WDW? I tried to search for it but I couldn't get it to work. Do you need to know what store the merchandise was in or can you just ask if they have something? Thanks!

They were very helpful in tracking down something that my son saw at one resort but we were unable to find it on the rest of our trip.

We called after we got home and had great results.
