NPBC Compass Club booked for 2016

I've just booked a 2016 holiday to the magic staying in a Compass Club Lake View Room at the Newport Bay Club using the 2 days, 2 nights free offer.

DW decided she wanted to go in February in 2016, so I have booked the first week in February before the French schools break up on their holidays and before the UK school holidays so hopefully the parks should be nice and quite.

It was the CMs first 2016 booking and her first Compass Club room, not sure who was more excited her or me.

From what information the CM had the rooms will have fridges / min-bars and you will get a Fastpass per day plus use of the Compass Club lounge for breakfast and snacks and drinks during the day. Sounds very much like the Golden Forest in the Sequoia Lodge.

Sounds lovely Jonjo, congrats on your booking. Do you also get a cooked breakfast there?

I do hope so, the CM did not have much information at the moment, soI guess we will just have to wait and see.

Yae for booking!!! I wonder is the compass lounge where the captains quaters were?? We paid extra to hav brekkie there last year and it was fab , there was hot food a fresh fruit it lovely.

From what I can gather the whole lobby floor of the NPBC which contains the reception desk, shop and the bars is being completely remodelled with a new Compass Club lounge being created apparently.

The existing bars, and reception area are being moved so I guess we are just going to have to wait and see what it all looks like once the refurbishment is finished and the Compass Club opens for business in January 2016.
