Nowhere to go.

I agree about the police costs, but I was referencing the mortuary expenses, which it appears his uncle would be shouldering, unless Mr. Stefan is providing it.

The Uncle and the funeral home are picking up the tabs. The funeral home also is not applying for state money to bury the indigent.

The city is on the hook for the police which they wouldn't need if the people in the city would stop making a nuisance there. If everyone would just go home and leave this guy alone then the city wouldn't need to have cops there 24 hours a day.

I'm not really worried about it, myself. The funeral home pays taxes to the city and that's what his tax dollars provide for. Also, he personally has not asked for police, they have come due to public safety. So I'm not really worried about him paying the police. It's not really his problem.

As long as people are peaceful, personally, I don't judge their actions nor their motives. This is a community that has been horribly damaged. I doubt if there are many locally that don't know someone who was there, or related to someone who was there, or have some tragic link to the Bombing. People react differently. I would not do that, but I can't fault the decisions of others.

I'm speaking as someone who was there, witnessed it, ran for my life, and now am dealing with it again. ;)

People aren't being peaceful, that's the problem. They're threatening to dig up the body if it's buried in the city. We have a loudmouth community organizer creating more of a circus by holding his own press conferences. So I can fault what the people protesting this are doing. They're turning a personal tragedy for many of us into a circus. They should all go home. Their protestations are doing nothing other than to keep this in the news.

If people are not peaceful, that is wrong and, I agree, that should not happen.

I'm voting for a galvanized garbage can and a C.O.D one-way ticket back to Nowherestan or whatever the trash heap he came from. He's probably a national hero there....let them take care of it.

That's correct. Here is a local source http://www.telegram.com/article/20130506/NEWS/305068782/1116

But again, this man pays his taxes to the city. We don't go and charge people more for city services just because they're using more services. That's not the way it works. If people would just go home there would be no need for the police to be out there, spending this much money.

I would have a lot more respect for the uncle and his "dilemma" if he had not been so insistent, initially, that Tsarnaev be buried in Cambridge. For me, if a relative had committed such a heinous act, I would be more concerned about the sensitivities of the victims, than the evil nephew's right to be buried in a town he hated. Why didn't he quietly take him to MD? I am having a hard time overcoming my impression that the entire family is much more concerned about their own misfortune, personally and as a family, than the innocent victims of this abhorrent, dead monster.

I missed the part where he wanted him buried in Cambridge, I just thought he wanted him buried somewhere. I do agree that anywhere close to the tragedy is too much to ask.

A lot of people pay taxes in the city and I bet they aren't thrilled with. Their ya dollars being used for this. Worcester could use that money for lots of other things.

Sounds like this is the latest:

http://bostonherald.com/news_opinio..._tamerlan_tsarnaev_s_mom_wants_body_buried_in

Quote in article: "Regardless of what he did, she’s still his mother. What are you going to say to her? What can you say?”

What do you say to the victim's of this man's bomb? The 8 yr old child had a mother too. The mother of the woman who died was on the news talking/weeping about her daughter the next day. You could tell she was heartbroken. The Chinese family who lost their daughter wasn't even from here.

ALL the surviving victims had mothers too!

This terrorist doesn't deserve to be buried on American soil. Soil and people he HATED. He wasn't even an American citizen. He has no American rights.

His body parts should be chopped up and sent home in individual pressure cookers.

What do I say to his MOM who also HATES the U.S? Who has no problem stealing from us and would USE our good will and money to get her son returned to her. How about she go to the very terrorist groups she aligns with to give her the money to get her son back? Where is their loyalty back to her?

I say: Sorry Mom, your son lost his right to be treated humanely when he treated our citizens inhumanely and without regard. We don't owe him any regard in return. :furious:

Cambridge officials said Sunday they would not allow the body to be buried in the city’s cemetery, despite Tsarnaev’s uncle’s statements that he believed the body should be buried there and that Tsarnaev’s “home country is Cambridge, Mass.”

His mother has an outstanding warrant for 1600 worth of shoplifting at a department store so if she comes here she will be arrested. No idea why his dad or wife are not taking care of it. I do think the body should go back to his country but I don't think the taxpayers should pay for it. I think that family has used enough resources already.

Last I heard his father was going to come here then took ill so can't travel. Mom will be arrested if she comes. Brother is in jail. UNclepis probably doing it out of some sense of family loyalty.

Probably the easiest thing to do is to cremate him and then ship him to his parents. I don't know if cremation is acceptable to Muslims though.

And this is an appropriate use of resources when all is said and done. Nobody should be complaining about this aspect of the ordeal. Sure there are better things to spend the money on, there always are, but in the end this is why we have police. They're doing their job. Just because the chief wants to make a stink over the cost, that's his problem. I can think of a few ways he could lower costs.....

But the people demonstrating SHOULD have more rights than the TERRORIST's family does to bury his sorry A**.

Then they shouldn't complain about the tax dollars spent to protect their rights.

I admire the funeral director for what he does. We live in a civilized society and act in a civilized way, even if others do not.

So, let's start acting like terrorist in some kind of Morale tit for tat?

I keep Dr Kings words in my head, "an eye for an eye simply leaves everyone blind". I never want my children see me with so much hate that I act like a terrorist.

No we do not"owe" him compassion but then again Good has enough forgiveness to not give me what I deserve.
The answer to inhumanity is not to act inhuman. The answer to hate is not more hate. Never works.

Just my choice.
