Bury him like the Newtown, Columbine, Oklahoma City murderers were all taken care of, quietly and anonymously.
I can't wrap my head around this at all:
the uncle crys outrage over his nephew's actions.
but yet, steps forward to give terrorist nephew a muslim burial. WHY?
I hope the burial refusals become so overwhelming, that terrorist bomber is burned and ashes put to trash.
Why would this be anyone elses problem is beyond comprehension.
The distraught mother of Boston Marathon bombing mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev wants his body sent home to Russia, the funeral director caring for the remains said today.
Zubeidat Tsarnaeva called Peter A. Stefan in tears yesterday afternoon, said Stefan, whose Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlor has been seeking a Massachusetts cemetery that will accept Tsarnaevs body since Friday.
The woman was in tears, Stefan said. She just said, It would be nice if you could get him home. Shed love to have him back there, obviously. Regardless of what he did, shes still his mother. What are you going to say to her? What can you say?
Stefan said the body has been cleansed per Muslim tradition by Tsarnaevs uncle, is wrapped in shrouds and is ready to be shipped or interred locally. No community has been willing to take it.
I have refrigeration. I can hold him for a long time, Stefan said. Itd be a great idea if we could send him to Russia, but I would have to have something from the State Department. This is a national security situation. We cant just send a body over like were dumping it.
Given the difficulty in finding a cemetery, Stefan said, Tsarnaevs uncle, Ruslan Tsarni, now just wants a burial. It doesnt even have to be a Muslim grave. Thats how far along we are.
<snip>
He said hell foot the bill himself to put Tsarnaevs body on a plane, if Secretary of State John F. Kerry can assure him it will be respectfully dealt with on the other end of the flight.
Ill pay for it myself. Its only a couple thousand dollars. My question is, is someone going to do something once I get him there? Not go back and forth and hold him there because hes a terrorist or whatever, Stefan said. That day, have a service, a burial and end it. This is becoming an international political football.
I have to say that I have a huge amount of respect for the funeral home director. From everything being reported about what he's done and said, he seems like a very decent and caring human being.

Is there not a prison cemetary somewhere that could handle this?
Surely, there are places others guilty of heinous crimes are buried discretely.
I also believe they are supposed to be buried within 48 after their death. So they've already broken one main burial rule of the religion, what's another? Light him up.
I'm also pretty sure the victims probably had some sort of religious belief that did not allow for them to be blown up. He wasn't very respectful of that. Put him in a pine box in a wooden canoe and point it towards Russia and give it a shove.
That's correct. Muslims do not cremate.
I think they should bury him at sea like they did with Bin Laden.
A close co-worker of mine is Muslin. He belongs to a sort of burying club in his mosque; everyone pays in and everyone gets buried in turn. Their burials are very, very green as well. (No caskets, not much in the way of headstones, no embalming etc.)
Since the brothers did belong to a mosque, I have to wonder if maybe the mosque now doesn't want to do the burying because they're scared of getting bombed or vandalized even facing worse outcomes, like long-standing community hatred of my mosque. If I were a member, I'd be very vocal in my opposition.
We seem to bounce from group to group that it's acceptable to hate, and right now its seems to that Muslims are that group, so if I belonged to the mosque, I'd be scared and I'd do just about anything to keep him from being associated with me and mine.
He wasn't a very good Muslim and did nothing more then tarnish their religion and religious views so IMOP he doesn't deserve the respect of being buried they way his faith calls for. He should be buried as a John Doe somewhere far away from Boston.

I would say the people protesting in front of his funeral home is harrassment. Thoough I guess it's their right to do that also.Yes, he's just trying to do what's decent. I hope he's not being harrassed over it.
Don't believe the City of Boston is currently on the hook for any costs, since his body was claimed. That appears to be the reason that Mom and Dad didn't get the "independent autopsy". They learned that they would have to pay for it.
But thecity of Wiporcester is. Police security details are costly.
