Now we are all the way in!!

Well, I guess we are about as official as one can get. We got our blue cards last week and I checked today and we are listed in the Orange County Comptrollers books as grantees.
We have made two reservations for our trips home, One this Nov. and next May and one stiil to schedule at the 11 month mark in Sept. of next year. I have gone to Ebay and purchased a shirt,hat and licience plates and pins. I guess all that now needs to be done is WAIT and WAIT and WAIT, the hardest part about becoming a owner. One item of note, on our new blue cards it has a area that states "members sence". Ours looks as if it has the original oweners date in it(06/92). Has anyone else noticed this???...smjj

Congratulations. You are correct that waiting is the hardest part (Thanks Tom Petty). Yes the Blue Card will have the date of the original owner's purchase. For some reason that's what they do.

Congrats! I guess we are in just about the same place DVC-wise. I just got my blue card also and have 2 trips scheduled and waiting for November for the 11 month window to make a ressie for next October. Isn't it GRAND being a member???

And yes I noticed the same thing on my card--it says "Member Since 4/99", which I too assumed was when the original owners bought in.
