November Trip

Hello all! I'm new here. Our family has been discussing a Disney vacation for November. Been there before in mid November, and it was nice and quiet. Anyway, I see there are excellent codes for late August to early October. ($139 a night for a Wilderness home compared to the usual $224) Does anyone know if these kind of great deals are usually available in November? We'd really like a home away from home, so if we can't get a good rate on a Dis Prop., we'll look into renting a house. Anyone done this before?

Unfortunately you won't know until they actually come out which might not be until August or later. There have been a lot of discounts available since Sep 11 to bring back WDW to levels before then, but you cannot predict what will be available this Nov based on last (when there were a lot because of 9/11). Historically there have been some in Nov but right now it is anyone's guess.

Barb - If you're open to it, you might want to check out the DVC trade/rent board. Last November, my bf and I stayed in a studio at OKW (larger than both Poly and Beach Club rooms I'd stayed in before) for $80/night on weekdays. It's a bit more complicated than a phone call to CRO, but totally worth it, IMHO.
