Okay, I just saw that they changed the Nov 17th Fantasmic to Nov 16th - what happens if you had a Fantasmic Package? Do they just switch you or does your reservation not switch over? I have the Sunday night Fantasmic, but am checking in case they make any other changes.

I saw this too. I'm not getting a F! package but I'm avoiding HS on any F! night. Now I either have to deal the with the crowds on Wed or move my schedule around.

Also for Oct/Nov/Dec ....this is the only date that was changed.

Do you think it's a typo???

I was also thinking of all those who bought the F! package and have their plans for that Thurs night.....what a mess.

Anyone have a F! package and received notification for this date??

Thanks!! :)

Out of curiosity, where are you seeing that? I looked on the disneyworld.com site but it does not reflect a change.

I have Nov 27th reserved and want to make sure it is still good.

Thanks!

Ooops...silly me. I clicked the date and it showed, but the November calendar says June when clicked. Weird.

I am confused also.... i had made my plans to miss it also..... It is on the WDW site, so gathering it was changed.

Touring Plans updated their calendar and states the F! will be on Wed at 6:30 pm. They changed the crowd calendar for 11/16 and 11/17 to reflect the change.

Also on the travel agents calendar. I'm hoping it's a mistake. As I said, it's the only week in 3 months that was "changed"

If anyone has any info, I would appreciate it!! :)

Thanks!!

I noticed that on 11/17 HS is closing at 7pm which to me would indicate that there is a special private event going on.

That is probably the reason they changed it.

ARGH

Now I either deal w/the crowds or changed 2 days around and 2 days of dining reservations.....don't want to do because I have some great ADR's.

So we decided to do HS anyway on 11/16 but leave earlier then planned and head to MK (that was planned for later in the day).

For those who have F! packages...have you been notified yet?

If HS closes at 7pm, will they turn on the lights on the 17th? That was our night we planned on seeing the osborne lights. We do like to be there at 6pm when they actually turn them on.

Have the dates for Osborne Lights been released yet? Last I heard was a rumor they may wait until after Thanksgiving.

I am in the same boat. I have ressies on 11/17 and I contacted Disney. I was told it has indeed moved but that they have blocked off all ressies on 11/16 until they can contact all those that has ressies on 11/17 to see if they want to change. So you will be contacted soon. I have not been contacted yet and they could not go ahead and change it for me. It took about an hour to figure all of this out. LOL

I also noticed this, as we are going that week and planned on doing fantasmic on that Thursday night. What is interesting, I had tried to call several times to book a Fantasmic dinner package and I was told it was not available that day and the agent told me to check back closer to the date. That is probably why she could not get it, they were in the process of changing the date. Now I hgave to change my whole itinerary, because other than going to fantasmic and dinner, I do not want to be in HS on a fantasmic night either.

I was trying to book another reservation by calling when I found out about this change on F!

I had booked the F! dinner package on that Thursday the 17th 180 days out.

They did not make an effort to call me or anything. This was in July.

I only found out because the CM said they noticed I had a F! dinner booked for a non-fantasmic night, to which I replied... WHAT!?!?:scared1:

He cancelled my ressie and did not offer to rebook.

I called later the next day and managed to score another F! package for that Wednesday, November 16th.

I am not entirely sure if they ever planned on calling me, but it is a good thing I found out when I did- or they would have been booked up... or worse, I would have arrived on that Thursday, November 17 expecting to see F!

I am shocked! You would think they would tell people. I'm just glad I found out here :thumbsup2
