NOVEMBER Exercise Challenge---MOVE IT!! Don't get Stuffed like a Turkey!!

OMG!!! I can't believe how behind I am!!! My DD had her wisdom teeth out on Monday & hasn't done too well. That, coupled with the election, DS19s job search, cold weather & no heat has put me WAY BEHIND in everything!

Wow, Julie, sounds like you've got your hands full lately! And no heat! :scared1: Hope your DD is better after having those wisdom teeth out. Thanks so much for taking on running this challenge once again!


So, that said, here I am 8 days into the month and I am finally showing up to sign up and post my total so far.


My goal will be 1600 min again this monmth. I know I have been way over goal the past 2 months, but I will be spending a week out of this month helping a friend through gastric bypass surgery so I know I will not have the time to devote to exercise the past 2 months so I'm sticking to the same goal I have been setting for a while.


So far I am at 450/1600 min for November. :cheer2:
 
I hope your DD is feeling better - it sounds as if you've had a very full week or so.

well....i had a slow week this week. I have been laid up with a bad ear infection, so have not been able to workout as I usually do throughout the week. (I normally go swimming...) But, on a positive note I did have to go out yesterday and run some errands, and instead of using an ECV cart at Target, I used my own legs!! It feels good that I can do that better now. I have had trouble walking but I went and did all my errands! :)

So my minutes this week are 100! I am still trying to get to 1000, and think I can still do it! :cheer2: Total for November: 200/1000

11/8- 40 min (morning) brisk walk
11/9- 60 min (afternoon) brisk walk
11/10 95- (morning) 15 min lifting weights & 20 min on treadmill
(mid-morning) 25 min walk with student @ school
(late afternoon) 35 min brisk walk

Update time again & then hopefully will get to my WISH Journal today....ugh!!!!

DD had her 1 wk follow up yesterday & despite lots of left lower jaw pain & what she claims is a HUGE, GAPING HOLE, he says she is healing fine.

We finally have heat! For the first time in a week I made it to walk the Husky pup this morning....35 out when I left & only 40 now, but I was HOT with the sun....Gotta love the altitude. Had to hurry home as I'm awaiting a 'sign for' package UPS....we bought a video camera & docking station last Nov, never pulled the docking station out til July & it was defective, so , had to pay the labor to have it fixed....grrrr!!!
