November crowds

Hi, I would like to get an idea of what to expect this November with regards to wait times for SB and FP lines of any of the rides. What was your experience? would you say it was more busy than other visits around this time of year?

We plan on following the most recommended parks when possible, do RD most days and FP in the early afternoons. We have visited twice before in November, and have never found it to be what i would consider busy, 30 min was the longest wait, but this was back in 2007 (Nov) 2009 (Nov) and 2011 (May).

I keep reading how everything has changed and lots of planing is needed etc, have things got that much busier ? We will be there from Nov 3rd-20th, we have already changed our dates once to avoid Thanksgiving, have we made the right choice? should we be preparing ourselves for longer wait lines with or without FP

We had a great trip the week of Veterans Day. Never had to wait more than 5 min. In fp line even when they looked long. SB lines were about 15-30 minutes except for the huge attractions. Avoid MK on Veterans Day itself.

If 2011 was your last visit, then, yes, it will be much more crowded than the last time you visited.

November was hit or miss as far as crowds. FP lines will be short, they typically move quickly. Standby will be 15-80 min--depending on the popularity of the ride.

We went veterans week Nov 2010 and again this year.. This year was way more crowded but it was still manageable (both years had free dining).. We went to epcot on veterans day but it was quiet except TT and Soarn..Keep in mind they have the Christmas Parties on certain nights and MK will close early..unless you buy the ticket to attend..

We were there this past November - 7 to 15th.

FP+ lines were 5 minutes except for Everest (15 min) but it had just re-opened after being closed for an hour.

SB varied from walk on to 120 minutes for Mine Train. Most were 15-30 in the afternoons but empty at rope drop. We managed to ride Mine TRain as walk on, then Tea cups & Barnstormer without any wait at all at rope drop.

The only day I felt it was really busy was the Friday (Christmas Party day at MK) It was NOT the recommended park that day and I can see why. Much busier than when we went to MK on Wednesday.

I agree with the PP. I went this past November 20 -26 and the crowds were moderate during the first few days but built steadily as we got closer to Thanksgiving. SDMT had SB waits up to 180 min as well as TSMM. The weather during my stay was also crazy, alternating between torrential rainstorms, hat scarf and gove weather to the mid 90s! We still had a great time, but booked our FP+ at the 60 day mark to ensure we could get the rides we wanted.
