We're flying in the day before and staying at BCVs. Hopefully we will be awake enough with the time difference to enjoy a couple of hours of the F&W festival before we fall asleep.![]()

1DisneyQueen Are you guys wearing the Hawaiian shirts to the Vow renewal? If you need a good and inexpensive link to order one let me know. We ordered Steve's and it is very nice and it came from Hawaii.[QUOTE said:We have not gotten shirts yet. Can't seem to find the time to sit Mark down to find a shirt. He will probably wear a white shirt instead.
........ you will be joining a few of us on the Butterfly excursion. We do St Thomas on our own and go to Megans Bay. It is wondeful there. You can hire the taxi as soon as you get off the ship.I didn't know there was a change in plans. I thought we were exploring the island by Taxi on both days. Crap now I need to look at making plans to do stuff. I guess we may just explore on our own then.
Chrissy I just signed up for the Butterfly excursion yesterday. Cost is $34.00 per person. It should be fun and interesting. So you may have time. I may just follow your AD and Mom on St Thomas. They all seem to have a great time.
OHHH VA GIRL thanks for the heads up. I just booked with Radisson and got the cruise parking room. It saved me about $30 form the country inn. Thanks!! where in VA are you from? We lived in Burke for 5 years (NOVA) and loved it. I bet it is beautiful there now!!So, how is everyone? I've been reading the posts but haven't posted in a long time.![]()

Well, it sounds like everyone is getting excited.. just like us. I think moving the meet to Saturday at around 3pm is a great idea. It gives everyone a chance to meet right away and gives our children a chance to meet some other children their age before they even go to the clubs. I know on our last cruise we meet on Deck 3 in the Promenade Lounge and it was great because we were the only ones in there.
I finally booked my hotel for the night before the cruise at the Radisson at the Port. I had been putting it off for a couple of months because the Radisson hadn't been available every time I looked (and looked... and looked
). I just couldn't decide on another hotel because we have always stayed there and then this weekend I decided I had to book something. Well all of a sudden the Radisson was available again.
So that is taken care of and they could even get us on the 10am shuttle. Anyone else staying here the night before? We probably won't get in until late because we are driving from Virginia
and won't be leaving until around 10:30am or so that morning. DD8 and DS6 have school that day but it is a half day so I'm just going to get them an hour early so they don't miss another day of school. I already feel guilty about taking them out for 5 days the next week.
Now, I need to get everything ready for packing and I need to buy a few last minute items.
Well HI![]()
to everyone and I can't wait to meet everybody.

You are so welcome. I live in Fredericksburg now but have previously lived in Arlington, Falls Church and Sterling. I do love it here but would like to live where it is warm all year round. The leaves are just starting to change now so it will be a few weeks until peak. Where do you live now? Are you going to make it to the meet on Saturday? I have a DD8 and I see that you do too... and about half the other people on this thread it seems. My DS6 seems to be in the minority as far as playmates on the cruise goes but I'm sure he'll be fine.
Talk with you soon.

YES! I will be at the meet. There is another little girl-8 yrs old- Morgan4's little girl-that is also staying at the radisson. It would be great to meet up the night before if we all get there early enough. I signed up for the 10:00 shuttle also.
It will take us about 8 hrs to get there-w/o traffic. How about you? i remember doing the trip and it took me about 16 hrs to our house in the panhandle. I did have my two older kids to help drive so it wasn't all me.
Looking forward to meeting you and everyone. Should be a blast!
yeah!!!!!What a small world. My son and his wife lived in Fredericksburg. They have moved back to the beach. He was commuting everyday to Arlington for work. Now he can ride his bike if he wants.
I have two granddaughters that are coming and they are 8, oops one turns 9 this Friday. Sounds like this cruise will have a good number of 8 year olds.![]()
Cheeringmom, great news about the move and confirmed shuttle time. We will definately see you in the terminal.
How do you do the multiple quotes in your post. I though that I was doing that, but oviously I wasn't and now I can't remember who all I was replying too!![]()
QUOTE]
Do you see the "+ symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the post you want to quote? Click that and every other post you want to quote. After you have selected all then click "quote" and type away. I hope that helps and it is clearer than mud
Thank you so much, I think that I did it right!!!! I understood your "mud" just fine.![]()
What we have done in the past is just list (by DIS name) thoses signed up for the FE, or event. It also lets folks personalize their gifts. To answer your question, No I do not think folks would mind if you listed their names. So they can verify they are on your list or if they have changed their mind and forgot to tell you they will see that as well. Some folks do not want their cabin# posted for non participants. I can understand that, you do not want folks stalking you and trying to get your Mickey Bars.I mean most folks cannot read the name on your door magnet
![]()
Anyway, I do try to respect people decsions and not publicaly give out cabin#.
Thanks for the response, I will post the list tonight. No stealing my Mickey Bars!!! You will have a fight on your hands!!![]()
We booked our cruise two weeks ago so we are officially going. Being Florida residents it makes it easier to go at the last minute. I work in a law firm and our trial schedule is crazy and don't know when you can go until them. Makes it great to have Florida Resident specials.
I have read through the posts and it appears everyone is ready for fun and relaxation. It will just be me and my roommate, two adults, no children. This is our third Disney cruise by first 7 day cruise on Disney. We did a Carnival 7 day in May from Tampa and actually had a good time.
We have booked to go to the Butterfly Farm with DCL on St. Marten but not sure of what to do in St. Thomas yet.
Not sure about Fish Extenders, can someone tell me if it is too late or what is the last date to decide. If it is too late, next time is fine.
Look forward to meeting some wonderful people on this cruise.
I believe it is Morgan4 is from Ohio, where? I was born in Massillon and all of my uncles and cousins still live in that area.
If you have questions about Orlando, let me know. We live here full time. LOL
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
It is not too late if you want to join in with the FE gift exchange. Just PM me with your room # and your first names. If not, that is fine too. Welcome,![]()
We lived in North Canton for 6 yrs and then moved to beautiful Dover. We have friends in Massillon.
Hi all, just checking in on the thread. I am in the middle of a project and have been working 80 hour weeks for the last three weeks, hopefully only one more crazy week to go. After that I need to move in to cruise prep mode!
See you in 5 weeks.
Rick
Hi Rick, WOW you need a vacation!!! I know of this great little ship that has a little rodent problem, but we will have lots of fun. Want to go with us?? We leave in 4 WEEKS!!!!!
I do not have the ability to PM it seems so I was wondering if someone could help me get added to the list of those wishing to participate. I am working on making a fish extender and would like to have our cabin added to the list.
Our cabin number is 6576. There are 2 adults (DH and myself) and one DD17.
And do you tell us when we deliver our surprises to everyone? I am new to all this but it sounded so fun I couldn't pass it up. Do we go over all this at the meet? And can anyone tell me when the meet is? Thanks for everyone's help. I am so glad I found the Dis boards and our cruise meets.
Hi all
We will be joining you on this cruise![]()
There will be me Samantha (Sam) and my DH Colin. We love DCL and this will be our 4th time on the Magic.
Beginning to get really excited about the cruise and suddenly realised I hadn't stopped by to say hello and meet you all.
We will be travelling from the UK and staying at BCVs after the cruise.

yeah!!!!!
I am a bit confused on the times for the Muster Drill and Sailaway. Isn't the Muster at 3 or 3:30 and then sailaway at 4?
I'm all for changing the day and time for th DVC meeting. Past cruisers, when did you have your meet?
Muster at 4, sailaway at 5.
are you an FSU or Clemson fan?Mozart We are football fans as well and will be visiting Diversions on Saturday to watch the FSU Seminoles vs. Clemson game. It should be a good one.
Looking forward to meeting you all.
DeAnna
Ok, then 3 pm would work. I nominate promonade at 3, would anyone like to second the motion?![]()
