I'd love to do that, but I want to get a hotel by The Space Center so we can *hopefully* watch the shuttle launch that night. So far, it's scheduled to take off after 11pm. I think it would be much easier to watch it from an ocean front room. Less chaos for the kiddos.

Waving right back at you Old School Pooh Fan!! Are you guys flying out of LAX or SNA? We'll be using our frequent flyer miles, I think its too early to book our flights, there's no available flight coming back home on the 15th yet.
We would love to see the launch also but i am already pulling out my son from school for 5 days. Oh, just fyi, I bought my DS(8) a matching suit/pant (for formal night) at Target for only $30 ( it was on clearance rack) I know you have 2 boys, you might want to check it out.

MOZART: I have read some of TRs, I'm a stay-at-home-mom, i spend a lot of time at disboards and sometimes i forget that i have household chores to do!!!!LOL ! I'll try to find that may repo thread.

We're most likely leaving out of LAX because most flights cost 100.00 more to leave out of John Wayne. Haven't booked any flights yet because all the return ones are either at 7am or 9pm. Neither are good options in my opinion.

Check your son's school schedule. Mine are off for 2 days (on the 10th and 11th) for Veteran's Day. That's cutting out of the missed days, so we figured we'd leave a day earlier and catch the launch. I heard they won't be launching after 2010, so I REALLY want to try and see it in person again.

Speaking of household chores, I need to get my kids some lunch. It's amazing how much time passes here reading all the information!

Just out of curiousity, what launch is everyone talking about? When I look at NASA's launch schedule, they don't have anything between Oct 28th and Dec 1st scheduled right now.

GoofyFD- Hmm. Now you have me thinking. My dh recognized Ben's voice right away when he was talking with Sayid. I was also thinking that Michael might be in the coffin. My DH thought Ben or Locke. I guess it depends who the last 2 are of the Oceanic 6.

The latest info I can find shows the shuttle launch moved to 12/04/08.

When launches are originally scheduled, it is set as "no sooner than..." the actual date could change. We will have to keep an eye on the schedule for changes.

I really wanted to see a shuttle launch with the kids. I guess it's a good thing I had not yet booked/paid for the extra day at the raddison. I guess that is another $100 I get to spend on the cruise. Though the extra day resting poolside at the hotel "preparing for the cruise" might have been nice!

DH told me that we probably will still go on the 6th even though there isn't a launch because our flight is a 5 hour one and then we lose 3 hours in the process. So, we'll be rollin' in at nighttime. On the 7th, we'd still like to go the Space Center, so it won't be a wasted day-sooner flight. Still have to book a flight though....

Now, see...the neighborhood it was in was an african-american neighborhood, with an african-american attendant, which would make sense on why it would be Walt or Michael. However, what makes me wonder is because when Jack asked Kate if she was going to go to the funeral, she got a little peeved and asked "WHY?!?!" Maybe Michael did something to tick her off?? We'll have to see....

Forgive me everyone. My husband has been gone on his own personal vacation (lucky guy) so I've been on here alot. I think I just made my first two door signs and I want to try to load it up here. Let's see how this goes. I just got Photoshop, and I have NO idea how to use it, so I've been tinkering.

You are obviously smarter than I when it comes to phot shop. I became so frustraed with al the different layers that I just use powerpoint now.

Old School Pooh Fan- I really like the signs. I haven't even attempted them yet. I'm a bit computer illiterate. If you can't tell yet I don't know how to quote someone and I'm sure it's pretty easy. You probably click on quote then highlight. Am I close? The reason I think Michael is because Walt showed up to Locke. The writers probably think most people have forgotten about him. Kate could be peeved at him because he chose to take Walt and leave the island without helping them when Ben just captured them. In their mind he didn't send help back either. Just a thought.

I read those threads. Wow- The first person had my head spinning. I was reading some of it out loud to my dh and he kept asking me questions. I had to keep saying "I don't know, I didn't write this"

I gotta tell ya, the layers are FRUSTRATING ME!! I bet if I knew how to work them, I'd get FAR more done. As it is, I can't even tinker with the one's I already made. And I don't even know how big they'll print out. So, artwork is half the battle at this point.
About Lost, you must have read the "Time Loop Theory". Mine was spinning too. There was a separate question and answer page for those unanswered questions. But there will always be more. I guess he updates it and tweaks it after every show.

For quoting, highlight what you want quoted from someone's post. Then click the "Quick Reply" bubble.
In the message box is a little bubble on the far right. Click on that and paste what you copied in between the 2 "quotes" marks. Sounds complicated, but it's easy. What's easier is if you just click the quote bubble on a message. Then you get the whole thing.

Good job! very nice. My hubby is willing to do it for me or i can have my 14 y/o niece to help me she's really good with photoshop.

I went looking at two Targets today and saw a jacket for my 6 year old and pants for my 8 year old. Each were about 4.50. Great deal! The jacket is a little big, but he can grow into it and we can tailor the rest, and I need to wait for my 8 year old to get home so he can try on the pants. I'm hoping for the same result. Thanks for the tip!
