We have early dining. We have tried the late, but it does not work well for us. I used to blame it on DH, but after the "sisters" cruise it was clear to me that I too prefer early dining.

I would like to stay near the port and maybe see NASA, but we always manage to travel in a group and the logistics of getting from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the port has proven on mor ethan one trip to be stressful. It is just not a good way to start off a trip when you want to throw your DH off the dock becasue he left his patience at the airport.

It has become a matter of course now to stay at the Hyatt and rent a car and drive to downtown disney for a quick Disney fix. I was considering forgoing that this trip, but it will certainly depend on the majority.

Stitch if you and your mom are still looking for table mates, you are welcome to join our group. I am sure Wendyjersey will not care.


Well I am spending more time here and I have a cruise that leaves earlier that I need to focus on.

Hello! To all who stayed at Hyatt before, I want to know if you will use DCL transfers, do you take your luggages with you in the bus or is there a luggage check in desk at MCO for DCL? We're still deciding on where to stay the night before the cruise....leaning more towards the most convenient way and cheaper at the same time.

The Hyatt does it right. They send the bell hop to come and get your luggage from your room and they transport it to the port. You do not see it again until they deliver it to your cabin.

I do not know the first time of the shuttle. I thought it was 10 am, but I am not at all certain.

I feel like I already know everyone since my DH (Gecko1) made me start at the beginning and read everyone's posts. I'm so excited about our upcoming cruise. Can you tell how excited I am? This is our first cruise EVER and from what I hear, we made the right decision for our first. I can't believe I'm actually a virgin again .

Morgan4: Seems like we may run into each other, hopefully, since we're staying at the same hotel prior, on the same meal rotation, and doing the same excursion on St. Maartin.

Welcome Lilo-Relocated. Well better you get caught up now with the readings then when we are on page 60 or so. The best thing is to read a couple of times a week so the pages don't get ahead of you especially towards the end when everyone is so excited.

I'm with you FantasticFour, but not the martinis. Did that with faireygodmother and we were not impressed with the drink in any shape or form.The only thing I like close to that is a Manhatten.

How many of you are planning to stay at the airport Hyatt before the cruise?

How many are taking the Disny transportation?

I'm taking whatever transportation my OCOPD says is the best way.

We will stay at the Hyatt before the cruise. My next reservations that I will be making. We can according to the DCL rep make plans for Disney transport whenever we decide we want to, but I think we'll be going with our faireygodmother as she is great fun.
We will book whatever I can find within reason. Normally we have taken American or USAir and never had a problem. But now I've done it and cursed my trip.

I hope all are doing well. The whole family is home today due to the ice storm that froze us in, here in southwest Indiana. The kids are loving it! They are outside sliding around our frozen yard. I hope I will be able to make it to work tomorrow. It's eating away my vacation time, and I have one coming up next month.



Both my kids have the Nintendo DS...Great for long trips. They both like Pokemon, Mario GoKart, and others. We are staying a cat4 on deck 8. It sounds like we have a great group of people traveling with us.

I am hesitant to PM because I don't want to intrude. I just really hope all is well.

Hi Everyone! I want to first say "thank you" for keeping us in your thoughts and for all the . I could feel it even those I was not on the boards for awhile! DH is doing much better. He got a good report from his doctor---wants to do a CTscan every six months and just watch and he feels everything will be okay! That works for us!

It is so nice to see so many new people and so many first time Disney Cruisers. You are in for a real treat. We just would not try any other cruise line because we are afraid we would be disappointed!

After a very snowy week, this cruise is looking better and better!

I can't wait to meet everyone.

I won't stay away now!

Is anyone staying at the Beach Club before the cruise? We are coming in November 4. Our dd and her dh will come November 5. Everyone is very excited about the cruise! They will be celebrating their anniversary.

Appreciate you reading the TR. Joel's was fun to be a part of, in a way. Although, I think I had him pretty paranoid at one point. There are some pretty talented writers over there. Zweihund's "Geeks" reports are always interesting. She's an excellent writer. I keep an eye out and read the ones that look really interesting. One girl going on the Panama Canal repo in May has a really good one going right now.

If you never have read any of the TR's, you should check them out. Good way to while you're counting down the days.

I am forgetting everyone's names that wrote in, but I wanted to address different items.
Let's see how good my memory is:
So far, I haven't booked a flight or hotel. I know..BAD. But I have been working on it. We're still slated to fly in the night of the 6th *hopefully* stay somewhere near where we can see the shuttle launch. I know that we might not see it due to frequent reschedules, so no matter. We're planning on visiting the Kennedy Space Center on the 7th anyway. So, I'm gonna need a hotel for 2 nights. Is there a Hyatt down by the Center GoofyFD? We're most likely renting a car that we can drop off at the port on cruise day and taking a Disney transfer back to the airport. (Goofy, your DW montioned that we shop for your beverages instead of you shipping them. Let me know.)

Some wonderful poster here enlightened me to the last NASCAR race of the year that day and I would feel HORRIBLE if my husband didn't have the opportunity to go. So, back to the drawing board on figuring out how to add that in. Thank goodness I didn't book flights yet huh?

I completely forgot about formal wear for me! The last cruise was around Christmas, so I had this great green dress for it. Can't use it now! What to do, what to do? Thank goodness prom season is coming soon. But I got two dress shirts for my little guys, and hubby has a really nice tux that he got for our honeymoon (hello? 11 years ago?!!) that still fits great and looks wonderful on him. Grrr.... They always clean up so nice.
Yikes! I have SO much more to do!!! Gotta get going on it.

Mimi's girl, I think the person in the coffin was Locke. That's why no one was there. He had no family or friends. And that's why Kate was so appalled that Jack wanted to go. Locke separated from him and caused a mutiny so to speak.

I think Sayid is in the coffin!!! No you say.... Crazy..... Well think about this theory..... If what we saw last time is true Sayid is now working for Ben. What if this whole time Syaid was working with Ben FROM THE BEGINNING? We saw he works for him off the island now. What if Ben "recruited" him before the plane crash? This is why he is acting so stranger about Naomi death. Remember he kept looking at her and wanted to take her off the island. He looked at her bracelet for a time. Also the woman in the last episode had the same bracelet on. Did Sayid give that to her? Just think about it for a few minutes go all the way back to day one all ready thinking Sayid is working for him.
