Happy Friday Everyone!

Just over 5 weeks and we'll be on the MAGIC!

I guess I'd better get busy on my FE gifts.

Happy friday everyone,

Shauna the check is in the mail:goodvibes

Everyone sounds like they are busy this weekend. I hope to almost finish my FE gifts this weekend. Hopefully by the end of the week I will be done with them. Then to work on door signs.:cool1:

It's cold and rainy today. WE are going to be in the 30's for lows for a few days and stormy. Now I wish I had got my boots already, I could sure use them this week.

Today I have to call a repair man because our door latch unit is broken. It wouldnt open up and i was stuck inside and Greg outside last night. We finally got it open but it was by smashing it open. Then if we closed it we could be locked in again. So at 10 p.m. in the cold Greg was working on fixing it so it wouldnt lock us in but would stay closed for the night. I held the flashlight.

These things never seem to happen early and in the daylight. :lmao:
In order to keep it from locking us in and stay closed he had to break it even more .
So today I have to call a repairman to put in a new unit. I am sure it wont be cheap.
Always something fun happening lately around here:lmao:

T.G.I.F Everyone:cool1:

Everyone seems very busy here with school, work, weddings & sports. Im working 2 jobs today but off for rest of weekend. My daughter cashed in all her coins in this week and now taking her to Disney Store to get Disney Gift Card for her spending money on the cruise. Fe Gifts and Magnets are on the list too. Placed final orders for some Disney Attire and want to start to pack this weekend. Since I have friends visiting here next week, I won't get anything done next weekend.:cheer2:

Hope everyone has a great fun filled weekend!!!! Go Patriots!!!!!

Bronners is like my Mecca. Someday I will get there. I love Christmas decorations:santa:

I'll be back this evening to see who's been around today.
My door lock is still broken. Part wont be in until Monday or Tuesday. Glad i have 2 large watch dogs for night time since I cant lock it.:rolleyes1

That's NOT good, Kathy! :scared1: Is Greg able to stay home with you this weekend?

No he is gone to work on the remodel of the mobile home. But i have 2 camp hosts near by and a good neighbor next to me. 2 great watch dogs and lots of lights outside so I'm not worried.
I can slide the dead bolt if I want but then will probably have to use the screw drivers to take it apart to open it up again. I would rather just leave it unlocked in case of fire and a fast exit. I dont want to have to stop and dismantle it in an emergency.
I will be in it all weekend. Not going anywhere.

Time to do the breakfast dishes I think. I keep putting them off but they dont seem to be doing themselves so I best get busy.

Kathy

Just take care of yourself, hear?

I guess it's not surprising it's quiet - - what with Traci getting married tomorrow, and Gayle's son getting married tomorrow.

Well, let me tell you about my successful "hunting and foraging", lol. I went "goodwilling" because I refuse to pay store prices for clothes that I'll shrink out of before next summer. Between yesterday and today, I bought 2 pairs of trousers, 4 pair of shorts (3 new with tags), a cute 'beachy' shirt, and enough books to hold both Bruce and I for weeks for a total including tax of $60.

Have a good n ight all. Be Safe.

Linda thats some good buys you got there.
My grandaughter always goes to thrift stores. She gets her school clothes allowance so she can decide if she wants just a couple of name brand items or a ton of clothes from the thrift stores.:thumbsup2 My DD and her DD always shop there and their stuff looks just like brand new. When my kids were young and always out growing clothes so fast I shopped there all the time too.

I love looking for good bargains.

We have a senior club here tonight. So far 8 RV's have pulled in. They are having a big potluck in the club house and it smells soooo good!! My dogs keep sniffing the air, they can smell the food.

I think its just the 2 of us this weekend to keep us off page 2:confused3

Kathy

At this time in 5 weeks we'll be in the terminal waiting to board the Magic!
:yay::yay::yay:

I've got a lot to do this weekend, but hopefully will have time for my FE gifts.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Everybody's ok, here. Glad to see you, Shauna!

Are you going to the party for the seniors, Kathy? Or I guess you're not old enough are you. too bad!

I'm rolling my coins this morning. Tried on all my clothes again, put the ones that were really too baggy in the box for charity, and replaced them with the new ones from the thrift store. That was really so much fun, I wish I could do it again today, but I reall don't need any more.

Making page kits to go to a crop next Saturday. That will be my lost weekend. We're getting together with family for Thanksgiving, though, so I want to get as many pages from that line done as possible before we go.

Roast Pork for dinner. It's dreary and chilly here today, so I thought a nice fall meal would taste good.

Happy Day, all!

Happy saturday everyone:goodvibes

Linda that would depend. Some places say 55 and older are seniors others say 62 or 65. If its 55 and older, well I hate to admit it but Yes I could come:rolleyes1

Cold and foggy this morning and the pups got me up early for their bathroom break this mornign so I have actually got a lot done before 8 a.m. today.
I even worked on my FE gifts.

Traci I received the FE list just fine and will happily send it out and revise it if needed when the time comes.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

i hope her wedding goes great. With such short notice it is hard to just throw a wedding together.

Since I am home this weekend I will check in a few times during the day to see who has been around.

Have a great saturday everyone,

Kathy

Good Morning All:

Its been pouring rain since early this morning. So of course its wet and cold and I wanted to get everything on my list done today but no ambition with dreary weather. Been waiting to go to mall with daughter but she's with her dad having too much fun so its off to clean the house for me.

Congrats to Traci & Tim.

Hi Krista,

I am the same way when its dreary outside I just loose what little ambition I have. I am surprized the sun has come out nicely today. It was suppose to be rainy all day today. I dont know what happened but no complaints about them missing the forecast. Although its chilly it is still pretty, and sunny.:goodvibes

Pretty quiet today on this thread. People are off having fun.:thumbsup2

Kathy

No, I'm here, Kathy. It was pretty dreary here too, until it was too late in the day to do anything. THe sun finally came out when it was about time for it to go down.

I worked on my clothes -putting the baggy ones in a box to get rid of, and replacing them with the smaller ones. I worked on some scrapbook pages - assembling kits for the crop next week. Made a nice little roast pork for dinner. Now, we've eaten, and i'm photoshoping some photos I need for my kits.

See you later.

Just do what we do and put up 2 trees.

I have thought about doing just that. I thought about doing one all Disney and the other our traditional tree.

I just never seemed to get around to it.

I know a couple families who have a tree in the living room, family room, dining room, the den .Each s themed differently.

Kathy

Hey all -

Linda, that's AWESOME about your weight loss! Congrats!:thumbsup2

Kathy, hope your lock situation works out okay!

Not that any of you wants to hear this, but the FL weather has been gorgeous! Cooling down just a tad - high 80s daytime.

We spent a little time at Downtown Disney today. We have a dear friend from Boston visiting with us and she wanted to do a little shopping for her grandkids, in preparation for their big Disney vacation in May. We ate at the T-Rex restaurant. Very cute, but a bit noisy!! Food was pretty good, too.

Off for a day trip to St. Augustine tomorrow to play tourists - trolley tour, etc.

5 weeks from today I'll be checking my watch and remembering that I've got to pick the kids up from the Oceaneer's Club in 25 minutes! One more round please, bartender!!!! LOL!

'Night all!

Kathy... that's not good about the door. Glad your dogs are good watchdogs! Hopefully you can get it fixed early next week and really relax.

Hope both weddings today went off beautifully, Gail and Traci!!!

Linda- so jealous that you can pack up your bigger clothes to give away! WAY TO GO!! That's awesome.

We had a hectic day- soccer in the am, wedding, then a friend's son's birthday party. With an "afterparty" at their house for us grownups! :thumbsup2But ugh- got a text while at the wedding, from a friend asking us if we were okay because of the fire. What fire? :confused3Yep- October is officially Fire Season here, and yes indeedy there is a fire not far from the house. Driving home tonight I could see that it is a few miles west of my parents' house (could see it from the freeway) and that the road to their house is blockaded. It's also spread northward so I can see it from my house too, it's about 3 miles or so. It's NOT windy though so that is good news. :wizard: I sure will feel better in the morning if I can't see it or smell it. We've lived through that before and it always makes me a bit nervous. My biggest fear, traveling in November, is that we could get a late fire and be away when it happens.

The weather seems to be cooperating though, it's cool and cloudy tonight. How 'bout some rain to go with that? We won't usually expect any rain till December though. But sometimes we get lucky!
