November 7, 2009 ~~~~ AHOY ST.CROIX ~~~~

The wristbands are ordered! The website told me I should get them by the 21st of October, but if they are like they were last year I'll get them early. Either way, I'll do a quick turnaround and send them out (most likely) the day after I get them. That way you'll get them before you leave for pre-cruise stays.

I've sent everyone a pm with the payment info (sokay168 I sent you an email). If you didn't get it, let me know. The wristbands worked out to be $2.50 or less (including wristbands, sales tax, envelopes, and postage). The more you ordered, the cheaper per band (since I can send them all in 1 envelope and shipping didn't go up much for a few extra bands. I thought the price was pretty good since we ordered more than 50.

I did order a few extra in case we have latecomers or in case someone needs a different size.

Have a good night all.

Linda Thank you for explaining how you are going to do the scrap page, I think I got it figured out.
Shauna, thank you for getting the wristbands ordered. I got the pm and replied.
It is really cold here too. I was really looking forward to some nice fall weather. But it kinda looks like we are going to go straight into winter.:sad2:
Gail, enjoy the wedding, sounds like you have it all under control. Try not to stress and just enjoy.
I am trying to get the last of my FE gifts finished up and then a couple of t-shirts before we leave. Wish me luck. Things just seem to be getting in the way. Had to take my car in tonight and leave it, so that they can put new brakes on it. I will be calling Chrysler tomorrow. The car has less than 20.000 miles on it and it needs new brakes?? What's up with that? And of course that isn't covered under the "bumper to bumper" warranty. What, the brakes aren't somewhere between the bumpers? If not. where are they? Can you tell I am not a happy camper about this? $200.00 to get them fixed. Yikes!! Oh well, we shall see what Chrysler has to say tomorrow. Anyway, better get going. I have to leave for work extra early tomorrow, since I had to bum a ride.
Nite all.

We have had a couple Chryslers - we go through brakes like water - First they tried to tell me it was because they rusted, since I wasn't using them enough. So I changed my driving habits but I still needed another set. I think part of the issue is - they don't use asbestos to make brakes any more, so they just fail sooner. Be glad it wasn't the air conditioner. THAT set me back over $1000!

Hey Dis family,

We are yet again going thru some things in our house. Tim is ill and will require surgery this next week. I am sending the FE list to Kathy as she has so graciously offered to help out with the List. So if anyone needs anything re the FE please contact Kathy.

I will be around but not as much as usual. We need to get Tim up and running and still make it for the cruise.

By the way we are getting Married Saturday!:bride: Wish us luck!

Best Wishes Traci and have a wonderful wedding.
Tell Tim we are sending him Pixie dust for him to get well soon.

I iwll take good care of the FE list and Thankyou for doing all of it for us. My job is easy with it.

Kathy

It's cold here again today. Woke up and it was 64 in the house, time to turn on the heat. It's supposed to make it into the 50s today, so that is better than yesterday. I want some Caribbean sun!

Good luck with the wedding Traci--how exciting! Hope things go well for everyone!

Now that it is October, we can say we are cruising NEXT MONTH!

Hello everyone. It is good to be able to have time to be back after 4 days. Since Monday I have had 4 exams, two presentations, two team meetings, a career fair, an internship interview and 3 improv rehearsals. Boy am I glad it is almost the weekend. Also since its October I am excited that WE ARE GOING CRUISING NEXT MONTH. As everyone above has said we had some cool weather come into north Florida, but its really beautiful out. Sunny and low 70's. Very nice. Hope everyone has a great day. Not too much longer.

HOLY CHRISTMAS! TRACI! You sure know how to drop a few conversations stoppers in a single post! My fingers are crossed that Tim's surgery goes VERY well and he is up and about WELL in advance of the cruise.

And congratulations on your marraige! Not a lot of time to plan OR have wedding nerves!

(Anything I was planning to say has totally gone out of my head at Traci's announcement) Kathy - thanks for picking up that FE thing - let me know if I can help you in any way.

Linda Babe... you make me laugh. Tim is holding up well and said thanks for that pixie dust as he will need it. I am excited about getting married. We got a wedding coordinator to help us and things are going well. I will post pics when i get them. Wish us luck and be thinking of us. You guys have been great and it helps to have you guys to talk to.

Traci and Tim - I will never forget you two as you will share Ben and Kristie's wedding anniversary. How cool is that - well, maybe not so much so for you two.... Anyways, congratulations and enjoy your lives together.

And loads of pixie dust to Tim for the surgery - hope all goes well and he is up and around quickly.

Well, frost here this morning, hard. It was 26 when I left for the office this morning. Looked almost like snow (now that is a bad 4 letter word if I ever heard one). Only to be down to 40 tonight but only 50's and rain predicted for the weekend festivities. Glad everything is indoors - I will be happy just to get to Bronners.

Take care everyone, have a great, awesome weekend and i will check in Sunday after I get home.

You're going to BRONNERS? COOl! (Is that where your son is getting married?) We were there this summer, and Totally overwhelmed!

You were that close and you didn't tell me??? Bronner's is in Frankenmuth and so is the Bavarian Inn, where the wedding is taking place. Bronner's is, I think, my favorite store. And, for anyone that is puzzled at what Bronner's is, it is a Christmas store - that requires a map for navigation. HUGE is an understatement. I collect Santas and it is a very dangerous place for me to be. Hope I don't loose any DOTD's!

Congratulations Traci!! Hope that Tim is feeling better soon.
Gail, that Christmas store sounds like someplace that I need to visit. I will have to check it out and see how far it is from me, and maybe make a weekend trip there. Have a great time at the wedding. And don't forget to post pics.
Have a good nite everyone!!

Congratulations Traci & Tim.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery Tim.

thanks Shauna, Traci, Kathy, Linda and everyone for all of your work.

Having a strange bout of insomnia here tonight. Hoping to sleep soon...

Gosh Traci, you made me jump from one emotion (concern- Tim's surgery) to excitement (your wedding!) all in one post! Holy cow. First- good vibes for Tim!! Hoping he will be up and feeling great by cruise time. Second- many blessings on the wedding! Had you always planned for it to be this fall? I love fall weddings.

Speaking of fall weddings- can't wait to see pictures, Gail! How exciting for you too.

It finally feels like fall here today. Windy, and cool in the mornings and at night. I needed a jacket at soccer practice tonight and still felt cold with the wind. Hoping for nice weather this weekend for soccer and WE are going to a wedding too on Saturday! What a coincidence, huh?

Mike- you sound so busy! It helps to have our countdown to vacation to manage all that stress.

I ordered all my t-shirts yesterday- 36 in all! :scared1:Man, oh man. I have a DF who is coming over to help me IRON ON once they are here!!! (But I have made a bunch of magnet designs for her family- they'll be on the Wonder while we are on the Magic!!) I'll post some pics once I have stuff done.

Christine

Gayle, we went the whole length of Michigan from Escanaba to White fish Point to Toledo Ohio! Sorry I didn't know you lived there, then. We stayed in Saginaw one night.

The day we went to Bronners, it deluged. I have never been so wet! Since we lived in Germany for 9 years, German lunch was a MUST, so we ate lunch in that Bavarian Inn - what a pretty place for a wedding! Lift a glass of Bitburger Pils :)

Bronners has the ship model ornament that looks like the Magic. They also have a catalog, if anyone is interested:laughing: http://www.bronners.com/
