Gma Kathy- The dogs are too cute with their special collars.
LTR Kathy- Hope the time goes by quickly while your DH is gone! How are you feeling?
Tim- The FE is great! and that magnet is hysterical, I've never seen it before. DD would love it!
Alyssa- I'm a little slow here so forgive me if you've explained before, do you live with the family whose kids you care for? Is the family also going on the cruise or just you & DH?
As for a vote on the names, can we do it as a poll? I've never tried to set one up here, would it have to be a new thread? Public or Private is fine with me, just seems like a poll might be less work.
Danielle, Thanks... I hope the time goes by quickly, too! I got an email from DH and he made it to London at 3 AM our time, and so now he's on his way to India. I have no issues at all with flying what-so-ever, but when DH flies by himself, especially long international flights, I do get nervous and just can't wait to hear that he's on the ground! I just get nervous when the kids and I are here by ourselves, and he's flying on the other side of the world from us. But, he always flies major airlines that follow all TSA guidelines, so that always makes me feel way more at ease. I am pretty independant, so it's not a big deal to take care of the kids on my own, so that is not necessarily why I don't like it when DH is gone, but I don't like it just because I purely miss him! The boys miss him, too. I'm just glad he only has to travel like this only a few times a year. I grew up in a family where my dad had to travel a TON, and after adding up all the days he was gone, it added up to about 6-7 months out of the year... my dad always told me when I get married to make sure I don't marry someone who has to travel allt he time for his job.

So, since I grew up in a family where my dad travelled for a living, I feel like I know well how to deal with the kids/house, etc. when Eric travels, but I'm very glad he does not travel like my dad did!!

I could not handle that.... I still don't know how my mom did it, and that was with 3 kids, and my oldest brother was special needs, which was a lot of work, and we had no family at all that lived near us to help since we lived up in Alaska... all of our family lived in the "lower 48". So, I always think of my mom as a total trooper! So, I'm glad Eric only goes about once every 3 months for just about 10 - 12 days, which is nothing compared to how much my dad travelled.
I am feeling about the same... still feel like this head cold could take a turn for the worse, or a turn for the better.... kind of just right on the edge. I've still been taking tons of vitimin C, drinking Arbornne (immune system booster), and trying to get sleep... so I'm hoping soon, it'll take a turn for the better and I will beat this thing!! Our weather just turned from summer weather to more fall-ish weather, and so I think it's the change in weather that caused me to get this head cold.
I like the idea of a poll, too! I don't know how to do those on here, though. That does seem easiest and very straight forward.
Oh, and
Tim, I agree... I love that princess magnet!!!

SOOOOO funny! Since I'm in a family with all males, that magnet would not work for our door, but I really love it!!

haha!!!!
