Pink Champagne Girls

The date(s) and times of the events are TBD and we will firm them up as we get closer to our sail date. We hope to have a champagne tasting event, and perhaps another get-together. Just let us know if you wish to attend!

Hello all!

I just booked this cruise. Actually have changed my sailing date quite a few times due to various reasons.

Anyway, I am sailing solo and celebrating my birthday...well sort of...it'll be just under a month away. (yes, I'm a Christmas baby) I'm doing late dining as it's what I prefer. Sailing in #12510.

It'll be fun to see the ship all decorated for Christmas! I've done two Westerns before but never an Eastern. Looking forward to the extra at-sea day. I did the Fantasy in April and she's a beautiful ship.

I presently live in Florida about an hour's drive to WDW - but I'm originally from NH. I see several MA people on here. My son lives in Beverly and works in Boston.

Ian and Laura - Yes, I agree! As we get to know each other on the thread, linking dining would be a great idea. We've got plenty of time for people to see if there are those they really click with.

I had meant to get there last cruise in Cozumel but just didn't make it. I love the thought of sitting down having some nachos and a margarita. Since the Sky Ride isn't that long of an excursion type of thing, I think I know what my plans for St. Maarten are!

I had meant to get there last cruise in cozumel but just didn't make it. I love the thought of sitting down having some nachos and a margarita. Since the sky ride isn't that long of an excursion type of thing, i think i know what my plans for st. Maarten are!

i think you mean st thomas. We will probably make a stop in at senor frogs also. We could always sit at the same table.

WE HAD 10 IN OUR GROUP. I MADE SOMETHING FOR THE MANAGER AND THE BAR. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE GOT A LOT OF ATTENTION WE HAD FANTASTIC TIME. WE ARE over 50s CROWD AND LIKE TO HAVE LOT OF LAFFS. RUM HELPS.

Looks like a blast!! Do you know how far the Hard Rock Cafe is from the pier in Saint Maartin?

Hi Every one, I'm Kelly,and DH Gregg will be joining you on the cruise....we will be part of the 50 crowd with Deernut! ALMOST empty-nesters, our youngest (19) is hanging onto the nest by one little talon. It's kind of nice being "sort of" empty-nesters, so we have someone around to watch the dog and house while we are out having fun!!

Anyway, it's going to be fun getting to know each other. We are assigned to cabin 10047, and will be late diners. I can't wait to see the Christmas Decorations, and DH can't wait to wear his tux again (I think, he thinks he looks like 007 in it though I have to admit, he does look quite debonaire.

Well, off to join the FB site!! Not sure about the FE yet. I have a lot going on this next year...getting my first knee replaced in November of this year,and 2nd one in February of next year. So I'll be the one wearing the bikini with long scars on her knees I told DH that the "French Riveria" of the Caribbean is on this cruise, and clothing is optional. His reply...."I guess I'll bring the good camera then".

I'll look into seeing what it would take to do a Champagne Girls event (like making sure the founder doesn't mind us using that name if they aren't on the cruise) It sounds like such a fun thing to do.

Saw your ticker - I live in Florida and will definitely go to the Food & Wine Festival, one of my favorite events in Epcot. I love the Canadian cheddar cheese soup. Yum!

Yeah, I had "talked" to the founding member too, and it's pretty much if you want to do a group, just do it!! I bet we'll get good responses. I'll have to think about spearheading it, I work full-time, but it might be fun to figure everything out. It sounds like Oh La La is receptive to the meetings.

We do Food and Wine almost every year...we own points at BWV, just for that! this year, my sister, who haven't see for a long time is joining us, I can't wait to show her around and go to the MNSSHP with her and DH!!

She did the FB page for the group - it's a cruise specific page. But since she is the one who did the page and that is what she's usually done - to ask people to friend her first - I followed that. She'll probably show up in this thread when she reads it and she can let you know if that is what she'd like.

I bet people will like the Champagne Girls event (and I've heard talk about the guys doing a cigar meet or something so they don't feel left out) If we get a good response maybe there will be a few people who will help out.

When I sailed in April, Julia the concierge host helped us with a breakfast meet that we had set up (she got us the Captain's Table)

When it gets closer to the time, I can ask them for help. Maybe Ooh-La-La would be a perfect place? I had read on the link you sent where the ship set it up just like a champagne tasting. That might be possible?
