2 weeks from today we'll be RDing for Hagrids! Hopefully it'll be our 2nd ride since we will head there after check in Sunday.
As for keeping DS and I healthy. Vitamins, and DS has hand sanitizer on his backpack and in his lunchbox. I explain to him daily the importance of washing hands and sanitizing and how germs are on everything he touches at school.
We were nervous last January about flying and catching something. I have pics of DS sitting in airport hand sanitizing with a face mask on because someone was coughing around us with a nasty cough. We may bring them again too.
At DHS for a 9am open. Got here at 7:10. There were about 5 groups to the right of the no bag area, and one to the left. We were the first at the no bag area. Just waiting for security to open now.
Now, at 7:33, all bag lines are about 15-20 people deep.
Edit: security opened at 7:37. We are at the turnstiles. Second wait begins.
8:10 they let us in. Holding at Hollywood Fashion store. Galaxy’s edge stand to the left. Toy story to the right. On the street only, not curb.

So sorry, ahh. It was go go go and then I ended up getting a horrible headache and was laid out after we got back to the hotel.
So they walked us to our areas starting at 8:45 or so, I think. They slow walked us and told people not to come up beside them, to stay orderly and slow and directed people back into the formation. It worked really well until the cast member change at Galaxy’s edge. Folks took an opportunity to push up and around and through while the change happened. But then the slow walk continued to Smuggler’s run.
As you go through GE, you start to narrow more and more, and at the last left before the ride, you narrow to two across.
We were maybe 40 people back by the time we got to the ride and done by 9:13.
Well I knew the minute I typed yesterday I was jinxing us. DS home sick, up with fever, pretty sure strep...
I suppose we should be thankful it's now and not 2 weeks from now.
Meanwhile, now I gotta be careful

I am having trouble deciding on this. It's our "repeat day" as we will have gone to both parks earlier in the trip. It is the day before we leave and we have the MK for RD the next day.
Ok here are the 2 options:
1. HS for 7am EMH--Slinky FP at 9:20--SciFi at 12:55 (I have been trying to move this for weeks without luck)--hop to Epcot for holiday things.
2. Epcot around 9am --holiday things -- hop to HS for evening. If we do this I will dump SciFi and Slinky obviously. HS is open until 10pm that night and it's my favorite park, especially at Christmas time. I am thinking we could do rides during the fireworks, as we have JBJB party earlier in the week.
At first I thought of doing HS EMH, hop to Epcot and then back to HS, but I really think we will be too tired at this point. I know us.
What do you guys think? I know I can always wait and make a game time decision, but I hate holding ADRs, especially for such a tough place. Will Epcot get more and more insane as the day goes on? Is it a better idea to hit those booths and see Voices of Liberty early in the day? We have the Epcot Forever dessert party earlier in the trip, so we don't need to hang around for that.
